Ehata at Kitano Hakuba-cho (Shimojicho-dori, Rokken-cho, Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto) ○ Selected as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants on Tabelog in 2022 ○ Namul ¥700, Raw tongue ¥1,200, Raw heart ¥900, Grilled tongue ¥1,400, Assorted grilled meats ¥1,200, Galanegi (Galbi and green onions) ¥1,200, Rice ¥300, Beer (large bottle) ¥900 Personal rating: ★4.2 A famous yakiniku restaurant in Kyoto. Finally visited! The nearest station is Kitano Hakuba-cho Station on the Keifuku Kitano Line, but it's about 1km away, so it's safer to visit by bus from the city. Arrived on Saturday around 5:10 PM. Was able to enter without waiting, but it was almost full! First, enjoyed raw tongue and raw heart sashimi with a bottle of beer. Both were fresh, without any unpleasant smell, and incredibly delicious!! The quality is so good that in Tokyo, they could easily charge around 2,000 yen. Next, grilled the tongue and assorted meats. The assorted meats included liver, heart, skirt, and tongue base. Especially the skirt was delicious with plenty of fat!! The style is mostly self-grilling, but occasionally the staff would check the cooking progress and give advice, or even grill for you. Lastly, tried the off-menu item Galanegi! Grilled galbi and mixed it with Kujyo green onions. The chewy and fatty galbi, combined with the fragrant Kujyo green onions, was incredibly delicious!! Note that the griddle gets burnt, so you must order Galanegi last. Most menu items are around 1,000 yen, so you can eat and drink to your heart's content without breaking the bank. This is the perfect place to enjoy fresh hormone sashimi, grilled meats, drink a lot, and have a satisfying meal! A must-visit restaurant when in Kyoto! #Ehata #EhataYakiniku #Gourmet #GourmetGram #WantToConnectWithGourmetLovers #Yakiniku #YakinikuGram #WantToConnectWithYakinikuLovers #Meat #MeatGram #PhotoGenicMeat #WantToConnectWithMeatLovers #Kyoto #KyotoGourmet #KyotoYakiniku #KitanoHakuba-cho #KitanoHakuba-choGourmet #KitanoHakuba-choYakiniku #Japan #Kyoto #Gourmet #JapaneseFood #Meat #Yakiniku
