On June 23, Reiwa 5 (Friday), the 3107th place in Tokyo. Some months ago, this place was popular as a ramen production company opened a physical store there, but the taste didn't leave much of an impression on me. However, it wasn't bad, I think. The name of the shop was Takeloku Ramen, and I believe the owner's name was Sosuke Takeyama. I remember seeing the history of the shop written in the restroom, and I was somewhat surprised to see the nostalgic "Ramen Mutsumiya" mentioned. "Ramen Mutsumiya" was a very popular shop a little over 20 years ago, with many branches, and I myself visited several of them. However, the popularity declined, and the owner at that time ended up filing for bankruptcy (was it Sosuke Takeyama?). What I remember is that the taste varied depending on the branch, which was quite impressive. The taste after the change of owner at Ramen Mutsumiya was disappointing. There are reviews of the Komagome branch of Ramen Mutsumiya with various details. Now, I visited "Bamboo Curry," which opened on May 1, and all items were ¥200 off until the end of June, so I stopped by. I bought a meal ticket at the ticket vending machine, and the Hamburg Curry, which is normally ¥1000, was discounted to ¥800 for a limited time, and an extra ¥100 for extra spiciness. I chose brown rice instead of the default 350g of rice. By the way, you can also reduce the amount of rice to your liking, even with white rice. But since there are many students in the Takadanobaba area, there was a service where students could get a free extra large serving of rice by showing their student ID, about 500g, right? There was Fukujinzuke and special oil (like chili oil) on the table, so you could change the taste. Now, the Hamburg Curry has arrived. The curry was a dark type like Nanhai, with no spiciness at all, rather leaving a sweet taste. The ingredients were a few pieces of beef tendon and vegetables with visible shapes, topped with a hamburger. The curry was more of a Western style, but it had a unique retort smell that was a bit off-putting. The extra spiciness came in a can of spicy spice, so you could use as much as you liked, and when I sprinkled a lot, it became quite to my liking. The hamburger was not very meaty and had a lot of filler, so it was just okay. The 250g of brown rice was cooked firm like Delhi or Bombay, and it was delicious. Overall, if it's ¥800, I would eat it, but it will be ¥1000 from July, so it might be a bit expensive. Takadanobaba is also a fierce curry battleground, so it might be a tough competition.
