I have always wanted to go to Sushinjuku✨ I found out that it is not only in Shinjuku Sanchome, but also in the backstreets of Shinjuku, so when I had the chance to go today, I went with my best friend (o^^o)‼️‼️ We visited around 3 pm on a Saturday and were able to enter without waiting! The seating was for 2 hours! We received chopsticks with a lottery ticket from the staff, and it was a fun way to pick one from a box! I got a small blessing! Anyway... haha. We started with a beer toast!! The appetizer was like egg tofu! We ordered through the LINE account on our phones. It's a common trend these days at restaurants! It was nice that the staff didn't come by too often! Now, let's drink and enjoy the food we ordered: ★ Overflowing Shirasu with grated daikon 349 - A perfect appetizer to take a break! The shirasu was surprisingly big and satisfying! We enjoyed digging through the grated daikon to find the shirasu! haha ★ Atemaki - Yuzu pepper tai atemaki 399 - Atemaki made to go well with alcohol! It was really good!!! Although the toro takumaki didn't have much takuan in it, so we couldn't fully enjoy the texture of takuan. We wanted to order other atemaki as well, but they were sold out quite early. I wonder why, we couldn't order all types. ★ Negi Baka fried eggplant 349 - Eggplant fried with lots of green onions! I really liked this!! (=^x^=)♩ ★ Nori salt sweet shrimp tempura 499 - This one got us. It was too different from the menu photo and we were shocked... cried There was too much oil, so we couldn't enjoy the crispy texture of the shrimp, and we thought the plain fried version would be better overall. ★ Your choice of 2 nigiri rolls 399? - You can order your choice of 2 nigiri rolls! I chose my favorite whelk and ark shell, while my friend chose whelk and salmon roe! We initially wanted to order 3 rolls, but we changed to 2 rolls only because the selection for 3 rolls was not to our liking. Despite some disappointments, this place is still good for its affordability, and we found out what was delicious, so we would like to use it again when we want to drink with sushi!! It's cheaper than drinking at a regular sushi restaurant, so it might be recommended for those who prioritize cost performance!! Thank you for the meal ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

We used this restaurant as a pre-meal gathering spot before heading to another shop in Noren Street. We enjoyed dishes like beer, sea urchin, and tuna, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced. The bright and friendly service made us want to come back again. It was a nice touch that chopsticks came with fortune slips attached, adding to the fun.

I entered the restaurant as soon as it opened. I had been to the one in Shinjuku 3-chome before. There are two seating areas, but the second one hasn't opened yet. They mentioned something about the 2nd floor with JO1, but I saw "Men's Counter 2nd floor" written and it caught my attention. The food is really delicious, but it tastes high in calories. Unagi with butter, for example! Besides sushi, there are plenty of other menu options. The prices seem reasonable, except for the drinks. They have unique items like deep-fried natto rolls, and the taste is quite delicious.

I went to Sushi Atemaki Sushinjuku, located in the Noren Street of almost Shinjuku! Our main purpose was to drink, as it was our second stop after having ramen. So, I'll say it upfront: we didn't eat sushi. What we had was (explaining as we go): Cream Cheese Shio-koji -> Cream cheese generously mixed with salted fish roe! The saltiness of the shio-koji and the richness of cream cheese go well with sake. Agodashi Tamagoyaki -> The dashi has plenty of seaweed in it, giving it a rich aroma of the sea. It has a refreshing taste, perfect for when you want a change of flavor. Chilled Tomato -> Chilled tomato topped with crunchy pickled ginger. The combination with sweet vinegar creates a harmonious taste. Finally, Matcha Ice Cream -> Matcha ice cream is always a must. It was rich and delicious. The rice portion was small. Honestly, I was already full. But we had plenty to drink. The rich matcha highball was prepared right in front of us, making us feel like we were experiencing a moment like Sen no Rikyu. The corn tea highball was served in a cute glass! We drank a lot of drinks! This time it was our second stop, but personally, I'd like to come here as the first stop! That was the kind of night we had. Finally, thank you for the meal!

