I had the chicken and tonkotsu ramen at "The Sun Will Rise Again" in Fushimi Inari, Kyoto. The broth was a bit rich but had a creamy flavor that was easy to eat and delicious as it coated the noodles. I usually don't like heavy broths, but this one was easy to eat and I found myself drinking it even after finishing the noodles.

The taste was different from Tenkaippin, and it was very delicious. It seemed to replenish energy in my body after walking in the hot weather. The char siu had a nice seasoning and the saltiness was just right. It would have been perfect if there were napkins or tissues to wipe my mouth! Thank you for the meal.

On a regular day at 11:10, it was not crowded. The restaurant is called "Toritonkotsu" but I forgot the prices haha. They have a ticket machine with a touch panel where you can select toppings like garlic. The chicken white broth seems to be their specialty, and they also offer mixed variations with seafood, tsukemen, and more. I decided to go with something traditional for now! It was ready in about 5 minutes. The soup... yes, it's chicken white broth. The pork bone broth is rich, I think? The noodles... they are medium-thin straight noodles. Hmm... something feels lacking. Maybe adding garlic would be good. Also, I couldn't find any tissues nearby. Maybe the English signs are because of the area? I wonder what foreigners would think about this place.

Today, I finished work at Fushimi Inari at 11:30 and decided to have ramen! I had researched Fushimi Inari Ramen, which had top ratings. It seemed to cater to foreign tourists, with lots of information in English. If the reviews on Tabelog weren't good, I definitely wouldn't have gone in. However, the service was quick, and I ordered the chicken and pork bone ramen with a seasoned egg and a half-size extra noodles. I was in and out of the restaurant in 13 minutes, fast enough to make a work call on the way back. The taste reminded me of Tenkaippin, which I haven't had in a while. Honestly, I was a bit concerned about the smell based on reviews, but the taste was so good that I agreed with the overall positive reviews. Next time I visit this restaurant, I want to try a different flavor, but I'll probably end up ordering the chicken and pork bone ramen again.

Thin noodles. Rich ramen for 1100 yen + half-boiled seasoned egg for 100 yen and noodle replacement for 150 yen. Parking lot is across the street, which is convenient. The photo of the half-boiled seasoned egg showed it with extra chashu, but it was different in reality, so a bit disappointing. The flavor was not too strong, with a rich soup that was delicious. The aged chashu also paired well with the ramen.

I lined up 5 minutes before the store opened on Saturday, July 29th. My friend and I ordered the chicken and pork bone ramen, the fish and pork bone ramen, and some dumplings. We also added a topping of Wagyu beef, which they recently started offering. The chicken and pork bone ramen had a creamy and rich soup with a deep flavor, while the fish and pork bone ramen had the added flavor of fish powder. Both were delicious and paired well with the noodles. Some people might find the ramen a bit heavy on the stomach, but personally, I really enjoyed the flavors. The Wagyu beef topping was well-prepared roast beef with just the right amount of fat, making it very tasty. The dumplings were small and bite-sized, with a crispy thin skin. I would love to visit this place again when I come back to Kyoto.

Fushimi Inari Ramen ◇ Ramen ◇ [38 Shin-kusa Ichi-no-tsubo, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto City] Just a minute west from Fushimi Inari Station, you will find "Ra-men The Sun Will Rise Again" on the left. At 11:30 am on a weekday, the restaurants near the station are bustling with inbound tourists. The popular restaurant I wanted to go to had a line of nearly 10 people, so I decided to try this place which had no line. Upon entering the restaurant, I saw a group of tourists (4 people) in front of the ticket machine. It seemed like a difficult task for foreigners to insert bills into the machine, as they might not be used to it. Fortunately, the Roman alphabet on the machine was hard to understand even for Japanese people (laughs). ◆ Pork & Chicken Broth Ramen (950 yen) I sat at the counter and waited for my order. It took 12 minutes for the ramen to be ready. "Itadakimasu" - I said, as I was served two beautifully arranged slices of pork, seaweed, green onions, and shiitake mushrooms. The soup was creamy and light, with no strong pork flavor (which I surprisingly enjoyed). I added some black pepper from the table, which enhanced the flavor even more. As I finished my meal, the restaurant was almost full of satisfied customers. "Gochisousama deshita" - I said, expressing my gratitude for the delicious meal.

