This is a restaurant located in the BIF of the International Building, and there are still many undiscovered shops here. The nearest stations are Yurakucho for JR and Hibiya for the Metro, but the address is in the prestigious Marunouchi district. The restaurant floor starts at 11:30, so if you can't make it by 11:00, this could be a good option. I found this restaurant while searching for unvisited places in Marunouchi, and although not many MyRevi members have visited yet, the reviews are high, so my expectations are rising. I arrived at the building right after the opening time and headed towards the restaurant. I reached there at 11:34. As soon as I entered, I saw around 10 customers already dining, so they might have started early. I was seated at a counter seat by the wall, which was a bit cramped but had a bit of space on the right end. I ordered the mapo tofu and was asked about the level of spiciness - only medium was available. The dish was served quickly, and it was hot and spicy. It was described as delicious, hot, spicy, and numbing, and it lived up to that description. I found it quite spicy, so I had to drink water constantly. The dish was tasty, but I wished there was a milder option. I also had a side of almond jelly, which was a nice sweet finish after the spiciness. Overall, the meal was satisfying, and for 800 yen, it was a good deal.

I went to a company drinking party. The volume of the food was amazing! Not only the quantity, but the quality was also high, and overall it was quite spicy but delicious. There were a lot of customers, so the drink service was a bit slow and forgetful at times, which was a little disappointing. I would like to try visiting for lunch as well!

Chen Family's Specialty Dishes: Fresh Aomori Abe Chicken with Sichuan Pepper and Original Peak Stone Pot Mapo Tofu. The Sichuan Pepper chicken is delicious, very refreshing with the floral Sichuan pepper. I didn't particularly like the Mapo Tofu because it was too strong in garlic flavor. Located in the International Building B1, they were open on Sundays while many other shops were closed.

On Saturday night around 7 o'clock, the area under the building of the Teikoku Theater was quite crowded, with many people who had come to eat after watching a play. I had the 2.5-hour all-you-can-drink Chinese course for 4,780 yen, which included dishes like Mapo Tofu served on a hot stone. All ten dishes were delicious, especially the small fried chicken stir-fried with curry flavor. The beer came in small jugs, but the lemon sour was served in a stainless steel jug, nice and cold, and I ended up having multiple glasses. I stayed for the full 2.5 hours, it was a great meal - thank you!

The restaurant is located on the basement floor of a building, in a slightly hard-to-find location. They have semi-private rooms for groups. All seats are table seats, and it was quite noisy on Wednesdays. The highlight of this restaurant is definitely the cost performance. With a 5000 yen all-you-can-drink course, you can enjoy dishes like Peking duck, shrimp chili, and simmered abalone, which tasted great.

I went to the company's lunch. I ordered mapo tofu. However, it came with fried chicken, salad, soup, and almond jelly, making it a great deal. Plus, you can get a refill of rice once, so you can eat to your heart's content. There are also many solo female diners, which I think guarantees the taste.

I ordered a large beer because it was a better deal than a regular size. It was quite big and heavy. I ordered the mapo tofu with medium spiciness, and they mixed it for me. The spiciness hit me as the flavor danced in the air, but it wasn't too spicy, more like 70% flavor and 30% spiciness in my personal opinion. It was the most delicious I've had anywhere. I also had black vinegar sweet and sour pork, fried rice, and drool chicken with Sichuan pepper.

I went to Chen Family's Private Kitchen in Yurakucho! It is conveniently located near Tokyo Station and Yurakucho Station. The Mapo Tofu was spicy but very delicious! The use of Sichuan pepper was also very good! The stick dumplings and drooling chicken were also delicious and had a wide variety, so I recommend it!

Located in a corner of the Marunouchi Nakadori in the International Building. It is always crowded during lunchtime with long lines. They offer a variety of spicy dishes, mainly Sichuan cuisine such as mapo tofu. You can choose the level of spiciness, so it's suitable even for those who are not good with spicy food. On this day, I ordered the drooling chicken lunch set. The rice, soup, dessert (almond jelly), fried chicken, and salad are self-service. The drooling chicken, the main dish, was the most delicious I've ever had and became my favorite. With this volume and price at 900 yen, it's understandable why it's so popular.

I had a craving for Mapo Tofu after a long time, so I stopped by after work. Since it was required to order a drink at night, I hurriedly changed my order to dishes that could be eaten with alcohol. I ordered two spicy dishes and sweet and sour pork, which seemed like it could help relieve the tiredness from the spiciness. All three dishes were really delicious, but personally, the best one was the chicken in the third photo. I forgot the name of this dish... but the numbing spiciness from the abundant Sichuan peppercorns was really good. I will aim to try the Mapo Tofu again by coming back for lunch.

When I was returning from Tokyo and craving Chinese food, I searched and found this place. It serves Sichuan cuisine. I tried their mapo tofu, which they seem to specialize in, and it was delicious. You can choose the level of spiciness. The sesame-covered dumplings were also tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary. It's a large restaurant, so it's good for groups.

