Near the Matsuo Shrine, there is a cafe in a residential area. It was bustling with people with dogs and children. It was a beautiful sunny day, so I sat at the terrace seat. I ordered a "Coffee Float" for 700 yen (including 10% tax). It was delicious coffee with plenty of tasty soft serve ice cream. Perfect combination!

I found a coffee shop on Instagram, Young Trees Coffee. Opened in July 2022. Located in a residential area off the road in front of Matsuo Shrine. It's pretty quiet here. They have a deck and a visible sign. They have frequent days off, so make sure to check their Instagram. Inside the shop, there is a spacious area with a counter on the left for ordering. In addition to coffee, they also serve donuts and authentic grilled rice, giving it a cafe-like atmosphere. I ordered a latte. They also have a stamp card to value their regular customers. I sat down in a relaxed atmosphere. The latte was strong with a good espresso and milk foam. They also sell beans, so you can enjoy them at home too! It's a cafe behind Matsuo Shrine where you can relax on weekends.

There is a place where you can bring your dog with you when you visit the shrine for the New Year's visit called Matsuo Shrine. After the visit, you can relax and have tea at a dog-friendly cafe. It's great that they are open from January 1st. The Matsuo Shrine shopping street is lively, and it has become a popular spot for people with dogs.

I often bring my beloved dog Hachi to this pet-friendly store. Today, I was waiting for my wife here while my son had a check-up. I was drinking coffee when my wife arrived and she brought two donuts haha. She really showed her love for sweets! But these donuts here are not too sweet and really delicious! I could eat as many as I want! So good!

I moved a little further within the same area, but sometimes I like to visit this cafe! The indoor area is pet-friendly, which is perfect for my dogs in the middle of winter or summer. On this day, I enjoyed a hot cafe au lait and warmed up slowly with my beloved dog, Hachi. I can't wait to go back again soon. Cheers!

I can't believe such a wonderful cafe opened near Matsuo Shrine! It opened in July 2022. There are benches outside, and dogs are welcome. The interior is spacious with calming lighting. They also serve beer, but no light meals. They offer various types of donuts, pound cakes, and scones. I had a latte with oat milk, and the anko butter donut was delicious! This is a place I will definitely visit again.

I chose the strawberry milk donut, which is a pretty pink color and cute. It is soft and moist, with lots of air making it fluffy and light. Despite being a donut, it is not heavy and can be easily eaten. Inside, there is jam and white chocolate! It is sweet but not overly so, making it a perfect accompaniment to coffee.

Setagaya Line, in front of Matsunokami Shrine Station. In the shopping street, popular cafes and sweets shops line up, but this place is located in a narrow alley after passing in front of the shrine. Passing through the terraced seats with board coverings and entering the store, the very friendly shop owner greets you with "What type do you like?" They roast their own coffee, and a roasting machine is installed in a small room in the center of the store. Surprisingly, the interior is spacious with sofa seats, making it a very comfortable place to be. What I had on this day: 1. Hand drip coffee for 500 yen, where you can choose from 4 types. My preference, MELLOW BLEND, was unfortunately sold out. The shop owner kindly said, "I'll make it again soon." So, I chose TOSH BLEND, a Full City Roast with a faint sweetness and a floral aroma, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. 2. Chestnut pound cake for 450 yen, made with chestnuts grown in Honjo City, Saitama Prefecture without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, mixed with chestnut paste and simmered chestnuts. This was truly delicious, made by an acquaintance instead of being homemade. 3. Lemon cream donut for 370 yen, one of the 6 types of donuts available. It was delicious with a cream cheese filling made with lemon peel. Warm service, carefully brewed coffee, and a great atmosphere. This place had all the elements of a great cafe.

Just the other day, a cafe opened up behind the house where I used to live. I pass by it every day while walking my beloved dog, Hachi. I messaged them on Instagram to ask if pets are allowed on the terrace, and they said both the terrace and inside are pet-friendly! I went there right away and ordered an iced coffee with soft serve ice cream on top because I was in the mood for something sweet. My wife got a decaf with a donut, and I tried a bit of her pistachio donut - it was amazing! Even though it's a bit of a distance away, it's still on my regular walking route, so it feels like it's in the neighborhood. I'll definitely be going back soon! Ossu ossu!

I used to live near Matsuo Shrine about 20 years ago, and back then it was just a plain shopping street. But now, it has become a popular spot filled with trendy bakeries and cafes. Among them, the newly opened "Young Trees Coffee," or YTC for short, is a cafe where you can bring your dog. I visited while stopping by Matsuo Shrine. The spacious interior has tables and sofa seats scattered around. There are children's books in the air cargo inside the store. It's a cafe where you can spend a relaxing time.
