Monja restaurant in Tsukishima is known for its seafood monja-yaki and delicious side dishes! The store has recently been renovated and is very clean with friendly service. They have many original dishes on the menu, making it hard to choose what to order. The variety of drinks is also impressive, and all the dishes were incredibly tasty!

Tsukishima Monja Street - I always get excited every time I visit! I went with a former colleague of 10 years. The bright white wood, noren curtain, and modern and clean interior give off a fresh and newly opened vibe. It has been a year since they opened. The cleanliness is well maintained. Besides monja, they have a wide variety of side dishes! The specially selected scallop iso-yaki for 900 yen was surprisingly big! The fishmonger with a 149-year history operates the store, so the seafood is exceptionally delicious! Katsuwo tataki from Toyosu for 980 yen is grilled right in front of you with plenty of leeks and myoga. It's delicious with the seasonal fat. Mushroom ajillo for 560 yen is sizzling on the iron plate. You can add baguette for an extra 200 yen. Eel, foie gras, and round eggplant from Osuka Shoten for 1580 yen is a great deal for these ingredients! It's grilled in front of you with skillful hands, melting in your mouth. Chicken meatball with cartilage in moon-viewing style for 880 yen is carefully grilled in front of you. Iberico pork tonpei-yaki for 880 yen has fatty Iberico pork and soft cabbage. Mentaiko mochi from Osuka Shoten for 1580 yen with cheese topping. The balance of ingredients is exquisite, creating a delicious burnt rice. Kuu-ya Special Tamago for 1900 yen is a thick okonomiyaki with yakisoba and half-cooked egg on top. The broth is made from 8 types of seafood and chicken bones, providing a deep umami flavor. Seasonal sorbet for 400 yen and custard cream and chocolate roll for 800 yen. The staff bakes all the dessert rolls. They skillfully prepared each dish deliciously. They have a wide selection of wines, especially impressive champagne available by the glass. They kindly accommodated our request for warm tea, and the dishes were mildly flavored, allowing us to adjust with table salt and other seasonings. I still want to try more monja and seafood dishes, so I would like to revisit.

I visited this restaurant again only 2 or 3 days after my last visit. This time, I tried the tantan sesame monja that caught my eye last time. It was very delicious. This restaurant not only offers monja and okonomiyaki but also other menu items that are very tasty, especially the seafood dishes. This time, I had the bonito tataki. Next time, I plan to challenge myself with the scallop isobe-yaki. The restaurant is small and there are no partitions, so you can hear conversations from other tables. This might be a bit distracting, but it also makes the atmosphere more casual and comfortable. The fact that all seats are non-smoking is a plus. I will definitely visit again.

Weekend drinking enthusiasts gather at Tsukishima... Today, I invited my drinking buddies to "Tsukishima Monja Kuuya" in Tsukishima! First, we cheers with a draft beer (The Premium Malt's)!! It was scorching hot today, so this one glass provides some much-needed relief. This restaurant not only offers monja and okonomiyaki, but also has a great selection of teppanyaki dishes, so we decided to start with teppanyaki. [Seared Bonito in front of you] Fresh bonito appears!! Seared on the teppan with olive oil and garlic, then finished with ginger, myoga, shiso, garlic chips, and ponzu sauce on top!! This is incredibly delicious... Next drink is a whole lemon shochu highball!! With frozen lemon chunks inside, the flavor is delightful. Perfect for this hot season!! [Mahi-Mahi Fritters with Raviole Sauce] Mahi-mahi wrapped in spring roll skin and fried to make fritters. The flaky texture of the mahi-mahi is wonderful. For an additional drink, we have Sogabeer et Fils!! It's refreshing with a hint of sweetness. [Eel, Foie Gras, and Round Eggplant] Eel, foie gras, and round eggplant grilled on the teppan, then stacked in that order. The mix of eel and foie gras flavors is delicious!! Finally, we switch from teppanyaki to monja mode!! [Mentaiko Rice Cake] A monja classic!! Mentaiko and rice cake combo!! The chewy texture of the rice cake and the flavor of mentaiko make this monja irresistible... [Shrimp and Avocado] Includes red shrimp, mozzarella cheese, and avocado. The aroma of the shrimp and the taste of avocado are delightful. For an additional drink, we have Hakurakusei!! And after monja, we move on to okonomiyaki. [Kuuya Special Tamago] Includes yam, Japanese yam, squid, octopus, shrimp, scallop, noodles, and egg, very filling!! This will definitely fill you up. For dessert, we have [Custard Cream and Chocolate Roll] Indulge in the sweetness of custard cream and chocolate...