After finishing work, I had some time to spare before meeting friends for drinks, so I decided to wander around the east side of Yoyogi Station. It was hot outside, so I decided to have a light drink before meeting up. I found a place where the prices for items like sake-steamed clams with cream cheese were reasonable, so I went in. The interior of the place felt like a drinking establishment near a fishing port, and young women were serving customers. I ordered a shiso plum sour, sake-steamed clams with cream cheese, and steamed tofu with shaoxing wine. They were all delicious. I also ordered a glass of "Classic Senkin Muku." The portion size was small, and I found it a bit pricey. However, the taste was smooth with a subtle sweetness and flavor.

I went to a seafood and Japanese sake restaurant that I found on a food review website the day before. I easily made a reservation through the website. The ordering was done through a mobile app, which I find convenient, but having a bell for payment, questions, or requests would be even better. I was seated at the counter on the second floor, which was clean and spacious. It was a plus that heating tobacco was allowed. The tables were close to each other, so I could hear conversations from neighboring tables, which was fun. The food was all delicious and satisfying. I liked that the tartar sauce on the fried oysters and the toppings on the sushi were generous. The prices were not super cheap, but the food was tasty, so it was worth it. The lemon sour was around 700 yen. I wish they had more variety and a better selection of sake. I tried the mentaiko and shirasu mixed soba noodles for dessert, but the noodles were so chewy that I couldn't mix them well! It was delicious, so I would definitely like to visit again.

I visited this restaurant for the first time on my second visit. The doorknob was shaped like sushi, and even the restroom looked like a sushi vending machine. The restaurant had a humorous touch that made it perfect for Insta-worthy videos. I ordered the shrimp vs. crab battle dish that I often see on Instagram, and while it looked great in photos, it had a slightly fishy taste, maybe due to the freshness of the crab shell. The tuna had a lot of sinew, but the tuna ajillo and deep-fried seaweed were delicious and highly recommended. Overall, if you don't have high expectations, this quirky restaurant is worth a visit!

I tried to go to a restaurant in Yoyogi for a drink, but it was full so I gave up. I went to another place and was able to get in easily. Since I was already full, I only ordered two dishes: a tuna assortment and eel with butter. The eel with butter was incredibly delicious! The tuna was also fresh and the slices were large. I would like to visit the first restaurant next time.

I was completely satisfied with the fun atmosphere, cost performance, and service of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the overall experience was great. Smoking is allowed on the second floor for electronic cigarettes. It's a large restaurant and having smoking allowed is rare, so it's convenient for gatherings. The place is well air-conditioned and with only electronic smoking allowed, even non-smokers should be fine. The main dishes are a bit pricey, but other options are affordable and drinks are reasonably priced. The customers seem to be mostly in their 20s, but there are also middle-aged customers, so the customer base is diverse. It's within walking distance from Shinjuku and great for bar hopping, making it convenient for anyone.

The Sushinjuku Mount Sushi in the bustling Shinjuku district is visually stunning and gets you excited. Recommended. However, it may feel a bit pricey. The ginger highball was slightly sweet and delicious. On a side note, two women at the next table were enjoying fried potatoes, saying how delicious they were. They seemed different from regular potatoes. I'm curious now. I'll definitely visit again if I get the chance!

There is a restaurant located in the bustling alley near Yoyogi Station, very close to Shinjuku. It appeared to be the largest among the shops in the alley. Despite initially thinking it only had seating on the first floor, there were also seats available on the second floor. This time, we visited for a girls' night out. All of us love drinking, so we were looking for a place where we could enjoy both food and alcohol, which led us to Sushinjuku. Sushinjuku also has locations in Shinjuku 3-chome and another named Sushiebisu in Ebisu, with similar menus. Orders were made through a QR code, a convenient system that is becoming more common in izakayas. We were so engrossed in our conversation that we forgot to take photos until after we left. From what I remember, we enjoyed the Ebi vs. Kani Battle, the Tuna Medley, and the Sesame Amberjack, which was incredibly delicious. We also had nigiri and fried shrimp, and the total cost per person was around 4000 yen. It was a very enjoyable and delicious experience!

