Neighboring sweets shop of the Chinese restaurant Kurakuan, part of the same series. I occasionally visit as there are few sweets shops in this area, but this is my first review. ⚪︎ Chantilly Saison Shortcake ⚪︎ Mont Blanc Japonais made with chestnuts from Tsukuba ⚪︎ Borme Le Mimosa with citrus jelly and mascarpone mousse

On the way back from Kurakuan, I made a detour and got 8 cakes to go. The citrus jelly and mascarpone mousse mimosa, blackcurrant cake, shortcake, and raspberry chocolate were all cakes that I really loved! The other cakes were also well received. The quality is high!

My husband brought home some madeleines and financiers. They were delicious. I especially liked the madeleines with a stronger lemon scent than usual. The sablés also looked delicious. The Shiba Inu marshmallows with chocolate chips were too cute to eat.

In Tamachi, there is a precious cake shop. They have cute-sized cakes lined up. I love shortcake and I eat it often, it's always delicious. It's just sweet enough and the strawberries are sweet too. It goes well with coffee or tea. They also have baked goods in the store, and they were delicious too. Overall, the prices are reasonable for the location and it's a very lovely cake shop.

[Date] Visited alone on a weekday at 6:00 pm. [Reservation] Not made. Purchased without waiting. The place can get crowded depending on the timing, but I was able to buy without waiting. [Location] Excellent access, just a 3-minute walk from Tamachi Station. [Interior] Only a takeout counter. [Order] Financier and Madeleine, as I heard that their baked sweets are delicious. They were indeed delicious! The buttery aroma was strong, and the texture was moist. It was irresistible. It went perfectly with coffee. Thank you for the meal! [Service] The staff were efficient and friendly. [Final thoughts] The financier is a must-try with a strong buttery aroma!--------------Instagram: somako_16. Emerald for 700 yen. Mont Blanc Japonais for 650 yen. Chantilly Saison for 650 yen. Kurawan's Patisserie. This neighborhood doesn't have any dessert shops, so it's quite precious. Old-fashioned visuals and flavors. Despite being small, the prices are set quite high.

I bought some cakes to have tea around 3 p.m. on a holiday. I made sure to follow infection prevention measures and waited outside as there was a customer ahead of me. The cakes I purchased were:
- Shanti Saison Raisin Tart
- Tarte Tatin
- Tarte Fruité
- Lime, Basil, and Mint Tart
The Shanti Saison Raisin Tart had a firm texture with grape pulp, providing a strong sweetness that didn't get overshadowed by the cream. It seemed to be a combination of Shine Muscat and Nagano Purple grapes.
The Tarte Tatin was rich in the flavor of a single apple, maintaining a refreshing taste as well. It was quite delicious.
The Tarte Fruité, as a seasonal fruit tart, featured persimmons and grapes at this time of year. It had a mild sweetness and was refreshing.
The Lime, Basil, and Mint Tart was quite unique. The lime and mint espuma provided a good acidity, combined with the basil sauce for a distinctive and refreshing flavor. This one might be divisive in terms of taste preferences, but it could be interesting to pair it with other cakes.

Cute sweets to take out♪ The case at a French pastry shop in Shibaura is filled with adorable cakes. According to the outdoor sign, the pastry chef from the Chinese restaurant Kurakawan in Shibaura is the one making them. On this day, I purchased some baked goods as a companion for remote work. It is said that a little refreshment is necessary when feeling stuck. The baked goods included bear-shaped madeleines and cookies, and recently, cookie tins have also appeared. They are perfect for small gifts or expressions of gratitude. In the cake case, there are lovely cakes and Peach Melba? Eclairs and puddings are also lined up coolly. On this day, I bought Chocolate Scones and Chocolate Galette Bretonne. The scones (with chocolate chips and tea) were satisfying, and the Earl Grey scone on this day was delicious. The galette had a richness from the cocoa and butter used in it. Refreshment complete! #Thank you for the meal♪

Located on the seaside of Shibaura in Minato Ward, near Tamachi Station, is a sweets shop. The shop is said to have a connection with a Chinese restaurant according to their website. Among their selection of baked and fresh sweets, I was drawn to their cakes displayed in a refrigerated showcase. After contemplating over around 10 different cakes, I decided to go with the "Caramel Sale," their popular choice priced at 570 yen including tax. I made a cashless payment, declined the offer of a paid shopping bag, and carried the cake home in a palm-sized paper box. Later, as a dessert for dinner, I enjoyed the flavors of nuts, caramel, and chocolate in this small cake.

A lovely cake shop♡ I went early in the morning and there were already a few customers! It feels like a popular cake shop in town. Among the various cakes on display, the petit gateau and dog cake caught my eye. The cake here has banana and caramel, and it's delicious! It's sweet but slightly less sweet. I want to try other cakes too! I'll visit again!

