I had a sudden craving for negi soba, so I looked it up in the neighborhood and ended up here. It's a great place where you can try various Niigata specialties. The jumbo aburaage was surprisingly refreshing and delicious. It was packed with plenty of green onions and the one with natto sandwiched in was definitely healthy. The salt koji grilled local chicken was also delicious. I chose the medium size for the main negi soba, and when it was brought to me, the impact was big (laughs). Despite that, I was able to finish it quickly, enjoying the refreshing texture and light taste. This time, I was in the back tatami room with my child, but there are also table seats and counter seats, making it a good place to casually enjoy negi soba alone.

I wasn't really hungry, but I suggested going to a place where we could have drinks and snacks while waiting for our meeting. In the end, I ordered soba noodles. They have a wide variety of Japanese sake and shochu. By the way, the soba noodles in hot water are delicious and seem good for the body.

I wanted to eat soba in the middle of the night, so I ordered a salad with ponzu jelly and hie soba here. I also added a burnt plum topping. The ponzu jelly in the salad was exquisite and fresh, and it paired well with the salad. The soba had a good texture and a fragrant aroma, with no strong taste, and I quickly finished eating it. It was great to have soba as a late-night option, in a quiet environment without causing any stomach discomfort. The closing soba was the best.

I go to both the Shibuya and Roppongi branches. I always finish with hegi soba to leave some room in my stomach. I enjoy Akita's specialty dishes as appetizers, along with some good Japanese sake. The dishes I had were: assorted sashimi, Tochio fried chicken (a must-try), spicy fried potatoes (not too spicy), deep-fried mochi (delicious, first time trying), bone crackers, and extra-large hegi soba with lots of seaweed. The seating is limited to two hours, but the food comes out quickly so the time limit isn't a big concern.

Renowned for their buckwheat noodles, Takumi is a famous restaurant. The Roppongi branch is a first for me. Their new dish, the seaweed thick fried tofu, is delicious with plenty of green onions and a hint of seaweed flavor. I enjoyed it with some sake, dried squid, and finished off with tempura and buckwheat noodles. The true pleasure of dining at a soba restaurant. The cost performance is average, but I will definitely visit again.

I was impressed to find Okuizumo's Otaraku, which is not easily found in Tokyo. This soba restaurant also offers a variety of side dishes like Nishikyo-yaki, making it easy to enjoy sake. With delicious soba, sake, and appetizers, this place is a fantastic restaurant, whether you're looking for an izakaya or soba shop. Delicious restaurant.

The restaurant offers a variety of dishes and accepts credit card payments. They have a wide selection of alcohol, including the rare Okuizumo's Otaraku that is not commonly found in Tokyo. The Hegisoba, which I have tried a few times in Niigata, was delicious with its refreshing texture.

I attended a research meeting social gathering at this restaurant. Originally, it was supposed to be an in-person meeting, but due to the pandemic, it had been completely online, so it was the first time meeting in person in two years. It's located about a 5-minute walk from Roppongi Station on the Oedo Line. It's in the basement of a building. We had a table in a raised area at the back. The food and drinks were even more delicious than expected ^^ Since there are few staff members, you have to proactively call out to order refills or anything else.

I visited this restaurant with a friend who lives nearby to have dinner. It had a casual atmosphere and seemed to be popular among locals. I have never tried authentic hegisoba before, so I think of it as a type of food. I heard that if you go to Niigata, you must try authentic hegisoba!

Visited on a weekday night in October 2021. The underground restaurant was crowded even after 8:30 pm. As expected in Roppongi, it seems like the real fun starts late at night. I was hoping to have a quick soba meal, but it turned out to be a lively place where people enjoy drinking. It was quite a change from the subdued atmosphere due to COVID, so I was a bit taken aback. The food was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I tried eating Hegin soba for the first time. The smooth texture was good, and the flavor was different from regular soba, which made it fresh. The side dish of eggplant was juicy and sweet, and the braised pork was flavorful and delicious! Overall, it was a bit more expensive than I had imagined.

