After eating to their heart's content at Maruchiba in the mountain valley and feeling good, the group hails a taxi to head to Uguisudani. In a corner where small hotels line up, bright neon lights shine, and when you open the door, the place is filled with glittering decorations, like a toy box turned upside down with dolls and ornaments. The master, "Yokan-chan," is an 80-year-old former Asakusa entertainer. The hostesses are also mature ladies with seasoned talk. They settle in the sofa seats by the wall, toast with water and snacks, and chat for about 30 minutes before the eagerly awaited stage performance by the master begins. With karaoke backing tracks from a cassette tape, the master sings and dances original hilarious songs with a lively and energetic voice that belies his age. Intertwining customers' names in the lyrics to tease and entertain the audience is a skill of a veteran entertainer. In between songs, a luxurious fruit platter is served. The laughter has made their throats dry, making the fruits taste even more delicious. To finish off, they nibble on some grilled mochi to satisfy their hunger, and before they know it, two hours have passed. The bill comes to 10,000 yen per person, which may seem high, but considering the experience is similar to a private show at a high-end pub in Roppongi, it seems reasonable.

Even the restroom is flashy, like a foreign country. A shop frequented by politicians and celebrities. Cheers with bottled beer, followed by a meal. A course for 10,000 yen. Crab, sashimi, simmered dishes, fruits, all homemade by Mama. Everything tastes great. They serve seasonal dishes. There are plenty of drinks, often used for entertaining guests. The main attraction is the performance, enjoying Yoruzo's powerful and energetic show while drinking is the best. It's invigorating, and the laughter doesn't stop. Mama is very kind, and conversations with Yoruzo are also entertaining. I would love to visit again. I was able to enjoy a luxurious time unique to Tokyo. A well-known place that often appears on TV. But from the outside of the shop, I couldn't imagine the dream-like atmosphere inside, like a toy box. The sparkling neon lights that filled the shop were so beautiful, and even the restroom was not neglected, making it a great entertainment spot. It was so amazing that it still appears in my dreams. Both the owner and his wife welcomed us warmly, and even though it's a place to enjoy a show, there's a mysterious power that makes you naturally become friendly with the other customers (laughs). The food was also delicious. The salad, sashimi, and other fresh items were served in a fresh condition, and we had a variety of dishes such as steak, fried food, and rice. We were able to eat to our hearts' content from the first round, and it was very enjoyable. I definitely want to go there again. It was so much fun.
