This week, I had work near Minamisuna Station in Koto-ku. On Monday morning, I had some extra time, so I enjoyed breakfast at McDonald's. It had been about 5 months since I last visited the Minamisuna store. Last time, I also had breakfast there. This time, I ordered the Big Breakfast Set (580 yen including tax). I received a number tag and waited at my table. The set was very filling, with three pancakes, scrambled eggs, and a sausage muffin in the box. It also came with hash browns and a drink (Vegetable Life 100). It even included strawberry jam and salt and pepper. The pancakes had a fluffy texture and were delicious. It seemed like there were a lot of regular customers during the morning hours. The store had an open and comfortable atmosphere. I could easily see myself lingering there. Thank you for the meal!

There is a shop located near Minamisunamachi Station along Eitai-dori, which is open 24 hours and has a shared parking lot with Seven-Eleven. This is a "McCafé by Barista" store, which is not commonly seen (I saw it for the first time). They sell cakes and macarons. I arrived at Minamisunamachi Station earlier than expected due to work, so I had their morning set. I ordered the Sausage Egg McMuffin set (including tax, 320 yen) with a Veggie Life 100 drink. The store is spacious and has a sense of openness. The first-floor seats were full, so I went up the stairs decorated with blue balloons to the second-floor counter seats. McDonald's morning menu is delicious. I like the combination of rich cheese and sausage in the Sausage Egg McMuffin. It's one of my favorites. Thank you for the meal! I went to McDonald's for the first time in a while. I originally wanted to go to Inariya-san, but there was a long line, so I decided to look for another restaurant nearby. I couldn't find anything, so I ended up at this McDonald's. I ordered a Samurai Mac for 500 yen and a Double Cheeseburger for 370 yen. I ate inside the restaurant, where there were middle school boys studying and a group of people. The Samurai Mac had a sweet and thick sauce that didn't really suit the burger, in my opinion. It wasn't very delicious. The Double Cheeseburger, on the other hand, tasted like a typical McDonald's burger and was enjoyable. Please note that these are just my personal opinions. I had a Melon Condensed Milk Frappe for 490 yen at the McDonald's in Minamisuna. It's located near the intersection of Eitai-dori and Maruhachi-dori. I decided to stop by because I was tired from cycling along the Arakawa River and didn't want to go all the way to Kasai Rinkai Park due to the heat. Instead of ordering an iced coffee, I opted for something cooler. The frappe was cold and refreshing, although the whipped cream on top was unnecessary in my opinion. The condensed milk added a sweet touch, which was much needed for my body after cycling over 50km.

Visit in July 2022. As I was nearing the end of a series of consecutive days working outside, I decided to visit this place instead of my usual TGS for lunch because I wanted to check my emails and fuel up. "McDonald's Minamisunamachi Store" I ordered something meaty to fuel up properly. And instead of fries, I opted for nuggets to avoid excessive carb intake. - Big Mac Set (Chicken McNuggets) When choosing the nugget sauce, I noticed a sauce I wasn't familiar with, so I decided to try it: "Savory Salted Ginger Sauce." What's this? Ginger sauce!? Kids definitely wouldn't choose this (^_^;) Did McDonald's cut back on the kid-friendly options and cater more towards adults? Let's dig in! First, the nuggets... I dipped them generously in the savory salted ginger sauce and took a bite (´～｀) Yum~ (´･ω･`) It has a hint of garlic and a strong ginger flavor, a taste that appeals more to adults or older folks like me. As someone who's already dipping their toe into old age, this flavor is right up my alley (laughs). Next up, the Big Mac... The lettuce was flying all over the place, the usual McDonald's quality (laughs). The Big Mac sauce is just delicious, isn't it? (*´∀｀) Tasty! I think it's the burger I eat most often on McDonald's menu. The patty is juicy thanks to the Big Mac sauce, making it taste so good (￣∇￣)b! After finishing my Coke Zero, I quickly checked my emails and decided to head to my next destination. I don't mind having McDonald's for lunch! That's all. Thank you.

On holidays, it's extremely crowded. There is a McDonald's café inside where you have to pay separately. I tried the "Oreo Cookie Chocolate Mint Frappe" for 490 yen and it was delicious! The mint cream on top was tasty, and the bottom had a chocolate frappe with some icy parts. The Oreo chunks added a nice touch. I recommend it!

This year, the seasonal item at the McCafe is back. There doesn't seem to be any significant changes compared to last year, but when you look at the photos from last year, it feels like there's a bit more white chocolate. Well, that could just be the barista's touch. Just wanted to share this update...

