I went to a highly rated yakiniku restaurant, but they were not open for lunch. They seem to be closed until the end of September and will start in October. I decided to go to a different restaurant. This restaurant also occasionally closes for lunch, but today they had the menu placed in front of the stairs. It seems like a very popular place, but everyone confidently went down the stairs. I was looking for a menu with a lot of grams for kalbi, and I found a limited quantity of Wagyu cut-off 150g for 1900 yen. I was debating between the Wagyu kalbi lunch for 1480 yen or adding extra meat for 650 yen, but I decided on the limited quantity option. Luckily, there were still some left when I ordered. The restaurant was lively with both solo customers and groups of about four. They offer free rice refills with set meals, but unfortunately, you can't get seconds of the wakame soup. The pickles were a bit lacking, but the kimchi was delicious with a mild spice and sweetness. The Wagyu cut-off pieces were uneven in size and thickness, but they were all delicious and seemed carefully selected for their sweetness. I was satisfied with the cheap kalbi from other yakiniku restaurants, but after tasting this Wagyu, I no longer have the desire to eat cooked lunches. It's worth eating Wagyu within your budget. As solo yakiniku dining is gaining popularity, I don't think it causes any inconvenience to the restaurant staff. This restaurant has many tables, so you can enter without waiting and feel comfortable using the spacious dining area. I won't forget the taste of the meat today.

I visited this restaurant for lunch with a colleague. We couldn't get into our usual spot due to the long line, so we stumbled upon this place by chance. We didn't check reviews on websites like Tabelog, we just went in. We ordered the daily lunch special: 130g of black Wagyu beef and 30g of tongue salt for ¥2,000. The meal came with free rice refills and dessert at the end, so we were very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Celebrating 250 shops with a special lunch at Yakiniku Okuu. The domestic beef kalbi lunch for 1250 yen was delicious, simply delicious. The yakiniku at a good yakiniku restaurant is always tasty. The sauce is also exquisitely delicious. You could eat just the sauce with rice. On Tuesdays, exclusive for app members, we received a special small dish, maybe beef tail stew. This was also delicious. And to top it off, we were served almond jelly. Perfect service from start to finish. Bliss.

I visited for the first time today. The service lunch included 150g of beef cutlet and 3 pieces of beef tongue. I wanted to try both, so I chose the 2000 yen service lunch. I started with the beef tongue, but it was not great. The taste and quality were a bit lacking. The beef cutlet, on the other hand, was delicious. The fat was sweet, and both the quantity and quality were good. It would have been nice to have a bit more kimchi. Maybe it's just because it's in Minato Ward?

Visited around 1pm on a holiday. The restaurant was quite busy, but no waiting time. Ordered the Wagyu Kalbi Lunch (meat special) and the Domestic Beef Harami Lunch. The presentation was amazing as always, so vibrant without any processing. The flavors were already so delicious! The Kalbi had two types of cuts, lean and marbled, which was enjoyable. The Harami was a bit chewy, but still within an acceptable range if you like meaty textures. Also tried the Seafood Stone Bibimbap, which had plenty of scallops and squid. The dish was not seasoned with sauce, just a salty flavor. Since there was no egg, it felt more like fried rice. It might be refreshing for those who prefer lighter flavors! As I was leaving, the staff made it clear that it was time to go, which made me a bit nervous. Sorry about that. The meat was delicious, so I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal!

There are no particular features, but I thought the cost performance was good. It was my first time, so I asked the staff for recommendations and ordered top tongue, top sirloin, top kalbi, etc. It was simply delicious. I also had kimchi jeon with cheese. The restaurant was clean and the service from the staff was polite, which I appreciated.

