Located on the first floor of the Otemachi PLACE building directly connected to Otemachi Station. It seems to be a shop named after the owner, Mr. Takesato Suke, who has opened numerous ramen shops in Hokkaido and recently in Nakano. Being in a first-class building in the office district, most restaurants close for lunch by 2 pm, but they were still serving close to 3 pm, which was very convenient. I ordered the extra large portion of the special miso ramen, which came with free rice. The amount of noodles was normal, but I did order the rice. I was expecting a rich miso flavor with oil, garlic, and ginger kick due to the name "special miso" and the owner's Hokkaido background, but the soup was actually a mild, creamy white miso base. The noodles were slightly curly, medium-thick noodles with a yellowish color that seemed to contain eggs. The toppings included 2 slices of chashu, menma, 2 sheets of nori, green onions, and fried garlic. Overall, the balance was good and it paired well with the rice, tasting delicious, but I didn't feel any distinctive features. Other recommended items for lunch are the pork belly fried rice (fried rice + ramen) and Taiwanese mazesoba. I will definitely visit again for a late lunch. Thank you for the meal.

While out for lunch, I chose the explosively flavorful beef tendon dipping noodles from the menu's most popular items. The thick noodles were paired with a rich and gooey tendon stew, which had just the right amount of saltiness. When dipped in the stew, the noodles took on a subtle flavor, reminiscent of oil-based noodles with a hint of fish powder. Overall, it was unexpectedly delicious.

Otemachi Place is a building that gained attention last year when the Japanese government sold its portion for 436.4 billion yen, making it the most expensive real estate transaction in Japan. Inside this building, there is a restaurant area with a ramen shop that offers free extra noodles and rice, providing a budget-friendly service. According to the Otemachi Place website, "Takerokuramen offers a selection of ramen carefully chosen from over 500 menu items accumulated by the founder of the popular Mutsuimiya ramen chain in Hokkaido, Suke Takeroku." The ordering style is not ticket-based but done at the table. The interior has counter seats facing each other, as well as tables for groups along the walls. I ordered the "Charred Shoyu Ramen" from the menu and was asked, "Would you like the free extra noodles?" I couldn't resist and said, "Yes, please." After a 15-minute wait, the ramen arrived in a large bowl with a murky brown soup, topped with nori, seared chashu, komatsuna greens, chopped onions, seasoned egg, and yuzu peel, creating a visually appealing dish. The noodles were thin and straight, absorbing the soup well. Since it was a large serving, I struggled to finish it all, even though the taste was just average. It was unclear if this ramen truly reflected Takerokosuke's expertise. In terms of service, despite being open for over a year, the operation seemed chaotic, causing delays, making it inconvenient for those in a hurry.

I visited on a business trip. I ordered miso ramen and since it was lunchtime and free, I got the large size. The miso flavor was strong. The ramen had a good chewiness, but there was more than I expected. It was disappointing that the two slices of chashu were thin.

Located on the first floor of Otemachi Place, this ramen shop tends to get quite crowded during lunch hours on weekdays. However, after 12:30, I was able to walk in without waiting in line. I ordered the pork belly fried rice set, but it took about 20 minutes for it to be served, which seemed like a mistake. This is not something you should do when serving busy business people in Otemachi.

I went to "Takerokuramen" by myself around 12:00 on Saturday at Otemachi Place West Tower 1F, directly connected to Exit A5 of Tokyo Metro Otemachi Station. The business district was quiet on Saturdays, but this was the only open restaurant and it was filled with male customers. The bright and clean interior had a relaxing mood music playing in the background. I ordered the recommended items: a small salt ramen and a pork belly fried rice set. The salt ramen was flavorful with a rich broth and came with chashu, menma, and green onions. The pork belly fried rice was delicious with ingredients like komatsuna, onions, and perfectly cooked pork belly. It had been a while since I had fried rice, so I enjoyed it even more. Payment was easy with PayPay. "Takerokuramen" is a recommended place for tasty ramen and fried rice. Check out the blog for more details: https://blog.goo.ne.jp/good-tasty/d/20230501

Beef tendon tsukemen (1,000 yen) is a very rare tsukemen that I couldn't help but order. You can also add cabbage or menma for free. Additionally, you can get a larger portion and rice for free. The price range is from 900 yen to a bit on the higher side. It has a spicy beef tendon flavor and I devoured it in no time.

Beef tendon simmered in a dipping noodle. Originally from Hokkaido, but now probably based in Nakano, this creative ramen spot offers an explosive dipping noodle dish using spicy beef tendon simmered in. The noodles are quite ordinary with no particularly refined aspects, but the addictive flavor of the beef tendon appeals to those who enjoy it. (I personally like it, as I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.)

I tried the salt-based ramen last time, so today I decided to go with a miso-based ramen. I ordered the "Rich Miso Ramen" for ¥900. Despite the name, the miso flavor was not too strong, but rather mild and mellow. I enjoyed the crunchy texture of the bean sprouts and the medium-thick curly noodles.

The beef salt ramen was better than expected. The soup was quite salty, but overall it was good. The explosive rice dish had a lot of beef tendons and was quite spicy. It came with a raw egg, which helped to balance out the spiciness. The gyoza, despite its size, had very little filling inside so it didn't fill me up.

The "Special Rich Miso Ramen" for 900 yen was not as rich as I had imagined. The miso flavor was weak. The chashu was tender, but it tasted more like boiled pork than chashu. I was hoping for a stronger flavor, so I felt a bit unsatisfied. Maybe it's because of the bonito broth? However, when I asked for extra menma (free), they gave me a mountain of menma. That part was satisfying.