I used this restaurant for a reunion with high school classmates that I hadn't seen in over a year. Neither my friend nor I are from Tokyo, so we couldn't make okonomiyaki ourselves, but the staff at this restaurant made it beautifully for us, which was great. It was delicious. One common thing about okonomiyaki is that you can get so caught up in conversation that you end up burning it, but the staff here kept an eye on the griddle's temperature, adjusting it as needed, so we felt at ease. While I was tempted by the top menu item, the tantan sesame okonomiyaki, this time I went with the reliable and delicious mentaiko mochi cheese. It was consistently tasty. Next time, I'll try the tantan sesame okonomiyaki. In addition to okonomiyaki, there are plenty of teppanyaki options on the menu, all of which seem delicious. The staff will cook everything for you. The menu isn't extensive, but the quality is top-notch. It's a place where you can't go wrong with any choice. I'll definitely be back.

I felt like eating monjayaki after a long time and decided to visit the Toyosu Market branch of a restaurant directly managed by a wholesaler established in Meiji 4. It had been a while since I last visited the monja street in Tsukishima, and it was crowded with people! The restaurant had a mature atmosphere, unlike the typical downtown monjayaki places, and you could enjoy champagne and teppanyaki quietly. It's a recommended spot for a date. Cheers with Veuve and teppanyaki, what a great combination! The Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label from France was delightful. The private booth was comfortable. We had Katsuo no Tataki from Tsukiji Market right in front of us, cooked on a hot plate. It was delicious and had no fishy smell. The Me-hikari fried from Osuka Shoten with Ravigote sauce was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and it also had no unpleasant smell. The roasted lobster was served with American sauce, and it was so succulent. The special scallops were grilled thickly and were delicious with nori, wasabi, and soy sauce. The Iberico pork tonpei-yaki was cooked until crispy without using any flour, making it a light and recommended dish. The whole lemon was frozen, so it didn't get diluted. Crushing the lemon made it even more delicious, and there was a generous amount of lemon in it. The monja with tantan sesame was intriguing, and I chose the Mentaiko mochi from Osuka Shoten. It was nice that they made it for us, even though we didn't know how to do it. When the mochi became crispy, it was ready to eat. Sometimes, mochi would come out, making it delicious. There was also risotto, and they surprised us by bringing out a hidden sake. I enjoyed everything I ate and would like to try everything on the menu. It was good that I made a reservation in advance because it quickly became full. I will definitely visit again. It's hot every day, but for some reason, my friends and I decided to go eat teppanyaki at Kuya in Tsukishima! When it comes to monjayaki in Tsukishima, it may sound too typical, but this restaurant has a very stylish atmosphere that caught our attention. The interior is bright and yet has a calm atmosphere, which is nice. We started with a toast with Moet & Chandon! We first tried the "Special Scallop Iso Maki," and the scallops were impressively large! The quality was top-notch, and the flavors were amazing. Next, we had the "Eel, Foie Gras, and Eggplant" dish, which was delicious. The eel and foie gras were perfectly balanced in flavor. We also enjoyed the "Iberico Pork Dice Steak," which was simple yet flavorful. The "Whole Lemon" drink was refreshing, and we could even get refills of just the lemon. For the main dish, we tried the "Mentaiko Monjayaki," which had a unique preparation with a delicious broth and high-quality mentaiko. The taste was exceptional. We also had the "Beef Tendon Konjac" okonomiyaki, which was flavorful and filled with green onions. Lastly, we enjoyed the "Custard Cream and Chocolate Roll" dessert, which was prepared right in front of us. Overall, the food at Kuya was delicious and satisfying. Highly recommended for those who love good food!