I visited this restaurant located right near Shinbashi Station. I realized that I haven't written a review even though I've been coming here for lunch for the past 1-2 years, so I wanted to introduce it now (lol). As I descended the stairs to the basement and entered the restaurant, it was packed with customers! The popularity of this place is still evident. This time, I used a private room for a business meeting. The lunch menu at this restaurant includes a variety of options from reasonable to slightly more voluminous, but this time I tried a different Anti-Aging menu. The reason being, I had the opportunity to dine with the company president who provides the main ingredient "Inutouki (a plant that is very good for nourishing and beautifying)" used in this Anti-Aging menu. The course I had this time included: Anti-Aging Course - around ¥4,000? - Homemade Kimchi Platter (with 5-year-old Inutouki) - Today's carefully selected salt-grilled dish (with 5-year-old Inutouki) - Beef tongue, Ichibo?, and another type (forgot...) - Salad - Beef tail and bean sprout soup (with 5-year-old Inutouki) - Two types of grilled dishes with sauce - Kalbi, lamp? - Dessert - Rice - Dessert - Inutouki tea Total: around ¥16,000 *Number of people: 4 The menu this time is a special course that includes dishes kneaded with "Inutouki powder" and Inutouki tea. Since this menu is probably not listed, if you are interested, please ask the staff (including the price). All the meats were thick, tender, and satisfying to eat. Especially the salt-grilled beef tongue was my favorite thickness, not too thin or too thick, just right! Easy to grill, yet thick enough to feel satisfied! And of course, it was delicious! The grilled dishes were dipped in a sauce with egg yolk, and enjoyed with rolling rice. Each bite was a moment of bliss! The sauce with Inutouki (estimated) made it guilt-free and good for beauty and health! Grilled meat for lunch is the best (lol). It's very recommended for those who want to enjoy tender and satisfying Yamagata beef, as it's conveniently located near Shinbashi Station. They also have more affordable lunch courses that are highly recommended, making it a wonderful restaurant overall.

I visited this restaurant because it was eligible for PayPay in Minato Ward. I ordered the special serving of wagyu kalbi lunch and a large serving of roast beef. It came with rice, salad, and kimchi. The portions were generous and delicious. We were able to use a private room, which was great for my family.

In conclusion, I was very satisfied. I visited without a reservation and luckily there was a cancellation so I was able to dine in. The prices were reasonable and the food was very delicious. The plate with a mix of harami and loin was irresistible for meat lovers. I ordered Morioka cold noodles as a finishing touch, which left my mouth feeling refreshed.

I attended a farewell party for a colleague's transfer for the first time. It was a restaurant where the goodness of meat was easy to understand. It was a private room, but surprisingly spacious for a yakiniku restaurant, and I ended up staying longer than planned. Still, it ended up being around 8,000 yen, so I think it's a cost-effective restaurant. It's near my company, so I will definitely go again.

Today, I went to "Okuu" in Shinbashi for lunch because I wanted to eat yakiniku. I ordered the limited cut lunch set, and it was very satisfying. The meat had just the right amount of fat, and since it was cut into small pieces, it was easy to eat. It was around 2000 yen, but considering the quality of the meat, it was worth it. I would love to come back for lunch again!

I wanted to eat meat. Gradually, I have shifted from all-you-can-eat to focusing on quality and not making excuses anymore. Since I am dining alone, I would be happy to eat good meat for around 2000 yen for lunch. I ordered the Wagyu beef lunch set for 1900 yen, which came with soup, salad, kimchi, almond jelly, and rice that you can refill. It felt like a work lunch, but there were three good points: ① The portion of 150g was quite generous. As you can see in the picture, the meat slices were thick and cooked to a crispy surface with a medium rare inside, which was delicious. Even though I cooked the thin meat slices thoroughly, they were still tender. I'm happy to have eaten good meat after a long time. I'm becoming less able to eat fatty meat as I get older, so I would like to try the sirloin or kalbi lunch next time. ② The rice was delicious. Good rice is important for yakiniku, and upon researching, I found out that they use carefully selected Koshihikari rice from Toyama Prefecture. ③ The atmosphere was great. In one word, I would say it's a place suitable for a date. There was a proper distance between tables, slightly dim lighting (in a good way!), and the restroom was clean. Overall, I felt that they understood the needs of their customers well.

