This restaurant is perfect for my Oriental vegetarian friend. They have options for vegetarians and vegans, and you can also consult with the staff, making it a valuable place. The staff and the shop dog are both very nice. The photo shows the daily plate, which was appealing with its fresh vegetables and diverse contents. I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area! The shop is located towards the back on the left side as you walk towards the parking lot. They accept PayPay.

After some time had passed (currently 7/13), I was looking for a place to have lunch after the exam and stumbled upon this place. I found it on Tabelog and checked the map to get there, otherwise I might have missed it as it's tucked away and a bit hard to find. It seems like a cafe with a focus on vegetables. The interior of the building has a nostalgic feel, like an old folk house. It's more of an open layout, so not ideal for those who like a super cold room (the air conditioning works fine and it's not too hot). Inside the store, there was Latte, a 9-year-old dog. She was cute and would snuggle up at your feet. I tried the enzyme brown rice plate for 1350 yen. The brown rice was really delicious. If brown rice tastes this good, I could eat it every day. The side dishes had a mild flavor, which I liked. It seemed like they used vinegar more than salt, giving it a healthy touch. There were plenty of items and it was quite filling. Mushrooms were used a lot, and they were all delicious. I might have thought "mushrooms are delicious" for the first time in a while (I haven't been using them much in my cooking lately). I had a cafe latte for the set discount price of 500 yen. It was a good size and tasted great hot. I think the cost performance is reasonable. It's a bit tough for me if I try to have drinks, dessert, and everything, as it would go over 2000 yen (so I gave up on dessert). Well, if I have the chance again, I would like to eat, drink, and relax at this place. Hmm, but this area is definitely out of my usual range (I wouldn't come here unless it's for an exam or something) ... It's a shame that I might not have the opportunity to revisit it.

Near Waseda Station, there is an intriguing building that seems to be a café. It has a retro and cozy atmosphere with a hidden entrance. Upon entering, I found out they offer not only coffee and sweets but also curry. It turns out to be a vegetarian restaurant, hence the combination of veggies and coffee. The curry of the day was spinach and mushroom Thai curry served with salad, grilled vegetables, and enzyme brown rice. They asked if I could handle the spiciness of the red curry, but being used to curry, I found it just right with a subtle kick of chili. The spinach was especially delicious. The brown rice complemented the dish well. While the vegetarian set meal is the main offering, they also have daily specials, so curry may not be available every day. It's a great place for those looking to enjoy a meal with plenty of vegetables.

Enzyme Brown Rice Plate Winter Vegetable Pot-au-feu Spring Chrysanthemum Miso Burdock and Mushroom Simmered Melon and Hayato Cucumber Sweet and Sour Pickles ¥1100 per person A plate with a main dish and two vegetable delis, accompanied by soup and salad. The salad included carrots and other ingredients, providing a nice variety. The main dish of the day was Pot-au-feu with plenty of large-cut vegetables. It was surprising to find a vegan lunch spot like this in Waseda.

I felt like eating enzyme brown rice after a long time, so I came to eat. I called around 2 pm and was surprised to be told it was full. The plate had a gentle overall flavor, but maybe a bit more intense would be better...? If I ate like this every day, I would be healthy.

A few days ago, I came close to this place and decided to visit again with my favorite companion. Even though I have been here many times, Sherry always barks at first, haha. This time, we tried the Enzyme Brown Rice Plate, which included celery and eringi mushroom ginger stir-fry, homemade nama-age with grated cucumber, Taiwanese herbal soup, and salad. I had never tried using fu (wheat gluten) with cucumber and grated daikon before, so it was a nice surprise. The ginger stir-fry was a bit strong in flavor, but overall, it was delicious. The Hawaiian music playing in the background created a very relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.

After yoga, had lunch with 3 women and felt good vibes. We usually go for Indian curry, but ended up here for some reason. We all had the enzyme brown rice plate and everyone said it was delicious. I'm glad I brought them here. Thank you for the meal.

