Today's morning adventure took me to the area around Omori Station. I exited the north exit of JR Keihin-Tohoku Line Omori Station and turned left. After a short walk, I found "Nakaya" on my left. The menu for today, available from 7:00 to 10:00, includes various dishes priced at 150 yen each, such as grilled mackerel, salmon with grated radish, bacon and eggs, fried chicken, sausages, and more. They also offer highball drinks for 250 yen and soft drinks for 150 yen. I arrived at 7:10 on a weekday (their opening day) and ordered the grilled mackerel with rice and miso soup. The small but delicious mackerel was crispy on the outside and tender inside, with just the right amount of saltiness. It was a delightful breakfast experience at this izakaya.