I tried the recommended salt beef ramen. Instead of pork chashu, it came with roast beef! The refreshing salt soup and chopped green onions go really well together. I like the thin noodles firm. I finished it in no time, slurping up all the soup. They have a variety of menu options like salt, miso, soy sauce, tonkotsu, and tsukemen, so I had a hard time deciding. The side menu is also extensive. It makes you want to ask which one is the best. I plan to try each one of them.

I visited Takeroku Ramen Otemachi for lunch for the first time. I couldn't decide between the recommended lunch options, so I ordered the B Pork Belly Fried Rice Set (1,000 yen). The fried rice was dark and flavorful, with plenty of pork belly meat, eggs, and well-cooked vegetables. The small ramen portion was just right, with thin to medium noodles. Although you could see some oil floating on top, it was a refreshing dish. I left feeling full and satisfied.

The exploding beef tendon dipping noodles were popular, so I ordered them. The topping was a chunk of beef that resembled beef tendon, and the dipping broth was oily and rich miso soup. I wondered why it tasted so much like miso soup as I ate. I realized that there were a lot of daikon radish in it, even though they had melted and lost their shape. I think when it comes to ramen with miso soup, once it starts to taste like miso soup, that's all there is to it. I was disappointed that the beef tendon was not the tender, gelatinous kind. If you don't like miso soup-like broth, it's better to avoid this dish. I think it would have been better as just a regular bowl of ramen. It might be good for those who enjoy dipping ramen into miso soup and eating it.

"Explosive Beef Tendon Tsukemen with Special Toppings - First Visit! I went because I had to go to the office for the first time in a while. I arrived after 12 pm on a weekday and was able to enter without waiting. The miso-based soup with plenty of domestic beef tendons was rich and oily, paired with chewy medium-thick straight noodles. The punch of the beef tendons is strong! It's quite heavy, so it might be too much for lunch. It seems like a flavor that men would enjoy. I also had roast beef and flavored egg as toppings, and before I knew it, I had finished it all! They also offered free extra servings and rice! I need to explore more of the Otemachi gourmet scene!"

I tried the dish with roast beef on top, which was labeled as the most popular item for 1200 yen. The ramen takes about 5 minutes to prepare, and the staff, who were foreigners, seemed a bit inexperienced. The atmosphere of the restaurant was like a casual eatery. While waiting, a customer who arrived after me received their tsukemen first, causing some confusion. Eventually, the server brought over my order and asked if I needed an apron, but I didn't realize it at first. The tsukemen had an orange-colored soup that was slightly spicy with a hint of acidity, possibly made with beef bone or tendon. The flavor changed slightly when I dipped the noodles in it. The roast beef slices were thick and the dish overall was okay, nothing special. This restaurant seemed to be related to Takeloku in Nakano, which I found out through the Eat Log app. Takeloku's ramen was too greasy for me in the past, and this place also had a slightly oily soup. They offer extra noodles and rice, but you have to ask for them. The noodles were typical for tsukemen, and the roast beef was average as well.

I was curious about the dish described as the number one popular item at 12:50 on a regular Thursday. It includes roast beef, egg, seaweed, and free menma for 1200 yen. You can also get a large portion for free, and rice is also free. It is served in about 7 minutes. The dipping sauce has a unique taste, quite salty and spicy. It would probably be delicious with added sweetness.

On a regular Wednesday at 11:50, with no waiting, the restaurant had about 20% capacity. We were seated at a 4-person table with an acrylic board next to us, but not in front. I ordered the main dish, which was the beef salt ramen for 1100 yen with a free extra portion of rice. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The waiter, who was Chinese, asked who ordered the ramen, and I pointed to my partner, who ordered the extra portion. When the next ramen arrived, it was actually the extra portion for my partner. The waiter should have explained better. The taste was average, with a simple broth flavor. The noodles were straight and medium-thin, and I couldn't tell if there was any kansui in them. Overall, it wasn't a delicious meal.

This is a new restaurant that opened in March 2022. I didn't even know there was a new shop across the street, but I was invited to check it out. Since it's a new place, I decided to try their recommended dish, the Beef Salt Ramen. I was a bit skeptical about the combination of beef and ramen, but I gave it a try. The ramen arrived with two slices of roast beef on top, which looked appetizing. The flavor was salty, with a firm and satisfying taste. However, the beef felt a bit tough and had some chewy parts. The combination of the salty broth and beef didn't seem to work perfectly for me. Overall, the dish was not bad, but I felt that the beef didn't enhance the ramen as much as I expected. It's more of a personal preference, so please take that into consideration. Thank you for the meal.

I searched for a new store in the neighborhood and found a hit. When I googled the store name, it seems to be the founder's shop of Mutsumiya, so I have high expectations. Located in Otemachi Place West Tower, straight ahead from the main entrance and on the right side. They also sell take-out dipping noodles in front of the store. Inside the store, they don't have a ticket machine, so you have to order verbally. The menu offers various types of ramen such as beef salt, white miso, and soy sauce, making it difficult to choose, but I ordered the most popular explosively delicious beef tendon dipping noodles with a topping of green onions. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The noodles are on the thinner side for dipping noodles. The dipping sauce is unique, with a spicy beef tendon stew-like flavor, thick and well-coated on the noodles. There are plenty of ingredients in the dipping sauce, so maybe the special topping wasn't necessary? I added some spiciness with the chili pepper on the table and enjoyed it. I'm curious about the other menu items, so I plan to revisit soon.
