After training for 2 years at Sasaki, the owner opened the restaurant Ogawa 12 years ago. I finally had the chance to visit Ogawa again. It's still a great restaurant. The close distance at the counter, friendly service, delicious food, and drinks are all top-notch. Ogawa wanted a place where you could freely order a la carte dishes, so after trying the omakase menu, they were kind enough to accommodate our additional requests. We added dishes like karasumi pasta, karaage, and mackerel sushi. I wanted to buy some mackerel sushi as a souvenir, but unfortunately, they only served it in the restaurant. We were a small group, so we didn't open a bottle of wine this time, but I look forward to coming back with a lively group of friends to enjoy some drinks. The menu included dishes like raw sea cucumber with wood sorrel, mochi tempura with red clam butter, grilled Yoko fish with skin, fried blowfish without bones, Uoze simmered in soy sauce, katsu sandwich, white plum shellfish noodles, mushroom rice, additional karaage, mackerel sushi, karasumi pasta, dashimaki tamago, strawberry sherbet, and kumquat sherbet.