This is a cafe with an old folk house style located in the Waseda University South Gate Street shopping street, heading from Okuma Auditorium to the intersection of Baba Shitamachi. There is a signboard dog named Latte-kun in the shop, and customers with dogs are allowed to dine inside. On this day, we visited during Sunday lunchtime with our beloved dog (3 people and 1 dog). When we entered, there were about 2 groups of customers, but more customers came in after us, and it quickly became full. It may be better to make a reservation when bringing a dog. The lunch menu for the day consisted of the following 3 items: - Veggie Taco Rice - Enzyme Brown Rice Plate - Panda Bean Dumplings with Tomato Miso Sauce - Crispy Emerald Green Peas - Mushroom Herb Oil Steamed - Ethnic Thai Curry (Fried Eggplant and Mushroom Green Curry) I chose the Green Curry. Since it is a vegan restaurant, all dishes are made with plant-based ingredients. The Ethnic Thai Curry contains ingredients such as leeks and garlic. My daughter ordered the Taco Rice, and my wife ordered the Fermented Brown Rice Plate. The curry comes with a generous serving of salad on the side. The rice is fermented brown rice. The plate is topped with splendidly grilled vegetables, including pumpkin, bell pepper, turnip, lotus root, zucchini, and eringi, beautifully arranged. The vegetables are well-seasoned and have a crunchy and soft texture, each with a delicious taste. The Green Curry does not contain the usual chicken, but the fried eggplant is rich and meaty, almost like meat. The eggplant and mushrooms, such as shiitake, are plentiful in the curry, and they go perfectly with the chewy fermented brown rice. Both the appearance and taste were satisfying. This is definitely a restaurant worth revisiting.

Before I became interested in natural food (back when I used to drink a lot), I happened to come across a dog-friendly cafe called Cafe VG that I wanted to visit, but it had closed down and relocated to Okinawa! Or so I thought, until I found out that it had actually reopened under a different name in the same location! So, I went there with my friend Sherry for lunch. The entrance and the atmosphere inside were just as I remembered. The "Enzyme Brown Rice Plate" for 1250 yen (tax included) was delicious. The pumpkin soup was simple and had a natural sweetness to it. The enzyme brown rice was chewy, the fresh and flavorful vegetable salad was great, and the combination of lotus root and celery with fresh sansho pepper was tasty. The potato and myoga combination had an interesting flavor, kind of like a sauce without acidity, not my favorite but unique. I savored each bite while chewing slowly. I thought it would be nice if they had a dog menu using enzyme brown rice. Looking back at old reviews, some people thought the pricing was a bit high, but I think it's quite reasonable for offering specialized natural food that you can enjoy with your dog. I need to be careful and thoughtful when writing reviews. Thank you for the meal.

I finished work early and found a cozy cafe while wandering around. It was a charming old house cafe with Hawaiian music playing inside. I tried the enzyme brown rice plate for 1100 yen, which was delicious and filling. They also offer a student discount of 100 yen. I highly recommend this hidden gem cafe!

Hello everyone who loves vegetables and loves to eat♪ This time, I have a video of Vege ++ Coffee, which I haven't posted for a while, so I'm uploading it all at once~☆ I usually order the "Enzyme Brown Rice Plate" here. The menu changes about once a week. It's so enviable to have such a delicious veggie cafe nearby (/ω\). Here are the details of my visits: 1st visit: - Thick fried tofu and radish in black sugar - Chinese broccoli and shimeji mushrooms in soy milk cream - Inca awakening and hijiki - Sprout celery salad - Mushroom potage - Salad - Enzyme brown rice And I also ordered a black sugar soy latte separately. The base seems to be Taiwanese, and they asked me if the sweetness was okay when I first visited. I have been to quite a few veggie cafes run by Taiwanese people, but this one has a different taste. It's more like Japanese-style Taiwanese veggie? It's really delicious and my favorite ( ̄▽+ ̄*). 2nd visit: - Inca awakening and enoki mushroom fry - Dried daikon radish and purple yam kinpira - Carrot rape 3rd visit (March 2021): - Shadow Queen croquette with soy sesame miso sauce - Red seaweed white sesame - Burdock plum simmer 4th visit: - Sendai wheat gluten and enoki & celery ginger stir-fry - Andes red potatoes and beet salad - Mushroom pickles Each visit is always delicious. I'm an Oriental vegetarian and I don't really like soy meat, so I love the vegetable and mushroom combinations here. It's always a pleasure to see vegetables that I don't encounter in my daily life. And I usually ask for black sugar milk or soy milk, but I tried oat milk for the first time. I found out that I prefer soy milk because oat milk has a fluffy texture and a sweeter taste. Other options like Vegitakoraisu and Veggie Curry are usually vegan, but they can be made without the five pungent roots. If you're curious, give it a try! See you in the next video and article~ ===========

