[Service & Atmosphere] I visited during the opening hours on a Sunday and the place was already getting crowded after about 2 hours. By the time we left, all the table seats were full. Although it seemed like there were many regular customers, the staff were very friendly and made it easy for first-timers like us to feel comfortable. They even saw us off outside the restaurant.
[Food] The menu isn't extensive, but each dish seemed to be prepared with care. The sashimi wasn't thin like what you might find at a cheap izakaya, it had a good thickness to it. We also ordered some grilled skewers, and everything was delicious. I definitely want to visit again.

I was exploring in Iriya looking for a place where I could drink early in the morning, and I stumbled upon this place. The owner is young but seems tough at first glance, yet he is very kind-hearted, and most importantly, his sense of cooking and alcohol is amazing! (I will explain in the photo caption) I forgot to take a picture, but the fried chicken is insane! It's the most delicious and huge and juicy chicken I have ever eaten. It's fantastic. There seem to be many regular customers, and I felt that it is a good shop loved by the locals. Smoking is allowed outside. I will definitely go back!

The lineup of sake was excellent, and it was great to be able to compare different types of sashimi, including aged fish. The first sake we tried, Juyondai, went down smoothly and was delicious. We also enjoyed other sake selections and seasonal vegetables. The service was also excellent. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Visited around 8:00 PM on a weekday. The menu included long yam noodles as a starter, Kawasemi salad for 880 yen, a selection of aged fish and fresh fish for 1280 yen, rare-grilled domestic chicken liver for 580 yen, fresh potato fries for 480 yen, delicious ostrich sashimi for 720 yen, low-temperature cooked venison for 720 yen, rolled omelette for 550 yen, and potato salad with smoked herring for 480 yen. This restaurant specializes in aged fish and game dishes. They offer a wide variety of drinks to pair with the food. The sashimi is prepared Tsukamoto style, with a rich and sticky texture. I tried ostrich for the first time and was surprised by how easy it was to eat with no strong flavors. The low-temperature cooked venison had a sauce made from blood but was surprisingly free of any gamey taste, and had a nice French touch. The fresh potato fries were steamed before being fried, giving them a fluffy inside and crispy outside, similar to buttered potatoes from a street vendor. It was fun to try such unique dishes! Thank you for the meal! (◡ ω ◡)

Overall, the food was delicious and affordable. It was great to be able to compare aged and non-aged sashimi in a mixed platter. The flavors were rich and varied, ranging from white fish to squid and sweet shrimp. The game meat varied in intensity of flavor, likely due to the blood content. I personally didn't enjoy the strong-flavored meats, but preferred the milder ones like chicken and beef. The staff were polite, flexible, and excellent in their service.

I used the restaurant on Friday night. I was so engrossed in chatting that I didn't take many photos, but it seems to be a shop known for game meat and sashimi. The sashimi is fresh and delicious, but I wish it was cut a little larger. It's not that small, though. The wild boar cutlet tastes like a wild pork cutlet, and it's also delicious. I wish there was some improvement in the sauce. The interior of the restaurant is clean, and women can feel safe going there. I don't often go to Iriya, but when I do, this is a safe and good restaurant to go to when you're not sure where to go.

A sake shop that suddenly appeared along Showa Street, specializing in gibier and aged fish. The pricing is very reasonable and the quality is excellent! The service is also top-notch. The restaurant has a bright and clean interior with about 9 counter seats, table seats, and private rooms, suitable for various occasions. This shop recently opened on January 5th in Iriya, after relocating from the ninja mansion in Asakusa that catered to inbound tourists. The shop looked clean and inviting, so I decided to go in and before I knew it, it was fully packed with regular customers and walk-in guests. The kitchen is visible from the white counter, and with 2 chefs and 1 server, they efficiently handle the orders from the full house. The dishes I tried include: Long yam somen as the appetizer, tender low-temperature cooked deer meat, flavorful horse meat sashimi, salt-aged tuna carpaccio, homemade crab cream croquette with crab miso sauce, seared cured mackerel, and a special aged fish dashi tea rice bowl featuring a lucky appearance of aged kue fish. The attention to detail in the use of wasabi, the quality of the ingredients, and the overall dining experience left me thoroughly impressed. The dedication to wasabi was also notable, with generous portions provided in many dishes. The combination of flavors and textures in each dish was superb, and it's amazing how they managed to handle a full house with just 3 staff members.

I visited a new izakaya in Iriya that specializes in aged fish and game cuisine with a friend! The restaurant has counter seats, table seats, and semi-private room seats. You can see the chefs preparing the food, which is a nice touch. The sashimi platter allows you to compare fresh fish with aged fish, and it was delicious when eaten with salt. The wild boar meat, according to the owner, varies in texture depending on the individual as it is wild meat. It truly tastes like meat! While marbled meat is tasty, I believe that eating such wild-flavored meat can contribute to good health. The variety of sake available is extensive, making it a great choice for those who enjoy shochu and sake!

The complimentary "Nagaimo Somen" is delicious (╹◡╹) for 350 yen, and you can also order seconds. It's a hit menu for me as a fan of nagaimo. The menu is a bit limited, so it's more suited for a second stop.