I went on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Kyoto. I visited Fushimi Inari Shrine first thing in the morning, hiked partway up the mountain, enjoyed walking around the area, and then headed to a restaurant that had been featured on Instagram, only to find it fully booked. Feeling a bit disappointed, I decided to look up delicious ramen in Kyoto, and this shop was the top hit. Since it had just opened, there were hardly any customers. The chicken and pork bone ramen was perfect for my tired body. It was rich but not too heavy, making it very easy to eat. I almost finished the soup completely. I definitely want to go back when I visit Kyoto again. The only thing that caught my attention was the unique smell of the restaurant, but the delicious food made up for it.

I came near Fushimi Inari for work and decided to try a popular new place. I arrived at 12 o'clock and the restaurant was almost full. They informed me that the noodles would take a little time to cook. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the person next to me, who arrived a few minutes after me, was served their tsukemen before me. I waited patiently and finally got my order. The noodles were delicious as expected. The dipping sauce seemed to be pork bone based and quite rich. The meat was rare, which I liked. The broth had a slightly unique taste that may not appeal to everyone. I resisted getting a large portion and managed to finish my meal. I deducted one star for being served out of order.

Chicken tonkotsu ramen for 950 yen plus a gyoza set for 450 yen. The chicken tonkotsu broth had a nice foam on top, which was delicious! The noodles were also cooked perfectly and tasted great! Despite being tonkotsu, it was actually lighter than I expected.

There is a goal to try all the Jiro-style ramen in Kyoto, so I deliberately chose a slightly milder Jiro based on word of mouth rather than the main menu. It was exactly as described. However, for those who are new to eating Jiro-style ramen or those who don't like the heavy oil, this might be a good option.

I had the chicken and pork bone ramen. I was able to park in the only parking spot in the lot, which opened 10 minutes before. It was a weekday afternoon. The ramen arrived in about 5-10 minutes after ordering. It was a beautifully made ramen, despite being pork bone, it had a refined and easy-to-eat flavor. It wasn't too rich. The soup was so delicious that I want to come back for more.

I finally went to a famous ramen shop that I've always wanted to visit, thanks to its opening timing. I ordered the chicken and pork bone ramen. The balance of chicken and pork broth was good, and it coated the noodles well, making it delicious. The pork rice bowl had a nice flavor too. The service was attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the fancy disposable chopsticks added a nice touch. It's no wonder this ramen shop has been popular for a long time. Thank you for the meal.

I decided to visit this shop after work for the first time in a while. When I entered the shop, I saw many foreign tourists and it was full. I found a menu item called "Hi wa Mata Jiro 300g" (950 yen) which is only available at night, so I purchased it along with the topping "cheese" (100 yen) from the ticket machine. I ordered it with garlic, normal amount of lard, and vegetables. The bowl came with bean sprouts, chopped green onions, cheese, lard, and plenty of coarsely ground pepper on top. The soup had a thick, creamy texture from emulsified pork bones, a savory aroma from dried fish, and richness from the lard. The soy sauce acidity and saltiness were mild, but the strong flavor of the coarsely ground pepper added a spicy kick. The noodles were the typical thick and chewy kind found in Jiro-style ramen, with a rich wheat aroma that complemented the soup well. The chashu was thickly sliced pork shoulder, tender and flavorful. The cheese melted into the noodles and soup, creating a creamy and flavorful combination with the garlic. This ramen had a Jiro-inspired style with a unique touch from the shop, and it was delicious.

I had chicken and pork bone ramen and pork bowl with sauce. The ramen had a perfect balance of sweetness and spiciness, with the noodles coated well in the soup. The pork bowl had thinly sliced but substantial meat with a delicious sweet and spicy sauce. I thought the pork was only on top, but there was another layer underneath, like a two-story building. This was also delicious!

I used it when I went to Fushimi Inari. The Triton Pork Bone Soup was amazing! I was impressed by how delicious it was in just one bite! In addition, the Chinese soba (clear broth), mixed soba (with a strong black pepper flavor), and tsukemen (similar to mixed soba with firm noodles) were all delicious. As someone who likes tonkotsu ramen, I was particularly impressed with the Triton Pork Bone Soup this time. I am grateful for the connection to Fushimi Inari!

Visited alone during the day and had the chicken and pork bone ramen. Lunch comes with free rice. It was a powerful dish that completely ignored calories. The moment it touched my lips, the rich soup exploded. The soy sauce flavor is strong, with layers of chicken, pork bone, and soy sauce. I knew I was exceeding my calorie intake, but I couldn't help but drink the soup. Thank you for the meal! 🎵