I went to "Chinka Shisai" in Yurakucho. It was a holiday, so I was able to enter without waiting in line. I ordered soy sauce ramen with pork belly on top. It was light and delicious. I finished every last drop. Next time, I'm thinking of trying the mapo tofu.

On a scorching day with temperatures exceeding 35℃, my appetite suddenly went haywire! For some reason, I decided to try a bold move by pouring stone-cooked mapo tofu over knife-cut noodles. It cost me 980 yen!! Even though I ordered it medium spicy, it turned out quite hot! And it was too hot to handle!! I did it again - that thing where I open my mouth halfway to let out the hot steam through my nose! Like a human steam engine!! You could see my breath with the naked eye!! I was sweating buckets right after eating! It reminded me of Kagero Ougin's bathing scene! The salad, soup, and fried chicken were self-service. But if you ordered noodles, it would cost an extra 100 yen to have rice. Salad and soup were limited to one serving each! And you could only have two pieces of fried chicken per person! They're a bit stingy, aren't they? In the end, mapo tofu goes best with white rice! But I resisted paying the extra 100 yen!

The menu is bright red with lots of photos, all featuring generous amounts of chili peppers, making everything look red. The specialties are mapo tofu and tantanmen. Even when ordering the soup-less tantanmen in a normal size, the portion is large. And it's spicy. I like spicy food, but if it's too spicy, I can't eat it, so I always order medium spicy. This time, even though it was medium spicy, it was still too spicy for me. For those who love spicy food and want to eat a lot, it must be irresistible. The restaurant was packed with customers of all ages and genders, with a long line forming.

After a long walk, we wanted to replenish our protein and also wanted something spicy. We searched on Tabelog and called the restaurant. When we arrived, it was packed, with many inbound customers. The location seemed great. We ordered: drooling chicken, stir-fried eggplant, butter sautéed mushrooms, shrimp mayo, dried tofu, and mapo tofu (extra spicy). The portions were generous and the service was quick. No wonder they won the spicy food competition. Everything was delicious!

Today, I went to this restaurant with a friend for the first time in a while. I had been wanting to revisit this place since I went alone before and found it delicious. When dining alone, I had limited options for ordering, but this time I tried a variety of dishes and they were all delicious. I was prepared for the mapo tofu to be very spicy based on its appearance and aroma, but it was surprisingly mild and I was able to enjoy the flavor without being overwhelmed by the spiciness. I think the taste is authentic yet suitable for Japanese people. Thank you for the meal!

China Festival "Fiery Spicy Chinese G1 Grand Prix" and "Sichuan Festival" are the three-time champion in the world of spicy gourmet led by Chef Chen of Chen's Private Kitchen. Owner Chef Chen Pangyong was born in Shanghai and came to Japan in 1988 to study Japanese. After working for Mitsui & Co. and Mitsubishi Corporation, he opened his Akasaka store in 1995 after struggling. Currently, the shop has 7 stores in Tokyo. I ordered the lunch set of the pinnacle stone pot mapo tofu for 900 yen, and they focus on soup, spices, and doubanjiang when making Sichuan cuisine. Honestly, the mapo tofu is delicious, but it's so spicy that I can't really tell. They intentionally use softer tofu for one serving. They use 25 types of spices. The salad, 3 water dumplings, rice, and almond tofu are self-serve. The almond tofu after eating the mapo tofu is exceptional. Thank you for the meal~ I'm sweating. Oh, it was spicy. The bill was 900 yen (PayPay).

I chose this restaurant because it was hot and I wanted to eat something spicy. The mapo tofu had about 4 levels of spiciness, and I chose the second spiciest level, but surprisingly it was not too spicy. The sweet and sour pork had a satisfying taste. It goes well with white rice. Finally, the cold noodles with drool chicken on top was a limited-time menu item. Since we were only two people, we couldn't order too much, so I was very happy to try this dish. There seem to be other branches of this restaurant, so I would like to visit again.

Located in the depths of the Marunouchi International Building basement. This restaurant offers authentic Sichuan cuisine at reasonable prices. It is popular among young people and is bustling both during the day and at night. You can choose the level of spiciness, so you can enjoy your meal without worry. My personal recommendations are the "drooling chicken" and the deep-fried eggplant with Sichuan pepper aroma.

I had mapo tofu for lunch. It seemed to be a busy time, but I was called in as a solo diner and got in early. Rice, soup, fried chicken, and almond jelly are self-service. When I went to get them and came back, the mapo tofu was already on the table. It's super fast. I'm not a big fan of spicy food, so medium spicy was spicy enough for me. The saliva chicken also caught my eye.

On regular days, the restaurant is lively with a good number of customers from the start. It's recommended to make a reservation. The must-try dish here is definitely the mapo tofu. Even the medium-spicy level is quite hot, but it has a really deep flavor. It goes really well with rice. Highly recommended!
