I ordered the Mexican salad, tacos, and burritos at this American-raised restaurant. The salad was generous in portion and the dressing was delicious! The other menu items didn't have much vegetables, so the salad is a must. The taco shell felt like it had a lot of wheat. The burrito was above average with rice, beans, meat, and salsa sauce. It was a unique type of burrito. The smaller size was enough. It felt like a burrito meant for eating rice.

After a long time, I visited Toranomon Hills, this time not for the alley but for tacos. They serve authentic tacos from LA. They offer two sets, Michelada and Frozen Strawberry Margarita, regular Margarita, lots of carbs, and tequila-based drinks that got me drunk quickly. The tacos had slightly thick tortillas stacked in pairs, so I ate them by peeling one off. It might be a bit heavy for heavy drinkers. The corn chips with refried beans were quite filling. I felt like having a burger for lunch, but beer and tacos seemed to go well together. They seem to have a variety of options for lunch plates. I would like to try it for a day drink.

I went alone. I arrived at 11:30 because it looked crowded, but I started eating around 12:10. It felt like a bit of a wait. I didn't really like the taro-like dish, but I enjoyed the colorful ones and the ones wrapped in skin. That's why I'm giving this review.

I came from LA and it wasn't too hot in the evening, so I walked from Shinbashi to Toranomon. The interior of Tacosway was cute and the tacos were delicious. I wasn't very hungry this time, so I want to bring my big eater partner next time and try various menu items. ♡

I had a tostada salad. It was satisfying and I might like it more than tacos! They have a wide variety of drinks, from margaritas to tequila. The staff are friendly and helpful with menu questions. Many people come alone, but it's also fun to enjoy tacos with a group.

I ordered guacamole and chips for 980 yen, jalapeno poppers (4 pieces) for 900 yen, and tacos for 500 yen (beef, shrimp, chicken). The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively with table seating and dining tables in an open space. Located in Toranomon Hills, the restaurant is popular among office workers. Reservations can be made online, and even on the previous day, there are available slots. A must-order is the guacamole and chips when going for Mexican food. The serving is large and the chips are more than the guacamole, so be careful how you eat it! It's not spicy, and there is cilantro in it, so if you don't like it, you can ask for it to be removed. The tacos also have cilantro. There are two types of tacos, one with soft tortilla and the other with crispy tortilla grilled on both sides. The crispy one has cheese in it, which was a bit surprising, but it was delicious in its own way! I tried both types of tacos and ordered two items separately, and I was full. It cost around 3,000 yen per person. Water is self-service. Although it's a bit tricky to find from Toranomon Hills, it's a delicious restaurant.

We went to Taco Sway for a birthday celebration dinner for my son, who loves it. He was born and raised in California near Mexico, so we have tried various Mexican restaurants in Japan, but the tacos here are the best. The atmosphere also reminds us of California, which is nice.

I used it for lunch. I ordered the Ultimate Burrito style with beef. (It's fun to be able to choose the ingredients yourself.) In addition to the burrito, the plate comes with salad and chips (with salsa sauce), making it a satisfying meal. The accompanying hot sauce tasted delicious on everything.

On the 10th of every month, it's Burrito Day, and the LA size is discounted from 1300 yen to 1000 yen. This month's burrito was Stamina Pork with Salt Lemon, which sounded delicious. The first bite was full of ingredients and left a good impression. Inside, there were boiled eggs, pork, onions, garlic sprouts, Mexican rice, all packed tightly! From start to finish, every bite was full of ingredients, and I was extremely satisfied with the volume. For 1000 yen, including salad and chips, it was a great deal. I highly recommend going on the 10th of the month.

It seems like the first popular California restaurant has landed in Japan. For lunch, they offer set menus, so I chose the taco set. It comes with two tacos, Mexican rice, and refried beans on one plate. You can choose from 6 different taco fillings, and I went with carnitas (orange-marinated pork shoulder) and shrimp. The carnitas was a bit tougher than I expected, not as juicy. Is this how it's supposed to be? The shrimp taco was simple but delicious, grilled shrimp with salsa on top. I personally liked mixing the hot sauce that came with the refried beans. I ended up feeling quite full! I always think I can eat as many tacos as I want, but I usually get full after just 2 or 3. It was lunchtime, so it started getting crowded with businessmen. Besides tacos, they also had dishes like gyoza and steak, which seemed like good options for a hearty meal.

Family lunch on a holiday. The restaurant has a large glass window that creates a sense of openness, and it's very clean since it's new. The interior design reminds me of California, with a LA vibe in the background music, and the friendly cashier looks like he could be working at a West Coast store. The weather was nice when we went, and it really felt like being in America. We tried the taco shell bowl, which can only be eaten in the restaurant. The taco filling was like a chopped salad, easy to eat, and the crispy shell around it added a nice texture. It was very filling, and just this alone made for a satisfying lunch. The colorful and cute appearance made it even better. If this place was near my home, I would definitely come back for a salad lunch. Regular tacos are good too, but they can get messy to wrap or difficult to eat without spilling the filling. So, when you want to eat without getting your hands dirty or struggle to take a bite, this exclusive dine-in item is really great.