Too cute sweets to take out♪ In the case of a French pastry shop in Shibaura, there are many adorable cakes. The colorful one-bite size Guimauve (marshmallow), cookies, and bear-shaped Madeleines are perfect for small gifts or thank-you gestures. They are usually well received as gifts for various occasions. The cakes seem to focus on cocoa and have a stylish appearance, including decorative cakes. They also offer Chou a la Creme, pudding, homemade scones, and more, making it a great place to treat yourself. The sign outside says that the pastry chef from the Chinese restaurant Kurakuwan in Shibaura is behind these delightful creations. Personally, I love their homemade Chocolate Scones. The crispy texture of the dough with just the right amount of chocolate scattered throughout is not too sweet, making you crave for more. Although I'm not a fan of sweet treats, I would definitely go back for these. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the scones. Recently, the cupcakes were incredibly cute. The strawberry cupcake with raspberry jam exudes a spring-like feel, bringing a sense of happiness. • Strawberry Cupcake (with raspberry jam) • Banana Caramel Cupcake (with bananas) each priced at 380 yen. Currently, due to COVID-19 measures, only up to 2 people are allowed inside the shop, so there may be a short wait at times.

A small cake shop located in a corner of the shopping street on the Shibaura side of JR Tamachi Station. It is a take-out only shop. I bought the Crème Caramel. The Crème Caramel is in a transparent cup, it is a pudding. The pudding is firm when you put a spoon in it, but it has a smooth texture when you eat it. It has a light sweetness and a good taste of eggs.

On a Sunday afternoon, I was in the mood for something sweet, so I decided to stop by "Patisserie Paul Sans Sale". The shop was small and cozy, with a variety of cakes displayed in the showcase. I couldn't decide which one to get, but this time I chose the macarons! A pack of 5 macarons cost 1500 yen. When I got home and tried them, they tasted pretty good. They were a bit on the small side though. I hope to try their cakes next time I visit.

I love the tarts here and come here occasionally. They only offer takeout, no eat-in option, and there is no parking space around so it's a shop mainly for local residents. The strawberry tart and Mont Blanc tart are especially delicious! The tart crust is not dry or crumbly, it's really tasty. The mousse is relatively light and has a good texture, even though I wasn't a fan of mousse before, I started liking it after trying theirs. The cakes are generally small, about the size of regular cupcakes. If you prefer big cakes with a substantial bite, this shop may not be for you. On the other hand, if you like to try different varieties and enjoy high-quality snacks, this shop is a good match for you. During Christmas, they also offer Christmas cakes for pre-order, with several options available. The 2018 Christmas shortcake looked like something children would enjoy. The shop has a stylish atmosphere and is welcoming to families with children living nearby.

This is a cake shop run by a pastry chef who trained in Brittany. It's been open for a while now, located a short walk from JR Tamachi Station, Shibaura Exit. The shop only sells cakes and does not have seating for eating in. I bought the Lemon Tart Cheese Cake. The Lemon Tart is a lemon cake with a crispy base, rich lemon cream, and whipped cream. The lemon cream is quite tangy and refreshing. The Cheese Cake, whose exact name I forgot, has two layers - a milky whipped cream on top and a two-layered cheese cake. The top layer is fluffy like a souffle, while the bottom layer is moist. The cheese flavor is subtle, giving it a light and refreshing taste.

Tamachi/Shibaura area is full of chain izakayas and old-fashioned eateries, making it hard to find a place that stands out. However, "Patisserie Paul Sans Seul" is a rare gem in Shibaura, run by a pastry chef who used to work at the stylish and delicious Chinese restaurant "Kurakuwan". I always loved the desserts at "Kurakuwan", so I was thrilled to discover this place. The shop has a simple and stylish black-themed interior, which is a refreshing change from the usual noisy atmosphere of Shibaura. The desserts may be small, but each one is delicious and satisfying. I hope this wonderful patisserie continues to thrive in the Shibaura area for a long time.

Recently opened cake shop in Tamachi station where cake shops are hard to come by! A rare find! I was surprised by the stylish exterior. I really like the chic vibe. I bought four types of cakes: Chantilly, Saison, Tumaco 70%, and M Road, as well as Chocolat Framboise. They also had macarons, cookies, pound cakes, and larger cakes. There was also a limited-time Galette des Rois ♡ They were all delicious, but the Tumaco 70% with a rare cocoa ganache from "Cacao Hunter" was the most delicious! The price was also reasonable at 500 yen. I want to try the other cakes too!

I visited Kurakuwan and purchased a celebratory cake. This cake shop may be quietly tucked away, but it offers high-quality Chinese restaurant-level cakes in Minato Ward, providing a sense of security at a very reasonable price. Their baked goods are also extensive and unique, making them a rare find that would be appreciated as seasonal greetings or gifts.
