I went for dinner. The place is located along Chazawa Street connecting Sangenjaya and Shimokitazawa. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats. It is a curry chain where you can consistently enjoy delicious curry. I had a delicious pork curry. I would like to visit again.

Located in Sangenjaya, CoCo Ichibanya is a curry restaurant that stands out among other popular curry spots in the area. This time, I ordered the pork stew curry. The curry roux had the usual CoCo Ichibanya flavor, and the taste and texture of the pork added a nice accent to the dish. It was a delicious curry that I enjoyed.

I had CoCo Ichibanya curry for the first time in 5 years. The menu has changed quite a bit. Today, I had the squid curry with a half cream croquette topping. It's nice that you can now get half toppings. When it arrived, I noticed that the rice seemed a bit mushy, maybe they used unwashed rice? The squid also seemed to be missing. It's been a while since I last went, but I was disappointed with the overall experience.

CoCo Ichibanya: It was my first time at CoCo Ichibanya. I noticed that if you don't choose the ○○ curry, there are fewer toppings. Personally, I prefer when there are vegetables in it, but since it was katsu curry, I managed to forgive it somehow.

I went to CoCo Ichibanya for the first time in my life because they started offering curry dishes that are animal-free this winter, and I wanted to support that initiative. I ordered the Vegetable Soup Curry, which had plenty of ingredients and the spiciness was tolerable even for someone like me who doesn't like spicy food. The soup itself was a bit thin though. The staff was friendly. Overall, it wasn't super delicious but I would go back again in the future.

I visited after a long time. Instead of the usual curry, I tried the adult spicy curry with cheese. The spice flavor was not like the usual Cocoichi curry, but it was new and very delicious!

Cocoichi is a place that people either love or hate, but I personally like it. I always get either the Wiener Curry with cheese topping or the Rosukatsu Curry with cheese topping! The cheese topping is a must. This time, I chose the Rosukatsu Curry! I usually go for the normal portion size with normal spiciness, but I like to sprinkle some of the spices on the table to adjust the spiciness to my liking. If I suddenly crave it again, I'll definitely go back! Ossu ossu!

Summer has arrived! Curry time! I was curious about CoCo Ichibanya's Spicy Curry and decided to try their Chicken Veggie Bento with garlic and tomato flavor. I ordered it with less rice and spice level 1. The curry sauce from CoCo Ichibanya is known for its unique spiciness, but this Spicy Curry has a trendy twist to it. It includes plenty of vegetables like fried eggplant, okra, and tomato, adding a refreshing taste to the dish. Even at spice level 1, it still has a nice kick to it, typical of a Spicy Curry. It was delicious. Adding the pink pickled onions provided a nice touch of color and a milder taste. Overall, it was a tasty and enjoyable summer curry experience.

The curry is full of chunks of meat, potatoes, and other ingredients, making it delicious. I also look forward to the lottery where you can win an original spoon, so the number of visits increases during this time. However... the rice on this day was somehow lukewarm and clumpy, which was disappointing. It happens very rarely.

I arrived at around 9:00 pm. The curry at Cocoichi has a simple taste, but for some reason it has become addictive and I use it regularly. It was my first time at this store, but the response from the staff was poor and the tables were sticky and very dirty. I ordered the Pork Curry Rice 300 grams for now. The curry itself had a consistent taste.

I was able to enjoy the nostalgic memories and taste of CoCo Ichibanya for the first time in many years.

I often come to this place in Sangenjaya, and I have many opportunities to have meals here during both lunch and dinner. This time, I ordered the Menchi Curry (763 yen) with a friend. It's been a while since we last visited Cocoichi. The Menchi was okay, but the curry itself was a bit disappointing. It lacked richness and spiciness, and didn't seem to have a distinct style - not quite European, Indian, or home-style. Some die-hard Cocoichi fans might appreciate its unique taste, but personally, I found it to be just average. If it were priced in the 300 yen range, it might be acceptable, but for this taste at this price, it's not worth it.