Now, at McCafe, they are selling a collaboration frappe with Godiva! I'm not sure how long they will be selling it for, so I decided to try it out. There were two types available, one with a macaron and one without. I opted for the one with the macaron. When I received the drink from the barista, I took it to my seat to taste it. The macaron had a nutty flavor with a praline filling. In simple terms, it tasted like a gooey caramel and nut flavor like Snickers. As for the frappe itself, it was not as rich as I expected. Also, there were no chocolate chips or mini chocolate bars, so I didn't really get a Godiva vibe from it. The only good thing I could say about it was that the chocolate-flavored whipped cream was delicious. That's my review...

I sometimes use this place. They have a McCafe, so you can order cakes and drinks that are not available in regular stores. (I tried the peach-flavored iced tea before, it was delicious. I haven't tried the cakes yet...) The second floor has large windows that create a sense of openness and I recommend it. This may be the case with other stores as well, but it's convenient that if you enter your seat number in the mobile order, they will bring your order to your seat.

Today I had some errands in the city center and drove there. After finishing my business around noon, I started heading back home around 1:30 pm. On the way back, I decided to have a late lunch. I realized that I hadn't been to McDonald's in a while. I heard that they have special menu items for their 50th anniversary in Japan, so I decided to check it out. I drove south from Yasukuni Street towards Minamisunamachi, and found a McDonald's with a McCafé by Barista at the intersection of Kiyokasuo Bridge Street. The building looked stylish and there was even a parking lot where you can get a parking ticket for up to 90 minutes. I went inside and ordered the Texas Burger from their 50th anniversary menu using a 20 yen discount coupon from their app, along with an iced coffee in medium size. I went upstairs and sat by the window, enjoying the view outside. It was a nice and quiet time, as it was still early and not many high school girls or other customers were there yet. It had been about 10 years since I last had a Texas Burger, and it was definitely tastier than the regular McDonald's menu. It was a satisfying meal.

I went shopping early in the morning and decided to have breakfast at McDonald's Minamisuna-machi store. It was my first time visiting this large store with a parking lot. You have to get a parking ticket first and show it when you pay to get a free parking ticket. I chose the Sausage Egg McMuffin combo with egg. My daughter ordered the pancake set and ended up feeling quite full, so we took the apple pie as a takeaway. I still think the Sausage Egg McMuffin is my favorite item at McDonald's.

This is a McCafé located in Minamisuna-cho! Everywhere seems to be all about strawberries these days, so I tried ordering a frappe. If you order it with a cake, you get a 50 yen discount, so let's try the new cake as well. The drinks at McCafé are not made by just any staff, but by a barista, so it may take a little time to be served. As for the taste... both the frappe and the cake were as expected. While they may feel special within McDonald's, they lack a unique flavor compared to other cafes and pastry shops. Even though they use strawberries, the lack of actual fruit pieces is disappointing. Overall, considering the price, it's not bad. The caramel banana tart also lacks a strong fruit flavor. The caramel sauce decoration looks nice, but it feels like they put effort in the wrong places. Both items could use a bit more personality.

I came to the McDonald's cafe looking for something new! They had it, so I purchased it and tried it right away! Now, as for the taste... Be careful not to inhale the kinako powder on the surface too quickly as it can make you choke. It's safer to mix it well before drinking. You can't eat the shiratama without opening the lid, but if you don't reduce the amount first, the kinako powder will spill out. There were various difficulties, making it hard to eat. When hojicha, kinako, and black syrup mix together, it strangely tastes like anko. Is it just my imagination? It's refreshing because it's hojicha-based, but as I mentioned multiple times, inhaling a large amount of kinako powder is dangerous!

It was hot, so I took a little detour and stopped by the counter at McDonald's without even looking, heading straight to the McCafe counter! Some of the menu items had changed since my last visit, so I quickly made a purchase. I even bought two different frappes at the same time. The barista made them efficiently, and I took them back to my seat to enjoy. As for the taste...I preferred the muscat flavor. There was nothing particularly special, so I just drank them to cool off. After finishing both drinks, I ordered a Berry Berry & Peach Tea as a finale. I forgot to take a picture, but it had blueberries and raspberries in the peach tea. It wasn't anything amazing, but the novelty factor made me end up buying a variety of things.

