Dr. Timothy Wayne's creation, a girl-type android known as "THE DROS". Despite being described as a work of art due to its intricate beauty, it exudes an odd sense of intimidation with its dark bear-like eyes, flat expression, and blunt tone. It has superhuman physical abilities and strength, capable of feats like dodging machine gun fire and smashing walls with a single punch. Despite its emotionless appearance, it displays subtle signs of mood changes and can express joy in its own unique way. Voiced by Akiko Yajima, THE DROS is a fascinating character with a mix of beauty and enigmatic charm.
Now, let's talk about a new sweets shop called "THE DROS", opened in June 2023 by the company "Shukurei". The shop is located in Tokyo Station's Gransta and offers a variety of cheese-based baked goods like financiers, cookies, and frozen cheesecakes. The shop attracts many customers due to its novelty and the popularity of its parent company's other brands like "Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory" and "The Maple Mania". If you're a fan of cheese-infused sweets, this shop is definitely worth a visit.
Here's what I tried:
- Assorted Box: Financiers (Gorgonzola & Hazelnut, Camembert & Lemon) and Cookies (Gorgonzola & Almond). The financiers had a rich flavor of Gorgonzola cheese with hazelnuts or Camembert cheese with a hint of lemon, while the cookies combined Gorgonzola cheese with roasted almonds for a savory-sweet taste. Each treat was unique and delicious, adding to the diverse selection of cheese-based sweets available at Tokyo Station.
Overall, exploring the variety of sweets shops at Tokyo Station is a delightful experience, with new brands like "THE DROS" offering innovative and tasty creations. Enjoy your culinary adventures!

And then the prince moved to Tachikawa via Tokyo Station. This is the easiest way. It takes time though. So, he stopped by "DROS," which had just opened inside Tokyo Station on this day, and bought Tokyo Station limited, opening limited products. Here is a set of financiers and cookies. They are smaller than the regular products, more like trial sizes. If you like them, you can buy a larger box later. Both are cheese-based sweets, with Gorgonzola used in the cookies, but the blue cheese aroma is not strong, making it easy to eat thanks to the almond's fragrance. This way, you can give souvenirs without worrying too much if the recipient is not a fan of Gorgonzola. The financiers were moist and delicious, but I don't eat financiers much in my daily life, so I wasn't particularly impressed. (laughs) However, being individually wrapped makes them suitable for souvenirs. Not only during the opening, but if they also have this size box during normal times, it might be good for small souvenirs.

I found a new shop called THE DROS while walking in Gransta. It is located in the central area where sweets shops are concentrated. Since I arrived early in the morning, there was only one customer before me who was dining alone. As I was looking at the showcase, the staff explained that they use cheese and nuts in their financiers, which may be rare. I ended up buying two boxes of Gorgonzola and hazelnut financiers for 2000 yen each for my company and home, and two boxes of a limited edition Camembert and lemon financier for around 1300 yen each. I tucked them into the gaps in my bag and brought them back as souvenirs for the Sendai branch and my home in Aomori. When I had them as a tea snack, both financiers had a strong cheese flavor. Personally, I preferred the seasonal limited edition Camembert cheese and lemon financier, which had a refreshing acidity and bitterness from the lemon. The sweets area in Gransta is trendy and constantly changing with new shops, making it an area not to be missed. I was lucky to be able to use it before the lines formed this time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

A friend who loves trying new things brought me Financier cakes from Tokyo. They seem high-end with ingredients like Gorgonzola, and the nuts add a deliciously nutty and fragrant flavor. It's not just sweet, but has a sophisticated taste that makes it a great gift for adults.