I went to Tsukishima to eat monjayaki! It's been years since I last visited Tsukishima! I've been to eat monjayaki a few times before. Tsukishima is known for monjayaki, right? The shopping street is lined with monjayaki shops! Among them, there is a clean and stylish restaurant called "Kuuya" located in the shopping street of "Mai" that stands out from other stores. I went there! It reopened this week (Monday). The interior has a luxurious Japanese atmosphere. They serve seafood sourced every morning from the main store "Ozuka Shoten" in Tsukiji, which is their specialty! From the drink menu, I ordered a whole lemon for ¥700. The glass was filled with "lemon ice" made from frozen lemon slices! It's packed with vitamin C! It's refreshing and delicious, but the alcohol kicks in quickly. Looking at the food menu, monjayaki is not the main dish, but other side dishes and seafood teppanyaki look delicious! While asking the staff for recommendations, we started with the seared bonito from Tsukiji for ¥980. Instead of a prepared dish, they rolled the raw bonito on the teppan, searing the surface. Then, it was brought back in this shape! It was topped with crunchy myoga, ginger, shiso, and garlic chips, with a thick slice of bonito underneath. It was fresh and delicious, with great presentation and preparation! Next, we tried the mehikari fritters from Ozuka Shoten for ¥880. It was different from what I had imagined! It was like a spring roll with crispy skin and juicy meat inside. It was recommended as well! We also had scallops. Since this restaurant offers fresh seafood, we went for a seafood feast! We tried the special scallop grilled with soy sauce for ¥900. It was a luxurious treat! We wrapped the scallops in seaweed after drizzling soy sauce. It was a luxurious experience! The monjayaki menu was also unique. The only classic dish seemed to be the mentaiko mochi. I tried the seafood pescatore risotto for ¥1,680! It was served with prawns, scallops, octopus, squid, mussels, rice, and garlic, and it was cooked skillfully on the teppan. The cabbage was cut into large pieces, retaining its texture, which was nice! The garlic aroma and chili pepper spiciness added a nice touch! The seafood broth risotto with plenty of special tomato sauce was delicious. The cheese melted beautifully. I enjoyed the seafood I love so much. The quality of the vegetables and seafood was evident, and everything exceeded my expectations! I definitely want to visit this restaurant again! It seems they will open in Shibuya in the fall, so it will be easier to visit. This monjayaki was too delicious!

After leaving Haneda Airport, I arrived at Tsukishima. Whenever I come to Tokyo, I always make sure to stop by Tsukishima. The first monjayaki restaurant I visited was "Kuuya." The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, although it doesn't have many seats. I ordered the mentaiko butter shoyu monjayaki, which had shiso and onions inside, adding a nice accent to the dish. The nori sprinkled on top later had a great flavor as well, making it delicious. It's a taste that is hard to find at other restaurants.

On December 27, 2018, I visited this restaurant for the first time with two friends. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Tsukishima Station, on Monja Street. I had previously visited their sister restaurants, Hanare in Tsukishima and Mokichi in Asakusa, and they completely changed my cheap image of monjayaki. This restaurant is directly managed by Otsuka, a fish market with a 148-year history founded in 1871 in Tsukiji, now relocated to Toyosu. Therefore, their handling of seafood is top-notch, and I was eager to try their seafood dishes. The broth they use is a luxurious blend of Hokkaido kelp, grilled flying fish, bonito flakes, saury flakes, mackerel flakes, and chicken bones. It's a far cry from the days when monjayaki was just made with flour. We made a reservation for 5:00 pm and arrived at the restaurant. The place is cozy, with warm lighting and jazz music playing in the background, creating a stylish and calm atmosphere. All the teppanyaki and monjayaki dishes are cooked by the staff. This time, the manager cooked for us. I learned that only about half of the monjayaki restaurants in Tsukishima have the staff cook for you, so it's a good point to consider when choosing a restaurant. Of course, you can try cooking it yourself, but it's better to leave it to the professionals. The dishes we tried included Hirota Bay oysters butter grilled from Iwate (1380 yen), which were so big and juicy that it felt like a waste to cook them. The buttery oysters were delicious. We also had grilled cheek meat of fresh bluefin tuna from Nagasaki (980 yen), which looked like beef when cooked. It was incredibly tasty. The highlight was the red sea bream (2980 yen), dried to intensify its flavor. It was delicious and a must-try. The restaurant's salted fish roe (720 yen) was also excellent, with a mild saltiness and fresh texture. It's a perfect accompaniment to sake. We also tried the mentaiko rice cake monjayaki with two types of cheese toppings (1580 yen + 270 yen), which had a nice crunch from the cabbage and a sweet flavor from the onions. The two types of cheese, mozzarella and freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, were a luxurious addition. For drinks, we had Premium Malt's beer (630 yen), lemon sour (600 yen), whiskey highball (550 yen), and Dassai junmai daiginjo sake from Yamaguchi (850 yen). The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious, changing my perception of monjayaki. The quality of the seafood dishes was outstanding. The hospitality was also impeccable. This restaurant sets itself apart from traditional monjayaki places, offering creative monjayaki and seafood teppanyaki, making it a "neo-monjayaki restaurant." Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited "Tsukishima Monja Kuuya" around 7:00 pm on a Saturday in December 2018. Located about a 3-4 minute walk from Tsukishima Station, this restaurant is situated along Monja Street, where many monja-yaki shops are gathered. The clean interior was about 80% full of customers. I sat at a table for two, enjoying beer and wine while watching the staff cook the dishes on the teppan grill in front of us. We started with the Caprese with a hint of shiso for ¥780, which was not your typical Caprese as it was cooked on the teppan grill and sprinkled with salt and pepper. It was quite delicious. Next, we tried the Butter-grilled oysters from Hirota Bay, Iwate for ¥1,380, which were recommended by the manager. The large oysters were cooked right in front of us and had a rich and flavorful taste. The restaurant's confidence in their seafood supply, sourced from their fish wholesaling background, was evident. We also ordered the Seafood Camembert Monja for ¥1,880, a creative dish featuring squid chanja, mussels, and camembert cheese. The squid chanja added a unique touch to the dish, and the seafood was delicious. The Grilled cod marinated in miso for ¥880 was cooked by the staff in front of us and had a perfect sear. The quality of the cod was excellent. The Seafood Ajillo for ¥1,080 was a hot pot filled with plenty of seafood cooked to perfection. It was a great accompaniment to wine. Lastly, we tried the Seafood Pescatore Risotto Monja for ¥1,680, a tomato-based monja topped with grated lemon zest. The lemon flavor added a nice touch to the dish, and the seafood ingredients were tasty. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience trying creative monja dishes and seafood at this restaurant. The friendly male manager provided excellent customer service, preparing dishes in front of the customers with great hospitality. While I wished there were more snack options available, I was overall satisfied with the experience.

