Yoyogi-Uehara is a cafe renovated from an old folk house located quite close to the station. According to the staff, it seems to be a cafe space produced by Nadoya. Nadoya aims to create a facility that can sensitively respond to various developments and changes in art, culture, food, and life. They aim to function as a creative hub by conducting experimental projects while attracting people and promoting creative exchanges. The cafe seems to focus more on cultural and artistic aspects rather than just being a cafe. The cafe is supervised by Glitch Coffee & Roasters in Jimbocho, and the barista is also from Glitch. They are only open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, so it is important to pay attention when planning a visit. The mornings are relatively quiet, so it is recommended to visit on weekend mornings. The coffee they serve is unique and flavorful, similar to the brewing method of Claudia Samboni's IPA Natural IPA craft beer, with hints of dry figs and rum. The coffee is quite expensive but delicious. The atmosphere of the cafe, along with the detailed explanations and tasting notes provided, adds to the overall experience. The entrance of the cafe may be hard to find as it looks like a regular house, but once inside, the cozy garden and veranda create a pleasant ambiance. It's a great place to enjoy a high-quality morning coffee!

A traditional house cafe in Yoyogi-Uehara. The interior was renovated without excessive changes, and you can enjoy specialty coffee while feeling the seasons in the Japanese-style garden. The Colombian coffee, fermented naturally with citrus, has a rich aroma. As expected! The beans and barista are top-notch, but it's worth it because it's delicious.

Nadoya no katte in Yoyogi Uehara is a cafe renovated from an old folk house, open only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The entrance looks like a regular house at first glance, so it can be a bit hard to find, but once inside, you can enjoy a space that feels like a Japanese garden. It's a great place to change up the usual atmosphere or relax when you need to. I love that the scenery changes with the seasons, with autumn leaves and cherry blossoms to enjoy. It starts to get a bit crowded in the afternoon, so if you go in the morning, you'll practically have the place to yourself.
The coffee and barista are from Gritch Coffee, which is one of my top favorites. I highly recommend it to coffee lovers. The prices are a bit high, but when you consider the atmosphere and experience, it's worth it. This place has a lovely ambiance, delicious coffee, and great baristas, making it a definite repeat spot for me. It's a place I would proudly show off to others. I want to visit every time the season changes.

I was taught about the charm of coffee. I already liked coffee, but I learned about various flavors and aromas, many of which I had never encountered before, and now I want to try them all! The space, renovated from an old folk house, is also very nice, and before I knew it, several hours had passed. I will visit again.

Nadoya no katte in Yoyogi-Uehara: A quaint old Japanese house turned into a coffee stand in a residential area. They offer only two types of coffee - drip and latte, but the barista will carefully ask for your preferences and choose the best beans for a delicious cup of coffee. Perfect spot to enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere. #TokyoCafe #YoyogiUeharaCafe #CafeHopping #Instagrammable #CoffeeLovers #NadoyaNoKatte #OldHouseCafe #CoffeeStand

Cafe in Yoyogi-Uehara. It's located within a 5-minute walk from Yoyogi-Uehara Station. It seems to be supervised by Glitch Coffee and Roasters in Jinbocho. I visited on a Sunday around 4 pm and it was about 80% full. The shop is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The exterior is a renovated old house on the first floor. Mosquito coils are lit inside, creating a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a grandma's house. Today, I ordered the following. The beans change weekly. The pig-shaped mosquito coil holder at the counter is cute ✨ The counter used to be a bathroom. ✔︎COLOMBIA MONTEBLANCO (1000 yen) They grind the beans thoroughly. They let you choose based on the fragrance of several ground beans before selecting. I liked the sweet chocolate aroma. I relaxed near the engawa. The price is a bit high, but it was an interesting cafe with a unique concept, almost like going back to basics. Thank you for the meal!!

I discovered this cafe on Instagram. I happened to be in Yoyogi and was looking for a place to have tea, so I found this stylish coffee shop renovated from an old folk house. I could choose from a variety of coffee beans and ordered a cafe latte. The staff explained the different options to me very politely. The coffee beans seemed to be finely roasted, as I could really feel the aroma of the coffee in the latte. I enjoyed it very much.

