I visited this restaurant before 6:00 PM on a regular day. Located in the food court of Ito Yokado in Oimori, this place offers quite reasonable prices for their dishes, so I decided to try it for the first time. I ordered the mapo tofu fried rice with dumplings set at the counter and found a seat to wait. After about 10 minutes, my order was ready, and I took it to my seat to enjoy. The mapo tofu was mildly spicy and had a gentle flavor that even young children could enjoy. While it lacked a bit of impact, I thought it was a good taste for a chain restaurant. The dumplings were crispy, and the fried rice had just the right amount of saltiness, complementing the mapo tofu well without being too salty. It was a bit noisy in the food court, as expected, but considering the prices, I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

Oomori Tokyo Gyoza-ken Oomori Kaigan Store Gomoku Yumen @648 + Gyoza 3 pieces (set) @242 I decided to have lunch at Oomori Ito-Yokado Food Court. There is a parking lot here, so it is easy to use. I also saw a few taxi drivers. There are new restaurants like Gyukaku Shokudo, Ringer Hut, and Pepper Lunch, so I had to decide what to eat. It was almost 3:00 PM, so I chose something light and decided on this place. Since I like dishes with sauce, I ordered the set menu that features gyoza. It took less than 10 minutes to prepare. Since it's summer vacation, there were many children around. It's snack time, so Baskin Robbins and McDonald's were popular. While waiting, the buzzer rang to pick up the food. I received the noodles first. The color was quite dark. As expected, the flavor was a bit strong. It's a chain restaurant, so I didn't expect anything extraordinary. It was simply delicious. The noodles were thin and normal. The balance was good. The ingredients included one shrimp, squid, pork, and various vegetables. The portion was average. I wish there were more vegetables, but considering the price, it's understandable. Next, the gyoza arrived. There were only 3 pieces, but they were well cooked with crispy wings. I usually eat gyoza with vinegar and chili oil only, but these gyoza were a bit bland. I should have used the sauce provided. Perhaps the strong flavor of the noodles affected this. Overall, it was a tasty meal. Thank you. #Oomori #OomoriKaigan #OomoriItoYokado #OomoriItoYokadoFoodCourt #TokyoGyoza-ken #Ramen #Gyoza #GomokuYumen

Ma Po fried rice for 693 yen + Aset (3 dumplings) for 198 yen = 891 yen. This is a Chinese restaurant located in the food court of Ito-Yokado, operated by Ken Corporation Holdings, which also runs various brands in Chinese cuisine, ramen, and yakiniku. On Sunday at 6:30 pm, the food court at Ito-Yokado was bustling with families with children, and I was the only one in a dress shirt. I took advantage of the 3-hour free parking. There are quite a few stores in this chain, offering champon, udon, tonkatsu, hamburgers, etc. After some contemplation, I was drawn to the word "Ma Po" and decided to try the Chinese cuisine here. Looking at the menu again, the prices seemed unusually cheap. There was only one Ma Po item, Ma Po fried rice, so I added dumplings for a bit extra. I received a buzzer, got some water, and saved a table. I wasn't naive enough to expect authentic Chinese cuisine in this environment where they probably can't even cook garlic. In about 9 minutes, the buzzer went off. I received a plate with Ma Po tofu and fried rice, which were lined up side by side like curry rice, making it a nice combo of fried rice and dumplings. The Ma Po tofu, with its appealing color, was covered in a layer of chili oil, spicy and numbing from the Sichuan peppercorns from the first bite. The silky tofu held its shape, and I must say it was surprisingly well-prepared. The fried rice was nicely cooked and delicious. Even the chili oil for the dumplings was homemade, showing the authenticity of the dishes. Considering the need to make a profit for a separate company in a food court setting, the taste and price were impressive. I wonder how they make it. It was a job well done. I quickly finished my meal to give up my seat to a family and left.

