I visited a game meat restaurant near Kinshicho Station South Exit. The photos show roasted venison, rabbit leg meat, and deer penis sake. The restaurant also had a wide selection of drinks at reasonable prices. I think it's a convenient place for parties and couples. I will definitely visit again.

I love Golden Kamuy, so I had always wanted to visit this restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious, the atmosphere of the restaurant was great, and the service was fast. The photo shows the "World's Most Delicious" (as advertised by the restaurant) Olive and Matagi (deer meat) platter. I will definitely come back to eat the olives again!

Three of us visited the restaurant for work. The first impression upon entering the store was surprising. This was due to the relatively large menu with eye-catching items such as deer penis sake. Additionally, there was a deer specimen (real?) displayed in front of the store. The hospitality of the man who seemed to be the owner was pleasant, with a strong sense of service that made our experience enjoyable. We enjoyed beer, mamushi sake, and deer penis sake. These were unique and valuable experiences that are not easily found elsewhere. For food, we ordered bear paw, rabbit, deer meat, pickles, and chilled tomatoes. Everything was delicious, but the bear paw is highly recommended. It had a unique texture and the seasoning was exquisite. The mashed potatoes served alongside were also superb. Overall, the seasoning was skillfully done. We have no complaints and will definitely visit again.

I love Golden Kamuy, so I tried the bear course and it was delicious with little gamey taste. The restaurant was decorated with many Golden Kamuy related items, which made my time there enjoyable. Thank you very much.

At the entrance, you will be greeted by a deer specimen. Enjoy rare meats on the menu. As someone who isn't a fan of fatty meat, I found it easy to eat. The deer harami was especially delicious. There were also unique drinks I've never seen before, so I'm thinking of trying them next time.

On my third or fourth visit, I tried the second floor for the first time. I also ordered the Ufu Mayo for the first time, and it was delicious! We ordered the usual menu items like venison, salmon, and fried corn, and made a toast. However, I don't drink much alcohol, so it was a bit tough having the drink orders taken frequently. I'm sorry I can't drink much.

Visited on a Saturday night as my second stop, so I entered around 9 pm. There were various game meats such as bear and deer that would excite Golden Kamuy fans. Among them, the cherry meat tartare steak and rabbit meat roast were delicious. The cherry meat steak was pounded like a namero dish, and when eaten with bread, it had a taste that made you crave wine. The rabbit meat was like a flavorful chicken thigh, with a firm texture and a rich taste that spread as you chewed. I really wanted to try the bear meat, but it was too late when we arrived and it would take too long to prepare, so we had to give up. I hope to try it someday. Thank you for the meal.

I was finally able to visit Matagi Tokyo, a place I've been wanting to go as a Golden Kamuy fan! This restaurant serves game meat sourced directly from hunters in Hokkaido, and it is said that the author of Golden Kamuy, Satoru Noda, has also visited for research. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you'll see Golden Kamuy character goods everywhere, which immediately boosts your excitement! The menu consists of about half game meat dishes and half izakaya-style dishes. Whether you want to enjoy game meat or just have a casual izakaya experience, you can do both here. I tried some interesting drinks that you can't find elsewhere, like soy sauce pickled garlic featured in the series. The cherry blossom meat tartare is served in a Western style with bread, and the Matagi platter I had included a combination of Ezo deer loin and inner thigh meat. Both were easy to eat without any gamey taste. The leek miso and sauce that came with it provided different flavors to enjoy. The Ezo deer hamburger on rice that I had as a finale was incredibly delicious. The hamburger, egg, and rice were all so tasty, and when eaten together, their flavors multiplied! It's a dish that I definitely recommend trying. Deer meat is high in protein and low in fat, which makes it a guilt-free and delicious option. I want to come back to try the menu items that were sold out this time!

I finally got to visit the restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. As expected from a game meat restaurant, the menu was interesting. The deer curry might be my favorite. The deer roast was also tender and delicious. The staff were very hospitable, cheerful, and kind. I didn't have the courage to order the bear paw stew...someone please order it and share a laugh!!

They also have Hoppy, a local favorite in downtown areas like Nishi-Kasai. They offer unique drinks like Ezoshika (Ezo deer) penis sake that you won't find elsewhere. The game meat from Hokkaido includes bear, deer, rabbit, and duck, all cooked without any gamey taste and delicious. They also have French-inspired dishes, and the menu has a good variety. It's Matagi Tokyo, a Hokkaido game meat izakaya located in a corner of the bustling district. The restaurant is proud of its Hokkaido-sourced game meat dishes. So, I ordered mainly recommended dishes. 1. Matagi Platter: A popular dish at the restaurant. It's a hearty assortment of Ezo deer loin steak, Ezo deer thigh steak, and homemade leek miso. 2. Country-style Pate with Olives: A pate that goes perfectly with red wine. The olives add a nice touch. 3. Magret Duck Tataki: The duck is cooked to perfection. I entered this place thinking I could try venison, bear, and wild boar. As a country person, I'm used to receiving wild boar as a gift, so it was my first time actually paying for it, and it's quite expensive. I ordered a set that included 100g steaks of venison leg, loin, and wild boar. It took a while, so I passed the time with a hunter's cabbage salad and a highball. The cabbage salad was simple, nothing special. The wait was quite long, about 30 minutes. Finally, the 300g of meat with scallion miso arrived. The meat was described as aged, but the flavor was weak. Maybe it was frozen? This was my first time trying venison, and it was quite different from the wild boar I've had before. I expected venison to have a more wild taste, but it was actually quite mild and tender. Even the leg meat was not as tough as I expected. I wonder if fresh venison would have a different impression. In that sense, visiting this place was worth it.

I went on a Tuesday when deer meat was half off! It was my first time trying deer sashimi, bear meat, and rabbit meat. They were all delicious, but the bear meat had a bit of a unique taste. The deer meat was mild and tasty. If you like raw meat, you can't go wrong here. I visited a restaurant near Marui around 6:30 pm on a weekday. Luckily, there was an available table so I was seated quickly. However, it seemed like there were many reservations as there were about 10 groups waiting, and those without reservations were being turned away due to the restaurant being full. It seems to be a popular place. I tried fresh oysters, fried oysters, venison loin steak, and roasted rabbit leg. Both the venison and rabbit meat had no gamey taste and were very delicious. The onion salad was also tasty. I would like to replicate this seasoning. I would definitely like to visit again.

I visited twice. I was able to try meats like duck, deer, and bear which I normally don't eat. Both times I had Ezo deer. The miso that came with it was also excellent! On the second visit, I had bear (market price) and it was a mysterious meat where the flavor came out as I chewed. It felt a bit fatty. I would like to go back again.

I visited the restaurant around 1:00 am. There were only a few customers as it was a weekday. The atmosphere was warm with friendly conversations between the staff and regulars. The restaurant recommended deer meat, so we tried their specialty dish called "Matagi Mori," which included deer loin and leg steak, homemade burnt miso, and rock salt. The combination was amazing! There was a slight gamey taste, but it was addictive. The meat was tender and easy to eat. We enjoyed it with sake, along with dishes like fried oysters, ankimo with ponzu sauce, and lamb chops. Everything was delicious and I want to come back for more. I wish I had talked more with the staff. I will definitely visit again!