You can enjoy really delicious coffee here, although it is a bit pricey at around 1000 yen per cup! I don't usually drink coffee, but a friend recommended this place to me. I used to think that I couldn't tell the difference in coffee flavors, but this was on another level. When you compare different coffees, you can easily taste the differences in flavors and aromas. You can choose from over ten types of beans to have your coffee made, and the lineup seems to change frequently, so you can always discover a new coffee each time you visit. The shop, renovated from an old Japanese house, is charming. I sat on the veranda and had a great time. This is now my favorite coffee shop.

This is a cafe located in Yoyogi Uehara in a traditional Japanese house. I visited close to closing time on a Saturday, so there were no other customers, but it seems to be usually crowded. Since I'm not a fan of coffee, I didn't know what to order, but the staff recommended something suitable for beginners. Turns out, the coffee was quite delicious! It wasn't bitter, maybe because it was lightly roasted. The cafe seems to have a barista who usually works at a cafe in Jinbocho, so I'd like to visit there as well. It's a bit pricey, but I'd like to come back.

I thought it was a refreshing atmosphere, but it turned out to be a small renovated old house. They have a lot of acidic coffees, so I chose one with a lychee scent. It was delicious but the portion was small and it was quite expensive, around 1000 yen. I'm not sure if I would come back again.

I visited the store just before closing time on Saturday or Sunday at 6:00 pm, but I was kindly offered a takeout option. I asked for a recommendation for a fruity and floral coffee, and purchased a Colombian Milan iced coffee for 1300 yen. As explained, it had a strong strawberry flavor and a unique aroma, making it a very delicious cup of coffee. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

In the rain, I visited a consultant and used the service. The atmosphere was still nice, but I imagine the terrace would be even better on a sunny day. However, it seems that it gets crowded on sunny days. A beautiful barista explained things carefully and brewed the coffee for me. She was really lovely. The price of 1,000 yen for a cup of coffee is quite high, but overall satisfaction is high. Thank you for the meal! (^^)

If you want to enjoy trendy lunches and cafe hopping in Tokyo, Nadoyanokatte in Yoyogi-Hachiman is a great choice. It is a renovated old house with a beautiful garden, perfect for a stroll after having lunch at Kaku no Shin Rt in Yoyogi-Hachiman. The coffee shop at Kaku no Shin Rt is known for its light roast hand drip coffee, but if you prefer dark roast, it's best to ask for recommendations. My husband and I ordered a latte and a dark roast coffee based on the recommendations. The prices were quite high, with my husband's coffee costing 1200 yen and mine costing 1000 yen. The dark roast coffee became more acidic over time, making it hard to drink, and when we asked for sugar, we were told they didn't have any. The garden at Nadoyanokatte is lovely on sunny days, and you can also sit indoors on rainy days. The cafe has a high-class atmosphere, perfect for those looking for authentic coffee. Just be aware that sugar and milk are not provided. The cozy atmosphere, presence of dogs, and friendly vibes make it a pleasant place to visit. However, since the cafe is only open three days a week, it's best to check their schedule before visiting.

This is a specialty coffee shop located in Yoyogi-Uehara. They offer only two types of drinks on their menu: coffee and latte. They have about 10 types of lightly roasted coffee beans, and you can choose by sampling the aroma. The prices range from 800 yen to 2000 yen, with discounts available for the second cup. The hand-dripped coffee brewed at this specialty shop was delicious.

Renovating an old folk house into a modern yet cozy space. You can learn about the wisdom of beans and even watch videos of the roasting process. They also offer the opportunity to compare aromas. If you're interested in discovering rare beans, this place is worth a visit.

Just a 2-minute walk from Yoyogi-Uehara Station. Although it's only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, this hidden gem caught my attention. Behind the iron gate, there are gentle stone steps leading up to a wooden house that has been converted into a coffee shop. You place your order in the backyard, where you can sit on benches or anywhere you like. The staff carefully brew the coffee and when it's ready, they call your name. I chose the Ethiopian Sidamo Tamir Tadesse for 900 yen, which had a fragrant aroma reminiscent of black cherries. My companion went for the El Salvador Espana Estate for 1000 yen, which had a unique aroma similar to Irish whiskey. It was a delightful experience enjoying a cup of delicious coffee in such a beautiful Japanese garden setting.

A cafe renovated from an old traditional house that looks like a Japanese garden, with a gallery attached. It's super stylish! The coffee is supervised by GLITCH COFFEE from Jimbocho, and it's a perfect match for those who like light-roasted coffee. You can choose from around 6 types of beans and have it brewed for you. It's a lovely place with a Kyoto-style atmosphere! Just be careful as leaves might fall from above!