When I had some errands to run in Waseda, I stopped by my favorite miscellaneous goods store, Switch, before heading to Waseda Station on the Tozai Line. On the way, I noticed a cafe that had caught my eye for a while. That cafe was Vegito Coffee. The entrance was narrow, and I felt a bit hesitant to enter, but my husband was with me, and when I mentioned that I was curious about it, he encouraged me to just go for it. So, we decided to check it out. We drove along the narrow road next to the parking lot and arrived at an open space that felt like a terrace or inside the store. We entered through a doorway that made it seem like the actual store. We were told to choose any seat we liked, so we sat at a table towards the back. There was a sofa seat that caught my eye, but there was already a customer's dog sitting there. It was a miniature schnauzer, I think. The staff said it was okay to sit there, but the dog looked so comfortable and cozy that I decided to sit elsewhere. Although I had just had a late breakfast at Good Morning Cafe, I decided to order a chiffon cake set because I wanted to try something. The menu seemed to have various items with special attention to ingredients, so it's a good idea to ask the staff if they have what you want on that day. My husband was asking a lot of questions when ordering his iced coffee. Another staff member, who seemed to be in charge of coffee, came over to explain various details. I thought, does my husband usually care this much about coffee? If I had to say, he prefers it on the lighter side. I had already had two cups of coffee in the morning, so this time I opted for a hot cafe au lait. The chiffon cake arrived. The combination of lemon and cream was refreshing, and I enjoyed it while dipping the cake. It had been a while since I had chiffon cake. I had been eating shortcake and cheesecake a lot recently. I realized how nice it is to have something light like this. It's light, but it's satisfying because it's big (I'm simple...). The cafe latte had a good balance of milk and coffee. The atmosphere of the cafe itself was very nice, with an old folk house style. The mismatched tables and chairs looked random, but upon closer inspection, you could see that some of them were the same type. Some looked like school desks, right? It was fun to look around and imagine. The ventilation seemed good, with windows open due to COVID. It wasn't too cold, which was nice because I tend to get stomachaches when it's too cold. There were fans placed around, so it wasn't hot. It felt like my grandma's house during summer vacation. The dog that was sleeping woke up, so I went to play with it. It was very friendly and not afraid of people at all. I mentioned to the staff that even with the door open, it didn't run away, and they said that when it was younger, it had escaped a few times. My 1.5-year-old dog at home would definitely dash out if given the chance. I'd like to try their curry and other food items next time. I found a really nice cafe. I definitely want to visit again next time I'm in Waseda. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant used to be a pet-friendly cafe called Cafe VG, where a Schnauzer dog was the mascot. After moving to Okinawa, it has returned to the neighborhood. The reviewer visited with their dogs and ordered Veggie Taco Rice, Ethnic Thai Curry, French Fries, Banana Juice, and 100-Year Cola. The drinks were unique, with the Banana Juice tasting like pure bananas and the 100-Year Cola having a ginger flavor. The French Fries were hot and crispy, served with paw-shaped mayo. The Ethnic Thai Curry was coconut-based and came with a side salad with big vegetable slices. The Veggie Taco Rice was made with enzyme brown rice, soy mince, and leafy greens, providing a healthy and satisfying meal. The total bill was discounted to 3,550 yen, making it a good value for the quality of food and pet-friendly atmosphere.