I went to the lively drinking district near Yoyogi Station, basically in Shinjuku, where I enjoyed dishes like shrimp kani, battle mount sushi, tuna-packed Daimyo roll, salted fish guts, cabbage, and various drinks including Japanese sake. The atmosphere was great with lots of fruit options. There are about 20 shops in total, perfect for both a casual drink and a full night of bar-hopping. While I was tempted by other Korean and meat-focused restaurants, I opted for sushi at this place. The dishes were reasonably priced starting from around 300 yen, making it easy to enjoy a variety of options. The crab, ikura, and tuna dishes were particularly satisfying with generous portions. While sushi restaurants are great, I highly recommend this place for a lively night of drinking and dining with friends. We even enjoyed a delicious clam ramen to finish off the night and take care of our livers. Perfect for a fun night out with friends, and great for hopping to another spot for a quick drink.

It is crowded but the turnover is fast, so you can get in with a short wait. Once seated, the staff will recommend dishes to you. The main focus is sushi, but the à la carte menu is also delicious, and the drinks are good too. The restroom is unisex. I went on a Friday night and the age group was older, so it wasn't too noisy, which was nice.

The shop is clean and lively at night. The petite female staff with a friendly personality made me multiple delicious matcha highballs. The sushi had interesting twists like smoked pickled radish or paired with plum, although some may consider the ingredients not top-tier, the creativity is commendable. The pricing is fair, not too expensive but not the best value either. One thing that bothered me was the noticeable irritation of a female staff towards a male staff member during service.

I visited the Yoyogi area near Shinjuku for the first time. I went to this restaurant for the second time. They had a variety of highballs, and the drinks were relatively easy to drink. The ginger highball had a strong ginger flavor and was delicious. Also, the sushi and other dishes were cost-effective, so I thought it would be nice to try a variety of dishes if it was the first stop. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very lively.

The voice of the waitress was so hoarse that it was rude, but I couldn't stop laughing. Have you recovered already? I hate my own voice. I wish I was born with a cute voice like the female version of Sayonara, Youth Morita, or a husky voice like Ito Sari.

In front of Yoyogi Station, there is a retro Showa-era space with ten traditional houses lined up, known as "Almost Shinjuku Noren Street," as well as a warehouse area called "Almost Shinjuku Noren Street Warehouse Annex." Walking through the warehouse, turning the corner and strolling past the shops in order of Iroha ni hoheto, it is a fun gathering time even before the official start, as you search for a place for the pre-drinks at the 0th venue.

I had some business in Yoyogi and decided to visit the bustling izakaya street near Shinjuku that I had been curious about. There are many charming shops like Moet champagne and grilled oyster restaurants. The first thing I ordered was a special strong matcha highball for sushi. They actually make the tea right there! It's amazing! The shrimp and crab battle dish was so luxurious with crab shell filled with shrimp, crab, and salmon roe, and crab miso roll at the bottom. It's quite filling. The salmon avocado drink was also huge! The crab miso tofu appetizer was also delicious. I would love to come back if I have the time! All the drinks were delicious, and they have a great selection of sake! I highly recommend it!

I visited Sushinjuku around 18:30 on Friday. There were not many people in the Shinjuku food alley, and all the restaurants had available seats. I chose Sushinjuku because I saw it on Instagram and thought it was cute! You can order through a QR code, but some limited-time items need to be ordered verbally. I ordered a cute glass of sake, potatoes, shimesaba, shirako, and butter-shaved unagi roll. The shirako was rich and firm, and paired well with the refreshing wakame side dish. The potatoes had a strong flavor, which complemented the sake well. The butter for the unagi roll was shaved by the staff until I said stop, so I didn't stop until the staff's hand did haha. It was not too salty, more like unsalted butter, so you can eat a lot without it being overwhelming. The shimesaba was fresh and delicious, perfect for cleansing the palate. Overall, the food was delicious, and there were plenty of menu items to enjoy taking photos of. I think it's a great place for a date!

