For me, a special place is The Peninsula Hotel. I always use The Peninsula Hotel for important occasions such as accommodation and meals. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant. While The Heifun Terrace is great, I personally love Peter's! I was introduced to this place by a senior about 10 years ago, and I used to frequent the bar often! Recently, I have been using the restaurant as well! Peter's charm lies in the night view, don't you think? Of course, even during lunchtime, the view of the Imperial Palace is amazing! The night view from the restroom is also great! The food is delicious, and the service is excellent! There is a variety of wines available, so wine lovers can also enjoy themselves! I highly recommend The Peninsula's private label champagne and wines! This is a place I definitely want to use for special occasions!

The Peninsula Tokyo has been awarded a 5-star rating for 7 consecutive years in the hotel category and 8 consecutive years in the spa category by the prestigious American magazine "Forbes Travel Guide 2022". The Peter Bar on the 24th floor, located next to "Peter" on the top floor, offers a variety of award-winning signature cocktails in a lovely atmosphere with beautiful lighting. The bar also provides a non-alcoholic selection called "The Zero Proof", which was strengthened in 2021. Despite being a favorite spot for many foreign visitors, this bar offers a great value for money considering the taste of the drinks, atmosphere, service, and overall experience.

Today is our wedding anniversary, so my wife and I went to Peter at Hibiya Peninsula. The table was fully booked, but we had made a reservation and were seated by the window with a view of the Imperial Palace. The service and atmosphere were both satisfying. The appetizer of amberjack carpaccio, the low-temperature cooked beef steak, and the peach dessert were all delicious without a doubt. Thank you for the wonderful meal. We will definitely come back.

I visited for lunch on a weekday. The portion may look small, but it was surprisingly filling. This was my second visit, and I think the weekday lunch is a good deal. The food is delicious, and the view is amazing, especially on sunny days. The service was also excellent. I will visit again.

I visited the bar on the top floor of the Peninsula Hotel after a meal. I usually drink a lot, but since it's a hotel bar, the cocktail staff were all very friendly and I had a great time in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I took the elevator directly connected to the subway station and aimed for the 24th floor. When I got off the elevator, I found myself in a somewhat bubbly world. The view was amazing, with a clear view of Hibiya Park and the Imperial Palace Outer Garden, creating a serene atmosphere. I was invited to Peninsula Hotel's "Peter" restaurant. I had visited before the pandemic (before starting my food blog), so this was my second visit. This review is my first. The course included 3 dishes with free-flowing champagne, perfect for those who enjoy drinking a lot. The course included an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert for 6,700 yen (excluding tax). The appetizer was Artisan Ringuine Pancetta with new onions, pecorino cheese, and tomatoes. The dessert was included, along with drinks. The view was great, and the atmosphere was luxurious. I appreciated the hospitality of the staff. I think this restaurant is recommended for young women. I hope that the damage from the typhoon and the disaster in Maui does not spread further. Thank you for the meal. ❤️

The bar is spacious and has a nice atmosphere. It could be seen as a bit flashy, but in a good way. Even though it was Monday night, there were a lot of people. Hidden gem bars are nice, but this kind of atmosphere can be wonderful once in a while. Dress up and give it a try.

After dining with friends, we went to Peter. I was a little interested since I visited the wedding venue, but unfortunately the food was already finished before 10pm. I wanted to eat meat, but it was disappointing. We decided to have cocktails instead and started getting into our usual mischief. A group of heavy drinkers appeared and started ordering shots of Grey Goose. I had never ordered shots at a hotel bar before, but I was impressed by how they were served in stylish glasses. At 38,000 yen for a bottle of Grey Goose, it was indeed expensive, so we each had two shots in a row. Thanks to that, my cold hasn't gotten any better. It was cool to be treated by the Hatakeyama comedians. The high-end hotel restroom always gets me excited. Thank you for the meal. Next time, I would like to eat some food as well.

I have come for a drink at night before, but this was my first time having lunch here. The spacious interior with sunlight streaming in through the large windows presents a different charm. Despite being almost full, I was able to relax and enjoy a leisurely time. The original salad for the first appetizer was delicious with a tasty dressing and crisp vegetables. The second appetizer was horse meat tartare with a rich demi-glace flavor. The main dish was a tender lamp meat cooked to perfection. The accompanying eggplant, pea shoots, and myoga added a nice touch without feeling too greasy. The dessert was a refreshing mousse, perfect for summer. The taste was impeccable and the presentation was sophisticated, making it a delightful experience. Peninsula truly lives up to its reputation. I look forward to visiting again on a special occasion.

This is a restaurant & BAR located on the top floor of the Peninsula Hotel. It is a wonderful place that is versatile, serving lunch, tea time, dinner, and bar time with high quality. The food and tea are excellent, and the variety of drinks is rich and impressive. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and the staff's service is excellent. To put it simply, it is an amazing restaurant!

Visited for a birthday celebration. It is recommended to make a reservation for the time when the sunset is beautiful. The food was very delicious and the staff's service was also very satisfying. However, the prices were a bit too high. It felt like a restaurant for entertaining clients, and for individuals, it seemed quite expensive. It felt like a place to take overseas guests for business entertainment.

I revisited Peter, where the balance between the night view and the food is perfect! This time, I visited with three people, and one person was free with the Amex discount. Last time, it was still during the pandemic, so overall there was a cost increase of more than 20%, which felt a bit pricey. For example, the delicious homemade beer went up to the limit of 1,900 yen from 1,500 yen, but it's tasty! The shrimp bisque soup was also an additional 2,000 yen, so I passed on it this time. It's a satisfying dish on its own, but the location is perfect, so even though the cost performance has decreased, it's probably fine for those visiting for the first time. The neighboring bar is also stylish, a place I'd like to try if traveling alone.