On a Saturday morning in Waseda, I was walking down the Waseda South Gate Street towards Anahachimangu Shrine, contemplating having a morning meal. I noticed a standing signboard next to a coin parking lot, which seemed to be a cafe. I had heard that the previous establishment had closed down, so I assumed a new one had taken its place. Since I had never been there before, I decided to give it a try. I ordered a cappuccino with soy milk instead of regular milk, a Taiwanese street food dish, and a vegan taco rice. The cafe had a stylish interior with a terrace seating area, and I was surprised by how well they incorporated wood into the decor. Despite my initial discomfort with dogs, I was led to a table in the back where a cute dog approached me. I quickly looked over the menu, which had several meal options, including vegan dishes. I tried to order a vegan dessert, but unfortunately, they didn't have it that day due to the pandemic. So, I settled for a lighter meal with the Taiwanese street food dish. The cappuccino with soy milk was surprisingly soft and had a great taste. The Taiwanese dish was satisfying, with fresh and delicious vegetables on the side. While observing the surroundings and other customers, I learned that the dog at the cafe enjoyed eating croissants with their favorite butter. As I tried to pay my bill, the dog sat right in front of the exit, blocking my way. I had to wait for the dog to move before I could leave, which felt like an eternity. Despite the unexpected delay, I enjoyed the unique experience and even returned to the cafe later for more delicious food and coffee. It's a cafe that pays attention to detail and offers a variety of enjoyable experiences.

Hello everyone who loves veggies and loves to eat♪ Good morning, good evening ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ It's ◇Vege ++ Coffee◇ here again, with another visit to the restaurant. This time, I went with a veggie friend, and it was a snowy day, so it was a little while ago☆彡 On this day, I had the Enzyme Brown Rice Plate (Oriental Vegan), with the main dish being simmered taro and konjac. It was seasoned with sweet miso and tasted amazing♪ The fermented enzyme brown rice was great for gut health. I usually only cook sprouted brown rice in my rice cooker, so it was a nice change to have enzyme brown rice at Vege ++ Coffee ( ´艸`)ムププ One of the highlights was the soup, which was perfect for soup lovers like me. It was free from the five pungent roots, so ingredients like onions were not used. It was much appreciated♪ I usually love black sugar soy milk latte, but this time I decided to try something different - the Organic Roasted Brown Rice Soy Milk Latte, with black sugar as an extra option. It was delicious, but I still prefer the black sugar soy milk latte (laughs) Even though I was quite full from the plate, my friend and I decided to share a dessert. Unfortunately, the strawberry chiffon cake was sold out, so we opted for the Vegan Rice Flour Caramel Pound Cake instead. The soy milk cream on top was amazing♪ My friend was engrossed in the latte, so I ended up having another cup of the black sugar soy milk latte. My friend enjoyed the coffee, and I eventually went back to my favorite black sugar soy milk latte (laughs) Overall, it was a cozy cafe where you can enjoy by yourself or with friends. If you're interested, I recommend giving it a try♪ Check out the video too: https://youtu.be/Mx2b_XgSlfs

Hello everyone who loves vegetables and everyone who loves to eat! Today, I want to talk about an Oriental vegan menu that I tried recently. I really enjoyed the enzyme brown rice plate, which has become my favorite dish. I also ordered a banana smoothie with soy milk for an extra 50 yen and added cocoa topping for another 50 yen. It was delicious! On another visit, I tried the Oriental vegan curry since the brown rice plate was not available. However, I found it a bit too spicy for my taste. To balance out the spiciness, I ordered a black sugar latte with soy milk for an extra 50 yen. It was really tasty! I made a video about my experience, so if you want more details, please check it out here: [link to video].

A hidden gem café on the way to Waseda University's main gate. It seems to be a vegetarian-friendly place, with a lunch sign displayed outside, so I decided to check it out. It was past the lunch peak on a weekday, and there were very few students around. No other customers were inside. The café had a cozy atmosphere, with a friendly dog roaming around. The dog seemed to be the owner of this place. The lunch menu had three options: Taco Rice for 900 yen, Herbal Vegetable Curry for 1200 yen, and Fermented Brown Rice Plate for 1000 yen. Of course, they also offered coffee and cakes. I ordered the Fermented Brown Rice Plate. It came with brown rice, pumpkin soup, tomato sauce, croquettes, simmered turnips, komatsuna nut salad, and fresh vegetables beautifully arranged on a plate. The use of safe vegetables was reassuring. The meal had a light and gentle flavor overall. The croquettes were filled with lots of potatoes and were satisfying in terms of portion size. It was a calming and cozy time surrounded by a warm atmosphere. This is a great place to relax with a book.

I used it for lunch with my friend - Yes, the enzyme brown rice is delicious. The deli is also delicious! However, on this day, it was hot and the air conditioning was not working well, so it was uncomfortable. I think it would have been even more delicious if it had been cooler.
