The basement floor of Musubi Tamachi has various dining options. However, around 12 o'clock, this area is always crowded, and if you miss the timing, you might end up being a lunch refugee. In such times, it's a relief to find a place where you can quickly enter. The horse meat is thinly sliced and goes well with the egg topping, making it very easy to eat. It's a convenient place when you're short on time.

I went to the restaurant area on the 1st floor of the building "msb Tamachi" directly connected to Tamachi Station on the JR Yamanote Line. There was a food stall set up in the entrance hall. It looked like a Mongolian nomadic dwelling called "bao/pao". The restaurant is called "Angel's Highball". I decided to go in and saw that there were about 10 counter seats. The staff, a young woman, was handling everything from cooking to serving, but seemed a bit tired. The walls were see-through, so I was visible from the outside. I regretted not wearing better clothes. I checked the lunch menu and found out they serve horse meat, such as "horse sashimi" and "sakura shabu". I ordered the top-grade horse meat bowl "Sakura Blossom Bowl (lean meat)" with miso soup and pickles for 1100 yen (tax included). I chose the rare option for the horse meat. It arrived in about 5 minutes and looked elegant when the lid was lifted. The rare horse meat was cooked just right, with a rich flavor. The rice was delicious with a flavorful broth. The miso soup with kelp was hot and tasty. The pickles included three varieties, with the white pickles having a crunchy texture reminiscent of a dish from Tohoku. I enjoyed the meal slowly and completely. It was a treat.

- Located in Tamachi - Easy to enter around 1 pm on weekends and holidays - Register on the official LINE account and get a complimentary dish (half Iburi Gakko cheese or milk ice cream) - Accepts credit cards and various QR payments - Takeout for Sakura Yukke available Food: - Sakura Akami Yukke Don Set 1,100 yen A set meal with miso soup and pickles. Rice can be served in a large portion, and extra sauce is available. The sauce, which is slightly sweet and thick, was just right when mixed with the egg yolk. The horse meat yukke had a good chewy texture. The circular counter in the middle of the square gave off a food stall-like vibe, making it a nice place to have a quick drink before heading home. They also have an Instagram account, so feel free to check it out: https://www.instagram.com/sss_03gourmet/

I was drawn to the "Sakura Kaika Don" photo and wandered around the restaurant. The restaurant is in a stand format right in the middle of the aisle, so I hesitated to eat there. Since takeout was available, I thought about getting it, but it came with miso soup and pickles, so I decided to eat there. The staff didn't say anything, so I wasn't sure if I could sit down or place an order. I ordered the Sakura Kaika Don with rare horse meat. After waiting for 5-6 minutes, the dish arrived and looked delicious. I started with the miso soup, which was too hot and the dried gluten hadn't softened yet, so it was crunchy. The main dish, the Sakura Don, was not good with rare horse meat because it was cold, and when combined with the warm rice and scrambled egg, it was too soft. The horse meat itself was delicious, but I felt like it needed some sort of seasoning like sansho pepper, red pepper, or horseradish. The pickles seemed like leftover scraps, but the rice was tasty even for someone like me who doesn't usually eat rice. The horse meat was good, so I want to try the horse sashimi for takeout next time.

I had lunch at msb in Shibaura today. I tried the horse meat yukke bowl that caught my eye. It cost 1,100 yen. It wasn't too greasy, but still had a good amount of fat and tender meat, combined with the creamy quail egg. It was delicious, although the portion was small and it felt a bit pricey.

"MUSUBU Tamachi" is a dining mall located right near Tamachi Station in a commercial area. Despite the challenging times, they are working hard to stay open and serve alcohol. One unique feature is the BAR stand "Ten no Tenshi" located in the hallway. Their lunch menu includes dishes like horse meat curry. They also offer a "Horse Yukke Don" for 800 yen on their evening BAR menu. You don't have to order a drink to enjoy the food, making it a good option for those looking for a light meal. The portions may not be enough for those with big appetites, but for me, it was sufficient. It's not common to find a place where you can casually enjoy horse meat, so I think this place will be useful in the future. I'm looking forward to trying their curry for lunch next time.