Early August 2020. It's past 8:30 PM. A chance arrives. While having a light meal, I head to the McCafé ❤️ If there are no staff at the café booth, you can place your order at the adjacent food register. The cream looks so tempting ✧ \( °∀° )/ ✧ with beautifully wavy patterns, and it tastes delicious (´౿`)♡✩.*˚ Order: "Mango Creamy Frappe" made with Alphonso mango puree, known as the "king of mangoes." The mango flavor is intense ❤️ It's a lovely taste ❤️❤️ "Muscat Creamy Frappe" made with sweet Muscat grapes. The Muscat flavor is rich and delicious ❤️ "Hokkaido Melon & Milk Frappe" made with Hokkaido red-fleshed melon puree and milk. The melon flavor is also intense ❤️ and aromatic. This summer, frappes are delicious ⤴︎ ⤴︎⤴︎

The McDonald's here has a McCafe attached! So, I chose something from the cafe menu, which was the above items. It took a bit of time to be served, probably because there were few cafe-specific staff, but once I received it, I went upstairs to eat. Now, as for the taste... [Macaron] It was served in a paper cup, probably because it's fragile? The macaron had chocolate inside, which was sweet and sticky, similar to a Snickers. It seemed like they wanted to create a contrast between the crunchy texture and the sticky chocolate, but the chocolate was too sweet. [Hokkaido Melon & Milk Frappe] This was a combination of melon flavor and whipped milk, but it was a common taste without any surprises. I was expecting something more unique that is characteristic of McDonald's, but it lacked originality. However, being able to upgrade to a smoothie for an extra 200 yen during breakfast at McCafe is a unique offering that I appreciated.

Located just a 2-minute walk from exit 3 of Minamisuna Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, this cafe is right by the entrance intersection of Minamisuna Station. It is one of the few stores in Tokyo that offers McCafe by Barista. It's a nice change from the usual McDonald's, giving you the feeling of visiting a cafe. The menu is full of enticing options, making it hard to choose. - Hokkaido Melon & Chocolate Frappe (July 5, 2020): A smoothie made with Hokkaido red-flesh melon sauce and milk, offering a rich melon aroma and sweetness. The whipped cream and chocolate sauce add to the sweetness. - Fluffy Peach Creamy Frappe (July 5, 2020): A smoothie made with two types of white and yellow peaches, showcasing the natural deliciousness and sweetness of peaches. Topped with whipped cream and white peach sauce, it's a luxurious treat. - Kalbi Mac (July 5, 2020): A beef patty topped with kalbi and lettuce drizzled with sweet lemon sauce. The kalbi, coated in a sweet and savory sauce, is appetizing. The lettuce with sweet lemon sauce provides a refreshing acidity to balance the rich meaty flavor. These authentic frappes are surprisingly delicious, not your typical McDonald's fare. It would be great if they were available at all McDonald's locations. Thank you for the meal.

The nearest station is Minamisuna-cho Station. This store, which is a McDonald's with a cafe, sells smoothies and frappes that are not available in regular stores. I ordered the limited-time Hokkaido Melon & Chocolate Frappe in size L (560 yen). In the photo for sale, it looks like Oreo cookies, but in reality, it is covered with cocoa powder, so there is no crunchy texture. Compared to Starbucks' Frappuccino, it lacks a bit of a crunchy texture. If the price is almost the same, I prefer Starbucks. The store was empty, but the tables were dirty, and there was litter scattered on the floor in front of the trash can, which was disappointing. I would like the store to be cleaned properly.

This is McDonald's Minamisuna-machi store, located just a few minutes' walk from Minamisuna-machi Station. It is a large two-story store along the main street, with a McDonald's Café inside. I ordered a set with my favorite cake and café au lait for 500 yen, and also a macaron for 150 yen. The seating was spaced out as a measure against COVID-19. There are many charging seats, making it a convenient McDonald's to use.

Around 11:50 AM on a Saturday in June 2020, I visited a McDonald's with a McCafé drive-thru. This particular McCafé is a store that also offers specialty café coffee served by dedicated baristas. There are over 100 of these stores nationwide, with about 6 located in the Tokyo 23 wards area, each with barista crew members trained in their own unique way. These baristas are trained in specialized techniques such as milk foaming and operating barista machines. The drive-thru had 2 lanes and was quite busy due to the rain. There were about 10 cars lined up at the order point. The premises can accommodate up to 10 cars waiting, and there is even a parking lot, making it quite spacious. I ordered various items from the McCafé, but only the café drinks are mentioned here. The Ice Caramel Latte in medium size was delicious with whipped cream on top. It seems like enjoying the whipped cream is best done when dining inside the store. Next time, I'll try dining in. I also tried the Peach Smoothie in medium size, which was sweet and delicious, with large pieces of fruit that I initially mistook for ice. The Mango Smoothie in medium size was also satisfying, as I love mangoes and it had a rich flavor. Overall, despite the rain and the initial wait of about 10 minutes to place my order, the experience was stress-free. Surprisingly, there was no wait time at the payment and pickup counter, which was a pleasant surprise. Next time, I might try the macarons.