Last night's dinner was at Sushinjuku, located just a few seconds walk from the east exit of Yoyogi Station, almost in Shinjuku's Noren Street! I hadn't really been to the east side of Yoyogi Station before, but when did this amusement facility or rather a food and drink street with nearly 20 shops pop up? The whole area is lined with interesting and diverse shops that are new and clean but have a retro Noren Street vibe that makes you excited just by walking around. It's not as intimidating as an old Noren Street might be to newcomers, but rather a trendy and fun Noren Street vibe. It's like a Japanese bar street in a foreign country. Looking around, the area is relatively bright and bustling with a youthful crowd. This time, I was invited by @marboochan to Sushinjuku, which is part of this area! It's a new era creative sushi izakaya, or something interesting like that. It seems to be referred to as a katakana-style sushi bar or emo bar in the streets. The food and the names of the dishes are all interestingly named. Last night's order included: Shrimp Crab Battle, Mount Sushi, Red Shrimp and Caviar Daimyo Roll, Salmon and Salmon Roe Daimyo Roll, Squid and Karasumi Daimyo Roll, Dangling Ankyu Tamago Sushi, Asari Tofu with Shaoxing wine, Overflowing Shirasu Oroshi, Uni Seared Plate Wasabi, Fried Natto Roll, Wasabi Yuzu Kombu Roll, Yuzu Salted Fish Roe, Oku Juji Egg Omelette, Clam Red Miso Soup, Beer, Kiwami Junmai Sake, Classic Senkin Junmai Sake, Ooyuki no Kura Junmai Sake, Pongria Blue (Grapefruit), Pongria Yellow (Pineapple), Pongria Red (Mixed Berry). Not only the customers but also the staff were quite young, but they seemed to be working hard and the atmosphere was nice. I was told that this place opened a year ago. Not only Sushinjuku, but the whole area is filled with interesting and lively places, with no chain stores in sight, each place has its own unique vibe. The staff at every store seems to be in a good mood! The price range also seems reasonable, and it was a great experience to feel a new movement targeting the younger generation. #Almost Shinjuku Noren Street #Sushinjuku Almost Shinjuku Noren Street #Yoyogi Gourmet #Yoyogi Izakaya #Yoyogi #Shinjuku Gourmet #Shinjuku Izakaya #Shinjuku #Izakaya #Drinking Street #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #Sushi #

Farewell parties have been happening one after another, which is unexpected for me, but I am truly grateful! Amidst all this, the people who have taken care of me at work gathered on a day off and treated me to a feast at such a stylish restaurant. I had heard through the grapevine about a fun area resembling a theme park for drinkers on the opposite side of the Oedo Line in Yoyogi, almost near Shinjuku, and it was even more modern and had a great atmosphere than I had imagined. We raised our glasses in the middle of the day and tried ordering beer using the trendy LINE ordering system. The creamy cheese-like appetizer that came out was so tasteful and well-presented. The contrast between the sake lees and cream cheese was just perfect. The sushi restaurant's potato fries are a highly sophisticated delicacy. They are seasoned with sushi vinegar, I wonder? You can only eat them here, and the playful touch is so enjoyable. We had fun sipping on a drink called "Gari Sour", a highball with lots of pickled ginger in it. The sweetness of the pickled ginger and that unique taste really complement the sushi. We ordered various sushi dishes as accompaniments and enjoyed them all. Whether it's sushi covered in crab mayo or a hidden gem with just kelp and wasabi, we played around with the flavors and everything was delicious and fun. When it comes to drinking, it's important to have a good time, and being able to laugh is more valuable than eating good food. We continued to enjoy sake and moved on to the second bar, having a fun and delicious time, truly feeling like we had a playful night out!