A Japanese izakaya where you can enjoy Niigata's local cuisine. It's my third or fourth visit, about a year since my last. They have several types of sake available at all times, and it's a relatively quiet and relaxing place to drink. - Draft beer x3 690 yen each - Lemon sour x2 - Sake (Midori Kawa) 1 go 870 yen - Sake (Kagetora) 1 go 980 yen - Hegi soba 2,670 yen - Grilled miso 540 yen - Soba seed croquette 720 yen - Noppe 650 yen - Tochio fried tofu (with leek miso & leek seaweed) 1,250 yen The Tochio fried tofu with sake is a must-try. You can choose from leek miso, leek seaweed, or natto as fillings, and they have half sizes available. The miso with a strong flavor is the most popular. The grilled miso tastes like burnt miso. It may not be enough as a snack, but it goes well with sake for a relaxing drink. It's nice to be able to eat Hegi soba here. They have sizes for individuals as well as for groups, but the prices are a bit high. When you come to a Niigata restaurant, you want to eat this as a finishing touch.

We used it as a second place for a meal with our family. I tried "hegisoba" for the first time and it was delicious! There were various types of dipping sauces, so I was indecisive (lol). I ordered the sudachi and cheese ones, and they were delicious! Thank you for the meal.

This is a soba restaurant that is open until late at night and serves alcohol. I often use it when I play on the Midtown side. The Shibuya branch is close to my home, so I often go there, but all the branches are consistently delicious. Sashimi and other dishes go well with alcohol. The Roppongi branch is often crowded at night, as it is commonly used for after-parties. There are plenty of seats, so you can relax. Smoking is not allowed, so you need to go outside (which can be inconvenient as it is underground).

Late night in Roppongi, there are plenty of open restaurants where you can satisfy your cravings. If you're in the mood for soba noodles and thick fried tofu, this place is highly recommended. The soba noodles were delicious, especially late at night. And their "Specialty! Jumbo Fried Tofu" is incredibly thick and flavorful. For more detailed food reviews, check out my blog.

Soba noodles originating from the Uonuma region of Niigata Prefecture. These noodles use a seaweed called funori as a binder and are served in a dish called hegi. Originally, because wasabi was not available, they were served with chopped green onions, asatsuki, and mustard as condiments. The noodles are smooth and delicious. I will try different types of soba noodles next time. Unfortunately, my chopsticks broke, and the way they broke was quite embarrassing... Please excuse me. ⭐️Recommended Menu: Hegi Soba

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant a few times for social gatherings with my colleagues. It was located right next to the Roppongi office, and it seemed to be the president's favorite. The food was delicious every time I went. The soba noodles at the end of the meal were refreshing and satisfying. Enjoying soba noodles while slightly tipsy in Roppongi at night was a great experience. Additionally, the restaurant stays open late, so it's perfect for a late-night meal. Thank you for the wonderful times back then.

I remember coming to Midtown late at night a while ago to meet up with friends. We had jun-sai, hotaruika okizuke, cream cheese with sake lees, shishamo, and bone-in dishes. We ate quite a bit while chatting, but unfortunately, no pictures. The fried tofu with green onions was really delicious! Topping off with hikiwari natto and enjoying some sake, we finished with hegisoba. Good food and drinks make a great combination!

I visited this restaurant for the first time. I was surprised to find out that there was an additional charge of 500 yen for the table charge and appetizer, which made the meal quite expensive. However, the soba noodles were really delicious, and the tempura shrimp was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The waiter, who seemed inexperienced, tried to help by pushing my chair in as I sat at the counter, but unfortunately, the timing was off and I ended up pinching my heel between the chair legs, which was very painful. I believe they were just trying to be helpful, so I endured the pain. If it was just based on the taste of the soba noodles, I would rate it a 4.5.

There are no photos as it was a company dinner. Atmosphere: average Access: average Service: average Taste: average Course price: cheap Portion size: large
It is suitable for those who value cost performance, but not for those who prioritize quality over quantity. I recommend the all-you-can-drink option for those who drink a lot. The price per drink is somewhat expensive.

It was a all-you-can-drink course, but the appetizers and sashimi were delicious, and the closing dish of Hegasoba was of course delicious. The sake, including Niigata's local sake and Tomonohako Yama, was all-you-can-drink, which felt cost-effective. If only the limit of one glass of draft beer per person could be improved.
