Oysters are cheap and delicious! It is located right outside the ticket gate of Yoyogi-Uehara Station. It is a small place, and if you line up around lunchtime, you can usually get in within about 30 minutes. They use a ticket machine system, so if you pass the time at the nearby Kaldi, you can get in quickly.

I usually visit this place alone in the late afternoon. I always imagine there will be a line, but this time I was able to get in without waiting. The taste is consistently delicious. It is conveniently located inside the station, so it is easy to access and doesn't take much time to enjoy. I would like to visit again, along with the main branch, Midori Sushi.

I wanted to eat sushi for my birthday celebration, so I requested to go to Midori Sushi, a famous sushi restaurant along the Odakyu Line. It's conveniently located in the station area, so it was easy to access. Although reservations are not accepted, we arrived before 6 o'clock and were able to sit at a table without waiting. We placed our orders using a tablet, and the food came smoothly without any long wait times as mentioned in some reviews. We enjoyed dishes like crab miso salad, a comparison of fresh oysters, conch, grilled conger eel, simmered mero fish, and bonito sashimi. I was quite satisfied with these dishes, so I ordered sushi a la carte while my husband opted for a set menu. I don't drink alcohol, so I mainly focused on the food, but I was able to enjoy a variety of dishes to my heart's content. The simmered dish was the most delicious, and the pickled ginger that came with the sushi was also exquisite. There was a good selection of sake available, and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. We ended up spending less than we had expected, and we were very satisfied. I would love to visit again.

I finally went to Bitosushi! Actually, I have been familiar with Bitosushi in Umegaoka since I was a child and used to eat there often, so I was very happy when it opened in Yoyogi-Uehara. I ordered the lunch set for 2,200 yen. It came with chawanmushi and I could eat anago, otoro, amaebi, hotate, all for this price, which is definitely a great deal. The sushi had large and satisfying toppings, true to Bitosushi style. I went on a Sunday around 2 pm and had to wait for about 3 people, but I was seated quickly. The waiting time was convenient as I could pass the time in the station.

I passed by around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and it was not crowded, so I decided to go in for the first time. The place seemed newly opened and the operation seemed a bit chaotic. The counter had a strange layout, it felt cramped and not very user-friendly. I ordered a sake called Ayumasa and chose the recommended dishes, which were hoya vinegar and raw bluefin tuna. The hoya vinegar seemed like a good deal at 550 yen. The bluefin tuna was surprisingly bland... I wonder why? Each piece was very lightly flavored. For nigiri sushi, I chose sardine, horse mackerel, red clam, large scallop, and surprising salmon roe. Despite the season, the sardine and horse mackerel were a bit disappointing. The scallop and salmon roe made good snacks with the sake. I was starting to feel full, so I paid with my Suica card.

There is a sushi restaurant that you can reach in 20 seconds by walking 50 meters from Yoyogi Uehara Station. The taste is definitely delicious. I sat at the counter. Despite the busy and full restaurant, I received polite service. Thank you.

First visit. I went for lunch on the weekend. I arrived a little early, around 11:30, and it was full, so I got a numbered ticket and waited for a while. Inside, it was bustling with families. I ordered a lunch set and some individual items. The set came with chawanmushi. The 11-piece sushi had slightly larger toppings, and with the additional individual order, I was satisfied. It's a convenient place to casually dine with family. I didn't check if the takeout menu is the same as the one in Umegaoka, so I'll have a look next time I visit. Thank you for the meal!

In April 2023, Midori Sushi opened in the newly renovated Yoyogi Uehara Station building. One of its unique features is the system of serving sushi in smaller portions at the counter seats, allowing you to enjoy it before it dries out. I ordered the Hanamaru lunch for 2,200 yen, which was a great deal with luxurious toppings like uni and chu-toro. I also tried the Hiramuki isobeyaki and maguro cheek meat steak as appetizers. The Maruef beer was a nice surprise, and the complimentary cold and rich green tea was a nice touch. While the selection of appetizers is limited, the lack of long lines and focus on sushi make it a good choice for a sushi-centric lunch. #TokyoGourmet #TokyoSushi #ShibuyaGourmet #ShibuyaSushi #YoyogiUeharaGourmet #YoyogiUeharaLunch #MidoriSushi #SushiLovers #SushiNomidori #SushiLoversWanted #SushiFansWanted #TokyoSushi #ShibuyaSushi

