In Tokyo, I made a dinner promise in Kinshicho, which I had been overlooking from the Skytree during sightseeing. Wherever you get off in Tokyo, it's a big city. The way to the restaurant was enjoyable. Inside the lively restaurant, I was guided to my seat and when I looked at the menu, I found plenty of dishes I wanted to try. I ordered the "Legendary Special Mix Jr. 2,980 yen excluding tax" and the "Absolutely Namul 680 yen" while toasting with a "Draft Beer 580 yen". The Legendary Mix consisted of thickly sliced tongue, harami, and fillet, which the staff grilled, cut, and served. I couldn't wait to eat and kept asking, "Is it ready yet?" The meat, although thickly cut, was tender and had a strong flavor. The sauce made with daikon and green onions for the grilled meat was so delicious that I wanted to use it, but the meat was too good, so I ended up choosing lemon, salt, or wasabi. The fillet was sliced after grilling and served with garlic chips and green onions, resembling a steak. I had a conversation with the staff and found out that they also have a restaurant in Osaka, just three stations away from my home station. I was delighted. The Namul appetizer consisted of four types of Namul and Korean seaweed, and I thought it would be great if Namul around the world were like this. I hadn't tried the liver in a few years, so I ordered the "Liver 580 yen", which turned out to be a great choice. I like sweet flavors, but I don't like sweet drinks, so when I asked the staff, they recommended the "Lemon Sour 380 yen" and the "Umeboshi Sour 580 yen", both with a strong presence of lemon and umeboshi. I ordered the "Nigiri 1,280 yen", "Salted Wasabi Pork Toro 748 yen", and the "Three Types of Kimchi 680 yen", even though I was already full. I had decided from the beginning to order the "Special Meat Rice 1,180 yen", which had plenty of meat and was seasoned with my favorite grilled meat sauce. I wanted to make it into onigiri and take it home, but I ended up finishing it while eating the umeboshi from the Umeboshi Sour. For dessert, I had the "Ice Gratin 380 yen" and that concluded my meal. I realized that the impression of a restaurant can change so much with the staff's consideration. There were too many attractive menu items, so I decided to continue in Osaka while returning to the hotel. I'm glad I was able to visit the main store first.