Plat, for today's lunch, I took a stroll around Omorikaigan Station. When you exit the ticket gate of Keikyu Line Omorikaigan Station, you will see Omorikaigan Street in front of you. Turn right after exiting the ticket gate and walk a little towards Omori. At the first intersection, there is a traffic light, so turn left, cross the traffic light, then turn right immediately, and walk a little towards Omori. On your left, you will see Ito Yokado Omori store. I visited "Tokyo Gyoza-ken Ito Yokado Omori store" located on the 3rd floor of the food court. I entered the food court around 2:00 PM on a weekday. There are several shops in the food court. At 2:05 PM on a weekday, no one was lining up in front of the store, so I checked the menu at the counter. The menu includes ramen, fried rice, children's menu, set meals, and various sets. I decided on the A set with ramen and gyoza, choosing the "Gomoku Yumian" from the 5 ramen options. I placed my order with a male staff member and paid for the "Gomoku Yumian A set". I received a buzzer and sat at a table in the food court. I poured myself a glass of water and waited. After 3 minutes, the buzzer went off, indicating that my "Gomoku Yumian A set" was ready. I went to the counter to pick up my order, made the sauce for the gyoza, and returned to my table. The set included Gomoku Yumian and 3 pieces of gyoza with wings. The Gomoku Yumian had minced meat, watercress, and chopped green onions. The soup of the Gomoku Yumian was a gentle soy sauce-based soup with a rich flavor from the various ingredients such as pork, shrimp, Chinese cabbage, carrots, wood ear mushrooms, greens, and green onions. The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles that absorbed the soup well. The combination of the noodles and the flavorful soup was delicious. The gyoza was ordinary but tasty. I enjoyed the Gomoku Yumian, eating the noodles and vegetables, then the gyoza, and finally finishing the soup. Today, I had a quick and enjoyable meal with the Gomoku Yumian and gyoza set. Thank you for the meal.

I had finished work with my colleagues in the Oimori area before evening and decided to stop by Ito Yokado Oimori store on my way home to pick up something. The food court on the 3rd floor was quite crowded, so I decided to order takeout from this shop instead. I have been to other branches before, so I ordered the classic "gyoza" and the new "mapo fried rice". The dishes arrived promptly. The gyoza had a consistent taste as always. The mapo fried rice had a clear separation between the mapo tofu and fried rice, which was convenient. It was a generous portion, and the spiciness was just right for me, who isn't a fan of very spicy food. It was delicious.

This is the food court inside Ito Yokado. When I go on a business trip for a week, I always feel like having Chinese food at least once. Today, I was in the mood for Chinese food, so I came here wanting Mapo Tofu. I placed my order and was given a buzzer to wait at my table. Suddenly, the buzzer on my table started vibrating and making noise. I quickly pressed the stop button and went to pick up my order. I thought being in a food court might make the food less authentic, but it was surprisingly authentic. The Mapo Tofu was spicy and delicious. It had a strong flavor with a tingling spiciness from the Sichuan peppercorns. It was so good that I couldn't stop eating. The soup also had a thick texture and was tasty. I also ordered a set with 3 dumplings. The dumplings had beautifully pleated edges. Overall, it was a satisfying dinner.

Dynamite Kawasaki's first ramen of the new year was the tantanmen from Tokyo Gyoza-ken! Although Tokyo Gyoza-ken is known for its gyoza, on this day I only ordered the tantanmen. It was a normal tantanmen that was enjoyable to eat. There was no need to nitpick, just a delicious and satisfying tantanmen.

Tokyo Gyoza-ken is a chain restaurant operated by Kenko Holdings Co., Ltd., with approximately 40 locations nationwide. The company also seems to own other famous restaurants such as Chen Mapo Tofu and Koshinfu. I arrived at the food court around 11:45 AM, where four staff members were working efficiently. I ordered the soy sauce ramen for 590 yen and the vegetable tanmen for 590 yen. The noodles were slightly thin, slightly curly, and appeared more white than yellow. The soup of the soy sauce ramen was more oily than expected, with a slight hint of off-flavors. The soup of the vegetable tanmen seemed to highlight the taste of the vegetables. The soy sauce ramen included three slices of chashu, menma, green onions, and a boiled egg, while the vegetable tanmen contained cabbage, komatsuna, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, wood ear mushrooms, and pork. Thank you for the meal.

I recently heard that "Tokyo Gyoza-ken" opened in the food court of Ito-Yokado Omori store, so I decided to stop by. I ordered the gyoza and mini fried rice with soy sauce ramen set. I had heard that the gyoza from Tokyo Gyoza-ken was delicious, and it did not disappoint. The gyoza was filled with finely chopped vegetables and was naturally delicious. The fried rice, described as "yakimeshi," had a light flavor that I enjoyed, but surprisingly, the soy sauce ramen that I wasn't expecting much from was amazing! The noodles were cooked perfectly, the soup was delicious, and the overall taste was great. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I'm in Omori.