A restaurant located between Uchisaiwaicho and Shinbashi. The impression upon entering the store is clean and luxurious. Let's start the yakiniku feast. We ordered Namul, Kimchi, salad, and simmered beef tendon, and toasted with beer! Delicious. We also ordered the Yamagata beef upper kalbi, upper tongue, and recommended platter from the menu. The Yamagata beef upper kalbi is amazing. It's thin, so it's best to eat it slightly rare without overcooking. The high-quality fat spreads in your mouth and makes your brain cells go crazy. After cooling down with hormone yaki, we finished with cold noodles, kuppe, and stone bibimbap. The cost performance is a bit iffy, and the push to order the expensive items was not great.

I visited at 12:00 for the Yamagata beef premium lunch. Please note that for private room reservations, you can only order menu items that are 2000 yen or more. I ordered the premium set meal. Each part was exquisite as expected from the premium quality. The marbled Kalbi and Zabuton melted in my mouth with a sweet taste. The flavorful rump meat was also delicious. Despite being thickly cut, it was moist and tender without being dry. Each slice was large and thick, providing a satisfying amount. The sauce provided was only grated ponzu, but you could request a regular sauce as well. The rice was shiny and had just the right firmness. It was a very fulfilling lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I post various gourmet videos on Instagram and YouTube, so I would be happy if you could check them out from the link on my profile page! A yakiniku restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Japanese beef! It is located a 3-minute walk from Shinbashi Station Ginza Exit. I went there for lunch on a holiday recently. The menu has a wide variety of choices. So, as a treat to myself, I ordered the "Japanese beef kalbi comparison set"! It was a luxurious set where you can enjoy 3 types of kalbi. The set included kalbi, soup, salad, kimchi, rice, and dessert (annin tofu). The three types of kalbi that day were Yamagata beef sirloin, kalbi, and otoro kalbi. The slices were surprisingly large! The taste was beyond imagination, a different level of deliciousness compared to the usual kalbi. Personally, my favorite was the kalbi. The meat was very tender, with a perfect balance of umami from the lean meat and just the right amount of fat. I would like to challenge the "limited quantity Japanese beef offal lunch" next time, as it seems to be popular! The interior of the restaurant is very clean, with ample space between seats, making it a comfortable dining experience. It is recommended for when you want to splurge a little and enjoy high-quality meat. If you are nearby, be sure to visit!【SNS】I also post videos on Instagram and YouTube, so I would be happy if you could check them out from the link on my profile page. ▶Instagram: @coco_tokyo_gourmet ▶YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEDdFalivbDOamdgg_FcNSA ▶Google Maps: Coco's Tokyo Gourmet

Food Log 3.44 ✍️ Yakiniku Okuu Shinbashi Branch Shinbashi Wagyu Kalbi Lunch ¥1480 + Extra Meat ¥650 On this day, I headed to Yakiniku Okuu in Shinbashi for lunch. This restaurant, known as Yakiniku Okuu Shinbashi Branch, opened in March 2011 and has been a popular spot in the competitive Yakiniku scene in Shinbashi for over 10 years. * Yakiniku Okuu has a total of 5 locations: the main store in Yokohama, GEMS Shin-Yokohama Branch, Totsuka Branch, Fujisawa Branch, and Shinbashi Branch. The restaurant offers a calm atmosphere and serves carefully selected Wagyu such as A5 Yamagata Selection certified Yamagata beef, Satsuma beef, Miyazaki beef, etc. at reasonable prices. According to their website, Yakiniku Okuu is known for providing "safe and delicious beef that has passed the world's most stringent inspections." The quality is truly exceptional. Although Food Log states that it is a 5-minute walk from Shinbashi Station, I arrived in just 3 minutes (at 1:20 PM) and was immediately guided to a private room at the back. There is a high cost-performance menu option of Domestic Beef Kalbi Lunch for ¥1100, but I opted for the Wagyu Kalbi Lunch with extra meat. The dish arrived in about 5 minutes and the appearance was beautiful with a decent thickness. It had a good balance of slightly lean and marbled parts, and the fact that you can have unlimited warm rice to go with the yakiniku makes it even more enjoyable. *I didn't ask how many times I could have rice refills, but this time, one refill was enough. The quality of the carefully selected meat is high, and even for 3-4 people, having a delicious yakiniku lunch alone is highly recommended. My stomach and heart were truly satisfied. There is a one-person yakiniku specialty store nearby, but I would love to taste the carefully selected Yamagata beef again at Okuu, either for a solo yakiniku meal or dinner. Yakiniku Okuu Shinbashi Branch Tokyo, Minato-ku, Shinbashi 2-5-1 EXCEL Shinbashi B1F 3-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station (237m) 5-minute walk from Shinbashi Station Business Hours: - Lunch 11:00-15:00 (Last Order 14:15) - Dinner [Mon-Fri] 17:00-23:30 (Last Order 22:30) [Sat-Sun, Holidays] 17:00-22:00 (Last Order 21:30) Payment: Cards accepted, electronic money not accepted Closed: Irregular closing days