I stopped by casually to have lunch. I ordered the set meal and the horse meat curry set (totaling ¥1,200). The set meal came with miso soup, tea, and pickles. When the food arrived, I thought it was quite generous, but personally, the taste was a bit... The pickles were homemade, but they had a strong smell. It was a bit of a struggle to finish them all. The curry tasted similar to a retort curry. There wasn't as much horse meat as I expected. I wish it had been served piping hot! (According to some people, even if the taste is just okay, serving it hot makes a big difference in taste). The miso soup had a good flavor. Perhaps this place is more focused on dinner rather than lunch. I slightly regret not coming during dinner time.

I had some time before heading to the bar I wanted to go to, so I had a beer here. It's actually more of a shochu highball place, but I'm sorry, I only drink beer. The beer glass was thin, so it tasted really good. The first one I had was just okay, as I had just finished a beer not long before. I was planning on having a lemon sour with shochu for my second drink, but the waitress brought me another beer by mistake...I was planning on just having two drinks, so I didn't complain and just drank it. It was creamy unlike the first one. I found many interesting items on the menu, so I would like to come back and take my time next time.

"msb田町" is a quirky restaurant that caught my eye with its name. I thought it might be a whiskey bar because of the name "ハイボール," but it turned out to be a place serving "焼酎のハイボール" (shochu highball). The main dish was Kumamoto-sourced horse meat, including lean red meat, sirloin, and marbled cuts. The horse sushi was light and delicious, with little fat. I enjoyed it with some shochu highballs. To complement the meal, I also ordered some lean horse tartare and homemade pickles. It was a delightful dining experience.

A large commercial facility born from the redevelopment near Tamachi Station. Inside the spacious common area of the facility is a drink station. I can't help but admire the decision of the operator to place a bar in this way. The theme is shochu highballs. Enjoying it with horse meat dishes as snacks is a good way to take a break from work. However, it seems that the concept may have been slightly narrowed down too much in this place. I wonder how long it will last like this. ◆ Horse Sushi ◆ Potato Chips ◇ Taimyo Barley Shochu (Oita)

On Monday night, I was in the mood for a highball at Tenshi no Highball in Musubi Tamachi. The place has a unique atmosphere, almost like it's in the middle of the road. It's perfect for a quick drink. I ordered the "Kaku Tamme Ume Shu Highball" (400 yen) this time. It went down smoothly! It felt like rubbing the ball against the corner. If I have the chance, I'd definitely want to have another one next time.

We visited the bar around 7 pm at the end of the year with two people. The open bar in the hall space of the building was a bit hard to find, so there were no other customers when we arrived. But once we sat at the high chairs at the counter, we were captivated by the master's shochu talk. This bar mainly features shochu from Kyushu, and the master's knowledge and conversation were so impressive that we couldn't help but want to drink. Plus, he was a bit of a wild-looking handsome guy with a beard. So, we tried the following: - Premium horse sashimi trio - Horse liver sashimi - Miso stewed hormone - Salmon sushi - Ikura sushi - Angel's highball - Sansho highball - Absinthe on the rocks - Oku-Kuma - Ume-Man highball The drinks were really delicious. It felt like they had a carefully selected lineup. The Sansho highball had a refreshing scent of Japanese pepper! It seemed like it would go well with eel. The Oku-Kuma, which can't be sold as shochu due to legal reasons and is classified as a liqueur, had a whiskey-like flavor and was incredibly easy to drink. This rare item was also delicious! Not only the drinks, but the horse sashimi was also incredibly tasty and could easily compete with the horse sashimi we had in Matsumoto. Since it's a bar, the focus is on the alcohol, with snacks to nibble on, but I think the quality of the snacks is quite high. It's the perfect place for a drink after dinner!

After noticing the construction of new buildings at the Shibaura exit of Tamachi station, I was surprised to see that they were already completed and bustling with year-end party season. Following the flow from "Craft Meat," we ended up at "Tenshi no Highball" on the first floor of the Musubi Building for the second round. "Tenshi no Highball" features a circular counter in the middle of the first-floor dining area, mainly serving distilled spirits such as shochu, along with a variety of snacks like horse liver sashimi and horse sashimi. The namesake "Tenshi no Highball" is a tempting highball cocktail. We enjoyed it with the liver sashimi as a snack. Thank you for the meal.

I visited for lunch for the first time. Lately, I've been worried about my body shape from eating too much, but if it's cherry blossom meat, the guilt feels a little lighter. Cooked medium rare, beer with PSB and MD.
