I purchased some chocolates for Valentine's Day, which were beautifully displayed. The quality is impressive, and they even provided a special heart-shaped paper bag.

I found the Seijo Ishii Gran Gate Tokyo Station store while transferring at Tokyo Station! They sell a variety of items, making it fun to browse. I came across a cute Christmas Advent Countdown tree plush toy souvenir called "Rasumi Tsuki." It's a calendar where you can count down the days until Christmas by opening a window each day from December 1st to the 24th. Inside each window, there's delicious chocolate. I bought it so that Mitsuki can enjoy counting down to Christmas. It's a fun product with LINE stamps and QR codes for entertaining videos. I remember receiving a large item as a gift from my sister in Tokyo before, and it made me very happy. This time, I'm giving Mitsuki a small "Ras Adventure Countdown Tree" as a gift. It caught my eye - "Negibaka"! I immediately reached out to buy it (laughs). It's basically a type of rice cracker! But it has a crispy and light texture. This goes well with high sour drinks! One bag is not enough (laughs). It's not too strong on the green onion flavor, so the smell is not a concern... or so I think (laughs). Having a drink in the green car from Tokyo Station to Yokohama passes by in no time when you're drinking. Better hurry or I won't finish all the drinks (laughs).

In the morning, I saw on TV that Seijo Ishii's Pumpkin Pudding was being featured, so my wife asked me to bring it back as a souvenir. I visited the Seijo Ishii Granage Tokyo Station store after a long time and bought two "Hokkaido Pumpkin Puddings" for 313 yen each - one for myself and one as a gift for my wife. I also purchased the "9 kinds of carefully selected mixed nuts" for 1,177 yen, which was also featured on the show. The pumpkin pudding was sweet but the caramel added a nice touch of bitterness. The mixed nuts were delicious as well, living up to their "carefully selected" label.

I had just returned from a summer vacation trip to Hawaii, but the next day, due to various circumstances, I had to make a trip to a resort in Urayasu, which was like a difficult place for me. I was thinking of getting some dinner and snacks inside Tokyo Station before heading home when I stumbled upon this shop near the Keio Line platform. To my surprise, they had my favorite dish - Singapore Noodles (Curry Bee Hoon) on display. The official name of the dish was "Singapore-style stir-fried beef noodles with shrimp and snap peas," priced at 499 yen excluding tax. I have bought beef noodles from Seijo Ishii stores before, but this was the first time I saw this particular item. I bought it immediately and headed home. When I heated it up and ate it at home, the Singapore Noodles were delicious as always. However, the flavor seemed complex and deep. I have tried curry-flavored beef noodles from various places like Kenmin frozen foods, Bamiyan, and a Hong Kong cafe in Iidabashi, but they usually have a Chinese flavor with curry on top. What is this unique deliciousness? I wondered if it was Seijo Ishii's specialty XO sauce. I checked Seijo Ishii's website and found out some information. This product was newly developed for the "Ethnic Fair" that the company has been holding since August 2nd. The seasoning includes red curry paste, oyster sauce, mirin, ketchup, and more. So it's a mix of ethnic, Chinese, Japanese, and Western flavors. It's no wonder I felt the taste was different. By the way, the company has ethnic chefs in their central kitchen who are responsible for developing and manufacturing products. Seijo Ishii, not to be underestimated, I thought once again.

Despite its compact size, the store offers a wide range of products, from affordable items to slightly more expensive ones, making it a fun place to browse. During my visit around 7 pm, some items were being sold at a discount of 10% to 20%. From there, I purchased Seijo Ishii's original potato salad (¥411 → 20% off for ¥336) and Kimuraya Sohonke's chewy mentaiko cheese bread (¥124 → 20% off for ¥99). The potato salad had chunky potatoes and a good mayonnaise flavor, providing a satisfying taste. It was a simple yet delicious potato salad. The mentaiko cheese bread had a chewy texture with a good flavor of cheese and mayonnaise, although I wished it had a bit more mentaiko flavor. Overall, it was a tasty bread.

It's quite a struggle to navigate from the Shinkansen and local train area to the Keiyo Line platform at JR Tokyo Station. Personally, I always find it frustrating that they are considered part of the same station. On a recent visit to the Keiyo Line area, I stopped by a supermarket called Seijo Ishii. Since it was late and I didn't want to be stuck without food options in the "devil's country," I took advantage of their discounted prices and got a triangle sandwich for 300 yen and a beef sandwich for 250 yen. I ended up having them for dinner, and as expected from Seijo Ishii, they were delicious and satisfying in terms of both quality and quantity.

Tokyo Station Ekiben, located above the Keiyo Line platform, is a Seijo Ishii store. While transferring to the Keiyo Line and short on time, I purchased bread and milk here. - Delicious Beef Curry Bun: 152 yen This is a bread from Kobe-ya. It doesn't have chunks of beef, but you can still feel the texture of the meat. It's moderately spicy and tasty. - Apple Danish: 152 yen This is a bread from Kobe-ya EEX (European Exceed). The combination of Danish pastry, custard-like cream, and crispy apple is a classic. If you're tired of NEWDAYS in the station, this could be a nice change.

I stopped by a small store in Tokyo Station on my way to the Keiyo Line platform. It was a small Seijo Ishii store, with products neatly displayed in a cozy space. As a bread lover, I purchased a rich milk tea scone and a plain country bread. The scone had a rich flavor with plenty of tea leaves kneaded in, making it irresistible. The country bread was firm with a satisfying chewiness and a simple, rustic taste. There were so many types of bread to choose from, it was hard to decide.

A shop located inside JR Tokyo Station. It is located very close to the Keiyo Line platform. The interior of the shop is long and narrow, not very spacious, so it seemed quite challenging during busy hours. On this day, I purchased a yuzu honey drink. I thought it would be like a honey lemon drink, but it had a strong acidity and was delicious.

I missed buying a station bento at Tokyo Station, but I didn't feel like going back to buy one. So, I bought a bento at Seijo Ishii instead. Normally, I wouldn't buy a bento there because it's expensive, but compared to a station bento, it didn't seem too pricey. The chicken soboro was delicious. It was a decent bento, even though it wasn't a station bento. I would recommend it with a score of 70 points.