Lunch and dinner times are very crowded, but if you go outside of peak hours, you can get in with a 10-15 minute wait. The restaurant is still new and clean. I chose the counter seat, but I wished they had seated me at a table if one was available first. The taste is good overall. The sushi rice is well seasoned, and the toppings like salmon, scallops, and tuna are fresh and satisfying. The gunkan sushi has crispy seaweed, and the ikura bursts in your mouth with a sweet taste. The uni also has a nice sweetness to it. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. However, the seared wagyu beef was disappointing. It lacked a good texture and did not melt in the mouth as expected. The drink menu is decent, but the white wine from Otaru was not great. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced, including the sushi chefs who were not particularly friendly or polite. Overall, it's a good place to enjoy affordable and tasty sushi, especially if you're dining alone.

Lunch was delicious and reasonably priced at 1650 yen. The weekday lunch special was seasonal and came with miso soup and chawanmushi. I arrived at 11:03 and had to wait for about 10 minutes as there were 3 groups ahead of me. I was seated promptly once it was my turn. It wasn't that the restaurant was full, but rather the chef was preparing for the next customers. They open at 11:00, but the ticket distribution machine operates from 10:00 in the morning to 16:00 in the evening.

Have you ever been to Midorizushi in Akasaka or Futakotamagawa? I visited their new brand called "Shun" for the first time. My impression is that the menu is slightly different. The service is polite. The environment of the restaurant is, needless to say, clean. The taste is consistent. However, I ordered the premium tuna course and found that there were too many sinews in the tuna, making it a bit difficult to eat. If I have the chance, I will visit again.

I really like Midori Sushi. I have been to multiple stores, including those outside of Tokyo, and I think it is one of the top chain sushi restaurants. The quality of sushi, as well as the cleanliness of the beer glasses and servers, is impeccable, which is rare for a chain restaurant. This time, I visited the Yoyogi-Uehara store, which is a new location. The quality of the sushi and beer was excellent as usual. However, the service level at this store was significantly lower compared to other Midori Sushi locations. The efficiency was lacking, and when I tried to order from a server, I was told to talk to the sushi chef instead. The chefs were already busy making sushi and taking orders, so it seemed like a strange system. The Japanese server seemed tense as well. This experience left me puzzled as I have always loved Midori Sushi. I hope they can improve their service. Overall score: 10/15.

A new sushi restaurant has opened in the Yoyogi-Uehara station building. The sushi is not too thick, but just the right thickness and delicious. They have numbered tickets for easy ordering. You can enjoy freshly made sushi at the counter, and they also offer a variety of appetizers. There were groups of people enjoying sushi and drinks at the table seats. The sushi was delicious, reasonably priced, and overall very good!

"Akorude Yoyogiuehara" at Yoyogiuehara Station reopened on 4/28. They mainly serve sushi sets. The quality and size of the sushi are excellent, as expected from Bitouri. They also offer unique types of sushi that you won't find at high-end restaurants, which adds to the enjoyment. You can eat until you're full for less than 5,000 yen per person. Bitouri is definitely the top choice for enjoying delicious sushi in a casual setting."

"I visited the popular sushi restaurant 'Ano Mitosushi' in Yoyogi-Uehara in mid-May, a little while after its opening on April 28th. This was my first time dining here. The system where they contact you via Line when your turn is near is convenient, but the staff on the floor, who seemed like part-time workers, were not very attentive. There were two chefs making sushi, but they seemed to be struggling to keep up with the number of customers. Orders are placed using a tablet, but there is a limit to the number of dishes you can order at once, so I had to place multiple orders. However, there was a long wait between receiving the first and second orders. This naturally extended the length of my stay. The quality of the food was decent, with generous portions for the price. I couldn't understand why this place is so popular. Personally, I didn't see the value in waiting 1-2 hours, but I might consider revisiting when it's less crowded or when reservations are available."