Last week, I saw a sign for "Yamagata beef" at a restaurant called "Kusamakura" and made a mental note to check it out. Upon researching, I found out that it is a branch of a Kanagawa yakiniku restaurant. Today, I decided to visit this place instead of "Ushigoro Bambina". I arrived right when they opened at 11 am. The interior of the restaurant was typical of a yakiniku place. It seemed like they had reservations for large groups, as the seating was a bit cramped. I ordered the Wagyu cut lunch set for 1,900 yen (tax included). The set included salad, wakame soup, kimchi, and almond jelly for dessert, but the portions were small and the quality was average. The Wagyu cuts varied in shape and texture, with some pieces having a nice marbling. The meat had a good balance of sweetness and was reasonably tasty, but my expectations were high, so the value for money was a bit disappointing. I had a refill of rice, but even that didn't seem particularly special. The service was polite but lacked warmth and refinement. They accepted credit card payments. There are many great yakiniku restaurants in Shinbashi, so I may not visit this place again.

The Omicron variant, which has a strong infectivity, is spreading daily. When it comes to having lunch, it is important to ensure that proper infection control measures are in place. In this regard, "Okuu Shinbashi" gives a strong impression of having thorough infection control measures. The staff's service was also attentive, creating a reassuring atmosphere for dining. I ordered the lunch set (1,100 yen) and enjoyed the incredibly tender kalbi, which clearly showcased the high-quality beef. The sweetness of the beef combined perfectly with the sauce, creating a smooth texture that made me feel like I was enjoying high-end yakiniku. If it weren't for the Covid prevention measures, I would definitely want to visit this restaurant for dinner.

My junior colleague recommended a restaurant where you can eat slowly and relax. They kept insisting that the recommended dish is the sirloin. Isn't it supposed to be kalbi? They said kalbi has too much fat... I'm curious about the harami, but I'll go with the sirloin. It comes with kimchi and soup. The sirloin is bright red and thinly sliced. I tried it, but it was a bit tough. Personally, I felt that this sirloin was... not so great. I decided to follow my own feelings rather than my junior colleague's opinion. If it's your first time, you should start with kalbi. Or maybe harami... I realized that there are various types of yakiniku. It's a relaxing and leisurely place to eat, but next time I'll try something different. Thank you for the meal.

The specialty of Okuu in Shinbashi is definitely the Yamagata beef, which is exceptionally delicious! The must-try is the assorted platter without overthinking it. It can get really crowded and the staff may be a bit lacking in service due to the limited number, but it's unavoidable. The best seasoning for the delicious meat is salt! The lunch menu is also affordable and very tasty.

If you haven't been there for a while, the prices may have gone up. The taste is definitely good. Hmm, it might be intentional, but it's a bit sad that there are no longer cheap and delicious options. Oh, the meat is incredibly delicious. If you have it for lunch, you'll feel happy and spend a pleasant afternoon (laughs).
