It's said to be easy to get in during the first half of the week (according to the staff), so you can go straight to the counter without waiting. A beer and a snack cost just under 1000 yen. I ordered a second glass, and the first glass was more refined, while the second had a rougher feel that I preferred. Some salarymen linger and drink slowly, but I recommend drinking quickly and heading to the second spot. The snacks were celery pickles and some kind of Sichuan pepper, which were just right. First is poured using a Karan (spout) from the early Showa period, which is poured at 3-4 times the normal speed, resulting in a smooth throat sensation. With the swing carafe, the taste can subtly change depending on who pours the beer, so deciding who to order from can be part of the fun.
