My daughter requested a Happy Meal for lunch today. I blame Licca-chan for this (bitter smile). How many Licca-chan dolls does she have now? She ate everything properly, so it's not like she was just lured by the toy... I want to believe that. The small fries were not enough, so she also reached for the Mega Fries from Popo-san (bitter smile)... My 7-year-old daughter and her eating capacity are a good match...

(Visit on August 27, 2018) On this day, before picking up my wife at Haneda Airport, I stopped by to have dinner by myself and to adjust the time. First, I had soba at Ora ga Soba and watched the line while eating. After finishing my meal and the line disappeared, I decided to use McDonald's for the first time in a while. As I was about to line up at the front of the line, a staff member who was available immediately opened a register and I was able to place my order. I ordered a large size of McDonald's fries for 150 yen and paid with d POINT. It was surprisingly easy to use d POINT for the first time. I was given a buzzer and had to wait for a while. This means I can have freshly fried fries, right? Yay! After a short wait, the buzzer rang. I went to pick up my order and started eating right away. I feel like McDonald's fries used to be saltier in the past, but now they have a lighter taste. I also remember the fries used to be longer and more uniform in size. Although it may be rude to say, there are quite a few shorter pieces that are shorter than Jagariko. The taste hasn't changed, but it feels like it has changed a lot from the past. Is this due to cost-cutting measures? Or is it a sense of waste? However, considering that I could get freshly made and hot fries for 150 yen including tax, I am satisfied. Thank you for the meal.