This is a taco shop from Los Angeles located on the 2nd floor of Toranomon Hills Business Tower. I've only had tacos from places like Taco Bell in Jinbocho, 3B Tacos in Tahara-cho, and Sizzler's buffet, but I didn't realize how different tacos could be depending on the restaurant. The prices are a bit high since it's in Toranomon Hills, but the tacos are sophisticated and delicious. The lunch menu is tasty, but personally, I found the individual tacos on the dinner menu to be incredibly delicious and satisfying. The meat tacos were great, but I especially liked the fish tacos with fried white fish.

There is a restaurant in the business tower of Toranomon Hills, but since it's my first time at Toranomon Hills, where is the business tower? Fummy's and Dexee Diner in Ebisu have apparently brought Mexican cuisine to Japan with AD Emotion. Well done! It's a restaurant from L.A. The burrito is made with marinated pork carnitas in orange, in US size (1,300 yen). They also offer a smaller Japanese size for 900 yen, which is nice. You can also order for takeout smoothly and while waiting, you can hydrate with the lemon water provided in the store. Tostadas are also available for takeout, so you can enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine at home. It's a place I'd like to have nearby. Repeat rate: ☆☆☆☆☆

I ordered the Tacosway Plate and it was delicious. The beans and Mexican rice that came with it were also good. I wish they had a little more quantity, but overall I enjoyed it. The restaurant is close to my workplace so I would like to come back again. The staff also spoke English, although for some reason they kept talking to me in English, haha.

Toranomon Hills' Mexican restaurant. The interior is stylish and it seems like a great place to enjoy tequila at night. The order includes tostada bowls with fried tortillas filled with ingredients that could go in tacos. It may not be satisfying for those looking for a hearty meal, but it is delicious.

I had lunch on a regular weekday afternoon. It was past the peak time so I was able to find a seat easily. It seems to be a system where you order at the register first. The lunch came on a plate, with steak, rice, and salad as a set. The steak had a rich flavor which went well with the rice. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was also nice.

There is a Mexican restaurant in the Toranomon Hills Business Tower. I didn't notice the location of the store when the Business Tower opened, but a colleague told me about it and I decided to visit for lunch. The menu is rich with options like burritos, tacos, and plate lunches, and you can choose from small (Tokyo size) or large (LA size) portions which is nice. This time, I ordered a Tokyo size chicken burrito. Compared to burritos I've had before (in America or in Frijoles), the flavor was a bit lighter and the chicken was a bit tough, different from what I expected. It might just be that the burrito didn't suit my taste, so I'd like to try other menu items like tacos next time.

Today's lunch was at "Tacos Way," a Mexican restaurant located on the 2nd floor of Toranomon Hills Business Tower. The interior of the restaurant has a chic feel and seems to be popular among women (80% of customers were female). It may not be the best choice for older men though. First, you order at the counter and then enter the restaurant. Looking at the Mexican cuisine, the taste didn't quite stand out to me. So, I went with the safe option of "The Tacosway plate for 1,080 yen," which allows you to choose 2 out of 6 types of tacos for lunch. I chose the "pollo," chicken sautéed with hot sauce, and the "pastor," pork sautéed with salsa sauce. It took a bit of time for the food to be served, but the tacos were very spicy! You definitely need to eat them with a Corona beer. It made me crave a beer. It was a shame that I had to work, but I would like to revisit for a beer at night once things settle down with the coronavirus.

Today, I decided to go for something a bit healthier, like a salad. I visited Tacoss Way, which is located on the 2nd floor of Toranomon Hills Business Tower and is the first of its kind in Japan. The business in Japan is run by a company called AD Emotion, which also operates "ARBOL" and "W Omotesando". Surprisingly, even the local restaurant in Musashikoyama called "Kitchen Ribs" is under their umbrella. I ordered the TW Tostada Bowl with Pollo for 880 yen and a coffee for 200 yen (excluding tax). The dining space is quite spacious, with potted plants and a stylish and relaxing atmosphere. However, the background music is Latin-style, giving off a vibe of the southern coast of the West Coast. You order at the entrance, pay, receive a number tag, and then wait at your table in an Excelsoir-style setup. The Tostada Bowl salad is generously served in a tortilla bowl, topped with Pollo chicken and guacamole. There are also mayonnaise, taco sauce, and a hint of spice, offering various flavors. It was quite delicious. The tortilla was crispy and fragrant, with a good texture. It seemed a bit high in calories though. Oh, the salad also had rice in it. It's quite a hearty meal. I don't eat Mexican food often, maybe once a year, but it was quite tasty. However, at 1188 yen including coffee, it felt a bit pricey for a fast-food restaurant where you can't really linger.

I went to a taco shop for lunch first, but it was a bit disappointing. So, I headed to Toranomon Hills where Dixie Diner is located. Since I had already eaten, I decided to go for something light. I tried the Jalapeño Bomber - deep-fried jalapeños, spicy but good! The beer was also great. I also had three types of tacos - Poki Tacos with tuna and onions, Lengua with beef tongue, and The Baja Way with white fish and mayonnaise sauce. All the tacos were freshly made, easy to eat with two layers of tortillas, and not too greasy. The tacos here are delicious and I would recommend this place for lunch or even a night out.
