I went to a chanpon restaurant. I arrived a little early for lunch, around 11 o'clock. It wasn't crowded yet, so I was able to get in easily. The taste was rich and flavorful, with a thick texture, very delicious. They also offer a set menu with rice, but the portion was generous so I was satisfied with ordering just the main dish.

Shishirin Chanpon Set for 1,150 yen. The set comes with a mini beef tendon roux rice. It was served in just 5 minutes. The roux rice had a mild flavor that would appeal to everyone, but I was hoping for a more distinctive taste. The chanpon had plenty of ingredients, and when I took the first sip of the soup, I was impressed by how delicious it was! However, the noodles were soft. Maybe this softness is normal for chanpon noodles. Come to think of it, it's been years since I last had chanpon outside. Thanks for the meal!

I visited the restaurant "Shishirin" with a rating of 3.05 on Tabelog. It is located at the intersection in Ningyocho, on the third floor of a dining street with four shops. During the day, they serve champon noodles, and at night, it turns into a Chinese bar. The champon noodles have a tonkotsu base and you can choose between soft thick noodles and thin fried noodles. The dishes like "Pari Pari Plate Udon" and "Beef Tendon Roux Rice with Vegetables" are delicious and definitely a step above other champon noodles I've tried. The restaurant is located near the company. It is on the 3rd floor of a complex building called "Hashigo-ro" that recently opened at the Ningyocho intersection. You can overlook the Ningyocho intersection from the window seats, which seems to be pleasant especially at night. I went there around 12:10 on a weekday and was seated without having to wait. I ordered the "sara udon" (900 yen). I was torn between champon and sara udon, but since it was a hot day, I chose sara udon. It was nicely crispy and as the sauce soaked in, it gradually became soft. It's a proper sara udon. If you think about the price of 900 yen, considering the recent rise in prices, it seems reasonable.

Located at the Ningyocho intersection, Hashigorou has opened its doors. On the third floor is Shishirin. The mild soup, emulsified, with a taste reminiscent of walnut paste, is delightful. I really like it. The prices are reasonable, so I will definitely be going back in the future. (for some reason, I sound important ===========)

A new restaurant located on the third floor of Hashigo-ro, next to Ningyocho Intersection. I visited around 12:10 pm and there was a short wait, but I was seated at a shared table within about 5 minutes. The layout of the restaurant includes a counter, two tables for four, and two tables for two. Orders are placed through a QR code and payment is cashless. For my first visit, I ordered the popular "Shirin Chanpon" for 900 yen. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The taste of the Chanpon soup was authentic, a bit salty for my liking, but when I added some pepper, it balanced out nicely. Next time, I want to try the grilled Chanpon.

Tokyo: Ningyocho "Shishirin" This restaurant is located in Ningyocho Hashigo-ro, a famous Chinese restaurant in Ningyocho. I visited a new landmark in Ningyocho called "Hashigo-ro," where a delicious champon restaurant opened. It was my first time there, so I ordered the classic champon. The soup was pork bone-based but not too heavy, which I liked. It was filled with plenty of seafood and vegetables, making it healthy. The noodles were on the softer side, and although I prefer firmer noodles, I wondered if champon noodles are supposed to be this way. I'm not sure if they would frown upon a request for firmer noodles. The addition of the flavorful luohan octagon in the set was a nice touch, and I'm interested in trying their authentic dumplings and other appetizers. They have a variety of delicious noodles on the menu, so I would like to revisit for dinner. The set menu options also seemed appealing. The restaurant can get quite crowded at times. Finding a place where you can have lunch for under 1,000 yen in this area is rare and valuable.

I visited a new "chanpon" restaurant in the Emz Cross area, which was not present in Ningyocho neighborhood. I arrived a little early for lunch time and was able to sit at the counter without waiting. I ordered the famous Kobe dish "sara udon," "lurou fan," and a bottle of beer. However, the beer was not cold, which was disappointing. The lurou fan came first, and it had a lot of pickled vegetables, mainly mustard greens, but the aroma of star anise was strong and I enjoyed the taste. I wished there was more meat in it. The sara udon was rich and creamy, but not overpowering, with plenty of ingredients and delicious. It truly lived up to being selected as one of Kobe's top restaurants.

In July 2023, I had dinner in Ningyocho. I visited a new building called "Hashigo-ro" near the Ningyocho intersection, which had just opened on July 6, 2023. The building is part of the HASHIGO PROJECT, a place where you can enjoy food and drinks. I struggled to find a restaurant with available seats, but finally found a place called "Shishirin" on the 3rd floor. They specialize in Nagasaki Chanpon and other Chinese dishes. I ordered a set with lemon sour, and had some appetizers, pickled vegetables, homemade dumplings, a highball, and finally the Shishirin Chanpon. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively. Overall, it was a great dining experience in Ningyocho.

The restaurant is relatively reasonable and good. It was disappointing to find that some of the dishes listed on the menu displayed outside the shop were not actually available when I visited as the fourth stop on my food hopping journey.

Aprons are desired by bored women, especially those dining alone at the counter, so attracting 50% of customers to the facility as a whole is crucial. The upper floors are particularly challenging. Recommended dish: plate udon. Slight discomfort with Chinese cuisine, but cleanliness and beer quality are good. A pleasant live atmosphere in the open kitchen, but lacking a sense of unity throughout the establishment makes it difficult for the alley to succeed. Everything feels half-hearted, with dishes lacking in saltiness, leading to leftovers.