Visited for drinks only. The interior of the bar had a seductive atmosphere with pink and purple colors. There were many guests who seemed like hotel guests, creating a relaxed ambiance. I was seated at a sofa by the window where I could see the night view. The menu had many options, but I chose the recent award-winning "Kazukiyo" cocktail (2,800 yen) which had a gin base with mandarin juice, yuzu juice, and a hint of herbs, and it was very delicious. There were also signature cocktails on the menu, making it hard to choose. The staff were very friendly and provided explanations of the menu, understanding my indecisiveness and recommending the cocktail. It was my first time visiting, but I felt very comfortable in the nice atmosphere. I would like to go again.

About a 7-minute walk from Ginza Station on the Marunouchi Line, I arrived at Steak & Grill "Peter" located on the 24th floor of The Peninsula Tokyo. There is a dedicated elevator to the 24th floor (regular elevators go up to the 23rd floor), a bit hidden and hard to find on your own, but with help from the front desk, I finally made it. On the 24th floor, there is a bar and a restaurant in addition to the lobby. Today, I enjoyed the following course at the restaurant:
- Appetizer: Carpaccio of Ehime tuna with avocado wasabi mayonnaise, Japanese condiments, and roasted seaweed
- Soup: Hokkaido corn soup with dried corn and poulard/wazette
- Fish dish: Fried Hokkaido scallops with baba ghanoush and red miso yogurt
- Meat dish: Grilled domestic beef sirloin
- Dessert: The Peninsula mango pudding with coconut ice cream
- Coffee
- Champagne
- Mineral water
- Bread
The background music consisted mainly of 70s and 80s Western music, creating a somewhat casual atmosphere that didn't quite match the restaurant's ambiance. The service was good, with a polite male server who left a positive impression. The night view in front of me was of the Imperial Palace, with the Shinjuku skyscrapers in the distance. The Hokkaido scallops were perfectly cooked, and the sauce made with eggplant was delicious. As I was enjoying my meal, I suddenly heard someone say, "Happy birthday!" I thought someone else was being celebrated, but then I realized, "Wait! It's my birthday today too!" (laughs) I had completely forgotten. I don't want to get older, but it was a nice birthday dinner celebrating alone.

BAR Peter at The Peninsula Tokyo. A bar I visit when I want to clear my head. The night view is beautiful, and I often come here to slowly enjoy a drink and organize my thoughts. It was crowded with many people on this day. The view is great and it's a classy bar. Recommended for going alone, on a date, or for a girls' night out.

A calm and stylish space with a sophisticated atmosphere. Even if you're not a fan of alcohol, you can enjoy selected teas while taking in the fantastic city views. Conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Yurakucho Station. Perfect for special occasions with loved ones, business meetings, anniversaries, and entertaining guests. ♡

I visited for lunch and had a simple course meal with appetizer, main course, and dessert. The portions were generous and I left feeling full! The carpaccio appetizer was a bit bland, but the bread and butter were delicious. I chose the wagyu burger for the main course and it was a hit! The crispy potatoes, buns, meat, and sauce were all to my liking. The dessert, simply named "Orange," was surprisingly fantastic in flavor. Peninsula Hotel truly pays attention to detail in both presentation and taste. Thank you for the meal.

I forgot to take a picture of the main dish. The interior and atmosphere of the restaurant were very nice. I felt dizzy that day and couldn't fully enjoy the meal, so I will refrain from commenting on the food. The air conditioning was too cold in my seating area, but they provided a blanket and adjusted the temperature slightly. However, it got cold again during dessert time. It may have been too warm for others around me. The window seats offer a beautiful view but they seem to be directly in the path of the air conditioning, so if you're sensitive to cold, it's better to avoid those seats.

Enjoying the beautiful space at Peninsula Tokyo, I decided not to go back to the final act (lol). Dinner begins at Peter on the top floor of The Peninsula Tokyo with a guaranteed window seat anniversary plan. Cheers with champagne. Actually, a group of foreign women with a strong perfume came to sit next to us, but they were quickly moved to another table. Then, a super handsome sommelier chief took care of us, adding a mini bouquet and photo service to celebrate. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience!

I went to see a movie in Hibiya and made a reservation here. I purchased a discounted coupon for a restaurant ticket on au Market when it became available. It was nice to be able to choose from a wide variety of drinks, with one drink included. The food was also satisfying with both quality and quantity.

"Peter" is the main dining restaurant at The Peninsula Tokyo. Located on the 24th floor, guests can enjoy views of Hibiya Park and the Imperial Palace Outer Gardens. The restaurant has a contemporary and stylish atmosphere with a purple color scheme. The layout includes a bar lounge near the entrance and the main dining area at the back. The back area features special seating with window views and sofa seats. The drink menu includes a variety of cocktails, wines, and liqueurs, with slightly fewer options during cafe hours. One recommended cocktail is the "Little Page Boy," a playful drink inspired by the hotel's page boy symbol and made with Japanese gin and elderflower liqueur, topped with ramune soda. The cocktail is served in a wine glass, enhancing the aroma and overall experience. While The Lobby is known for its popular afternoon tea, which can get crowded and fully booked, "Peter" offers a unique and open space with original cocktails to enjoy instead."