【Nearest Station】2 minutes walk from Yoyogi-Uehara Station【Budget】Up to 1000 yen【Overview】A cafe in Yoyogi-Uehara supervised by "Glitch" in a renovated old folk house. Originally used as an art gallery, this place was transformed into a cafe where you can enjoy delicious coffee. They serve single origin beans, where each bean is carefully dripped to bring out its flavor. They also offer fermented beans coffee, which is said to resemble aged wine. The charm of the unfinished old folk house really captures your heart, making it the number one spot to spend a leisurely morning in an elegant atmosphere. There were no customers on Saturday morning at 9:00, and only three groups, including families, visited between 9:00 and 12:00. It's still a hidden gem!○Business Hours: Fri-Sun 9:00-18:00【Menu】・Iced Coffee (Mojito) 1000 yen【Note】I visited early at 9:00 for some work. I asked the staff for a refreshing and clear coffee for my first cup, and they recommended a coffee bean with flavors like Mojito or lime. I felt reassured to leave it to the staff, who have knowledge that shines in national and world competitions! I stayed from 9:00 to 11:00, and even as the ice melted, the taste of the coffee bean remained prominent, allowing me to fully savor its deliciousness until the last drop! I appreciate the great community space they have created, and I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the wonderful experience. *Posted on 3.12.

Visited around 14:00 on a Sunday. I thought they only had terrace seats, but there were also indoor seats (about 6 seats) with large windows wide open. This is a coffee shop called "GLITCH COFFEE & ROASTERS" in Jinbocho, open only on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. They only serve coffee, no snacks! I used to avoid coming here because of the cold and mosquitoes (lol), but surprisingly I didn't get any mosquito bites. They offer single-origin coffee, all lightly roasted in-house. There was a special menu for their 1st anniversary on that day. They don't have the usual menu, but display the beans and you can decide while consulting with the staff. I'm not familiar with coffee, so I was happy to be able to ask questions. ★ Colombia (Red Fruits) and Colombia (Lychee) tasting comparison for 1700 yen. Even with the same beans, the fermentation process brings out different characteristics. The (Lychee) one had a peach-like aroma, very clean and crisp. The (Red Fruits) one had a sharp initial taste, with a long finish. It reminded me of the refreshing coffee brewed by the old man at "Arrow" in Kumamoto. It's a bit pricey, around 800-1,000 yen per cup. Recommended for coffee enthusiasts.

I chose a café latte for ¥900, which is made with coffee beans from Panama. The beans have a fragrance similar to FuSaSuGuri, cocoa nibs, and apricot. This is the most recommended bean for a latte, and it did not disappoint. It had the strongest cocoa flavor I have ever tasted in a coffee. Although the serving size was quite small, the quality was exceptional. Initially, I thought ¥900 was expensive, but the taste justified the price, and I would love to have it again.

Located on the north side of Yoyogi-Uehara Station, in a quiet residential area, this facility aims to create a space that is sensitive to the diverse development and changes in art, culture, and food. Here, you will find a coffee stand called Nadayano Katte. Using a seasonal traditional house, the atmosphere is rich and deep. Supervised by Glitch Coffee in Jinbocho, the staff also come from Glitch Coffee, making it almost like a branch of Glitch Coffee. They offer around 10 types of beans, and the staff will carefully explain each one to help you find one that suits your taste (note that they mainly offer light roast, so it may be a bit intense for those who prefer darker roasts). I chose the El Salvador El Carmen Farm Geisha (¥1,200), which was ground using a Mahlkonig EK43 grinder and brewed with a Kinto SCS-S04 dripper at 86°C with a slightly faster pour. This natural process bean, dried in the sun and fermented anaerobically, had a full-bodied and deep flavor with noticeable acidity but not too sharp. Afterwards, I tried the Colombia La Maria Farm Geisha Natural (¥1,500, with ¥200 off for the second cup), which had a beautifully clean flavor profile with a different acidity compared to the El Salvador. Despite the staff's warning that it might not be as good after the El Salvador, it had a strong presence, likely due to its second-place ranking in COE. I enjoyed my coffee under a large cherry blossom tree, adding to the overall experience.