I felt like eating Monjayaki, so I asked my friend who lives in Tsukishima for recommendations. They suggested this place, which seems to have a long history but the interior looks quite new after renovation! I love Monjayaki, but I always worry about the smell lingering on my clothes after leaving a restaurant. However, this place had space under the chairs to store our belongings and jackets, and the ventilation was decent. The teppanyaki was also delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is not very spacious, so I recommend making a reservation.

Lunchtime drinking on this day was in Tsukishima. When you think of Tsukishima, there's only one thing that comes to mind - Monjayaki! I visited a restaurant somewhere in Monja Street (there are just too many Monja restaurants in this area, I can never remember which one is which) and the place was very clean and new. We tried the following dishes: - Fresh Oyster with Butter (1380 yen): I've been wanting to try this dish for a while and this season I finally got the chance. The oysters were big and delicious, cooked with butter and soy sauce on the hot plate. The aroma was heavenly and the oysters were fresh and juicy. The grilled leeks around the oysters were also delicious. - Mentaiko Rice Cake Monjayaki (1580 yen) with 2 types of cheese topping (280 yen): A classic Monjayaki dish with spicy cod roe. We added cheese topping and the combination was amazing. The cabbage was chopped just right to enjoy its texture. The mentaiko on top of the cabbage was a luxurious touch. The cheese melted on top added a nice flavor. - Meat and Shrimp Dumplings (680 yen): We also tried these dumplings to finish off our meal. The shrimp flavor wasn't very strong, but the texture was great. We also had bottled beer (Akasaka) and a few highballs with oolong tea. The restaurant may be small, but the staff was attentive and the experience was enjoyable and delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I came to Tsukishima because I wanted to eat Monjayaki. This time, I visited "Tsukishima Monja Kuuya" in the Tsukishima 3rd shopping street. They specialize in dashi monja, so I decided to try their Monjayaki. The entrance of the restaurant has a stylish feel to it. The interior has only 5 tables, so it's a bit small, but the staff are friendly and explain things while cooking for you. According to the staff, the restaurant was featured on TV a few days before my visit, and it's popular among the local ladies during lunchtime, with customers coming in steadily even at night. The friendly nature of the staff contributes to the popularity of the place. They also have the latest system of accepting orders through smartphones. Despite that, the interior exudes a warm wooden atmosphere, making it a relaxing place to dine. - Special Morokyu: Colorful with paprika sprinkled on top. The homemade moromi is firm, and it goes well with the refreshing cucumber. It was a great appetizer, and my appetite increased! - Iwate Hirota Bay Oyster Butter Soy Sauce Yaki: This was not on the menu, but it was recommended for the day. The oysters were special and had a large, juicy, and flavorful meat that remained the same size even after cooking. The butter soy sauce seasoning was the best! - Mentaiko Mochi Monja: Look at the generous amount of mentaiko! Cooked with 8 kinds of seafood dashi, the dish is enjoyed with the flavor of the dashi. The vegetables add a nice texture, especially the roughly chopped purple onions. The meticulous cooking process and the delicious flavor make this Monjayaki outstanding! - Kuuya Yakisoba: This Yakisoba, with pork, Chinese cabbage, bean sprouts, flavored with sesame oil and citrusy soy sauce, was a delightful dish. The Chinese cabbage was a unique addition and complemented the soy sauce base. The thick and chewy noodles were well-coated with the sauce, and the dish had a refreshing taste. - Tonpei Yaki: A simple dish with fried egg, pork, and cabbage, but the cooking method at the restaurant was unique. The cabbage was piled on top of the fried egg, covered with pork, and cooked until golden brown. The dish had a satisfying texture, with the crunchy cabbage and the simple yet delicious combination of egg, pork, and cabbage. - Seafood Pescatore Risotto Monja: Another recommendation by the staff, this dish was full of seafood such as squid, octopus, mussels, clams, and shrimp, along with rice. Cooked with an 8 kinds of seafood dashi and a tomato base, the dish had a perfect balance of flavors. The risotto was cooked beautifully, and the combination of seafood and tomato base made it a refreshing end to the meal. The Monjayaki had a delicious crispy bottom, and I enjoyed it until the last bite.