Among them, I decided to go for ramen and gyoza, so I chose "Dan Dan Noodles" from the four ramen options and ordered the "Dan Dan Noodles and Gyoza Set" from a male staff member, then paid. I received a buzzer and sat at a table in the food court, poured myself some water, and waited. After about a minute, the buzzer rang, indicating that the "Dan Dan Noodles and Gyoza Set" was ready. I went to the counter to pick up the set, made the sauce for the gyoza, and returned to my secured table. The "Dan Dan Noodles and Gyoza Set" consisted of Dan Dan Noodles and 5 gyoza with wings. The Dan Dan Noodles had minced meat, watercress, and chopped green onions. The soup of the Dan Dan Noodles had a reddish-brown color with hints of orange, looking spicy. I took a sip of the soup. It was spicy, but not overwhelmingly so, with a tingling sensation on the tongue. The spiciness hit first, followed by the richness of sesame. The spiciness was just right, and the slight mellowness of the soup was pleasant. The soup also had a good umami flavor from the minced meat. I slurped the noodles, which were medium-thin straight noodles. Despite being straight noodles, they paired well with the soup, and the noodle-soup combination was just right. The seasoned minced meat was tasty and added to the dish. The watercress was crunchy and added a nice touch as I continued eating. The gyoza had wings and were simply delicious. I enjoyed the "Dan Dan Noodles" while eating the gyoza, drinking the soup, and finished the meal. Today, I quickly enjoyed the "Dan Dan Noodles and Gyoza Set" at the food court, Q-chan. Thank you for the meal. (2021.10)

#Full set#Ramen #Meat dumplings #Small fried rice#990 yenThe dumplings have a thick wing and a chewy skin. When you bite into it, a lot of meat juice comes out. It's quite delicious. The ramen is a light soy sauce flavor with thin slices of chashu, bamboo shoots, and green onions. It has a good amount of noodles. The fried rice portion was also generous, with crispy cabbage and a hint of shiitake mushrooms in the chashu. It's moist and tasty. Despite not being very crowded, I had to wait over 10 minutes for my order, and the return slot for dishes was full. I was initially drawn in by the name "Tokyo," but there is nothing that would make me want to visit again. #Just my personal opinion lol 2021/05/26#Tokyo Gyoza-ken #Oimori Kaigan #Ito-Yokado #Oimori #Food court#Tokyo Lunch Association 2021 #Lunch #Lunch #Tokyo Lunch Association#Ramen and Tsukemen Research Society #Ramen and Tsukemen Research Society 2021 No.15#Ramen #ramen #Noodlestagram #Ramenstagram#Tokyo Gyoza Association #Tokyo Gyoza Association 2021 #gyoza #potstickers #panfrieddumplings#Fried rice #Chahan #Fried rice #friedrice #Tokyo Fried Rice Association #Tokyo Fried Rice Association 2021 No.8

Inside the Aeon store, there is a chain restaurant where you write your name and wait during busy lunch hours. Many people order the full set with gyoza, probably because it offers the best value. I wanted to try the Gomoku Ramen, so I ordered it separately. It had a decent amount of vegetables, but it was different from what I expected with the sauce. When you go with children, they provide separate plates, giving it a family restaurant vibe.

It is located in the food court. I was disappointed to find that Tokyo Gyoza-ken in Kamata is no longer there. I ordered the gyoza for 385 yen. It took quite a while to prepare. They must have cooked it carefully. The gyoza has a flavorful filling, so it's tasty even without any additional sauce. However, the taste seems to be different from what I remember. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the menu has changed to a chain Chinese restaurant instead of the original Chinese cuisine. The taste is not bad, but my expectations were too high.

I ordered a ramen and gyoza set. It was lunchtime, but after about 10 minutes, the buzzer rang. To cut to the chase, the ramen was overcooked and tasted bad. Just like at Tokyo Gyoza-ken Omori branch, the operation was quite strange. I had a bad experience about 4 times at the Omori branch of the same chain, so I was worried and observed the operation from my seat. Since it was a food court, all the dishes were prepared and then called out. However, the gyoza was not cooked yet when my ramen was placed on the tray in about 3 minutes. I prayed that it wasn't mine, and watched as it took another 5 minutes for the gyoza to be served, and then my buzzer rang... Oh well, they should adjust and make it properly. But there was no one in charge of adjusting, and the kitchen staff was too many, so they couldn't coordinate well. As a result, they couldn't work together, and the ramen cook ended up boiling the noodles too quickly. No wonder it got overcooked. But the gyoza was crispy and delicious, so I guess I will go back again...

Takeout! I didn't eat gyoza, only fried rice (lol) It's like your typical chain restaurant fried rice!! It reminds me of what I learned from my friend in college about fried rice. Are gyoza delicious though? I quite like places like Ni Hao.