I'm a big fan of Tsukishima, and I went to a clean and cozy restaurant on Monja Street. When I arrived around 8 pm, I saw that there were already customers inside, so I thought I would be called soon, but it didn't happen! Well, the place wasn't that big, and the customers were leisurely eating and drinking, so I guess it couldn't be helped. After waiting for a while, a couple left the restaurant, and a staff member came out to clean the table, asking us to wait a bit longer. Finally, we were able to get a table after a long wait. It was around 9:20 pm by then. I was recommended to try the oysters, so I decided to order them. Other items we ordered were: Seafood Camembert Monja, Spicy Sesame Monja, Meat and Shrimp Dumplings, and Grilled Oysters with Butter and Soy Sauce. They also had Monja dishes with avocado and salmon, which I found interesting. The staff at this restaurant cooks all the dishes, so even if you're not good at making Monja, you can relax. We started with the oysters, but the staff took a while to come. It took about 20 minutes for us to be able to eat them. The taste was excellent, with a good size and satisfying texture. It was a bit salty, so I felt like having some rice with it. Next, we tried the Meat and Shrimp Dumplings. Although they arrived relatively quickly, we had to wait for about 10 minutes. The staff poured water over them and covered them, then went to attend to other customers. It took a while for them to come back, and when they did, the dumplings were burnt black! They quickly replaced them, but we had to wait for about 20 minutes. By the time we were seated, it was almost an hour since we arrived at the restaurant, and we had only eaten the oysters. We decided to try the Seafood Camembert Monja first. It looked amazing, with Camembert cheese and mussels on top. Even after over an hour of waiting, we finally got our Monja dish. The taste was really delicious! They use cream in the Monja batter, and it was a unique experience. I would love to try it again! After that, the Meat and Shrimp Dumplings that were burnt earlier arrived. This time, they were cooked properly and tasted great with vinegar and pepper. Lastly, we had the Spicy Sesame Monja, which was like the Monja version of Dan Dan noodles. It arrived after 11 pm and was also visually appealing. We sprinkled chili oil and vinegar on top, as recommended, and it was delicious! It was already 11:30 pm when we left the restaurant, making it a total of over 3 hours since we arrived. The food was really tasty, so I felt a bit regretful for taking so long. The staff seemed to be working hard, almost by themselves. Looking at other reviews, no one seemed to mention the long waiting time, so maybe it was just an unusual experience for us. Next time, I'll try to go earlier.

Looking for a place to drink with friends in Toyosu, we decided to go to a Monja restaurant with four people. It is located on Nishi-Nakadori Sambancho Street, just a short walk from Tsukishima Station. The interior of the small restaurant is modern with bright white walls and concrete, and plays soft Western music. The tables are spacious and can easily store bags under the chairs. We started with Sapporo Lager bottles for a toast. The staff recommended seasonal dishes like Oyster Butter Yaki and Nodoguro, as well as Kishiwada Mizuna Pickles. The food was served quickly and was delicious. We also enjoyed Dassai Junmai Daiginjo and Kokuryu Ginjo sake, along with dishes like Seafood Ajillo and unique Monja dishes like Mentaiko Mochi Monja and Squid Ink Risotto Monja. We ended the meal with a delicious Matcha Anko Roll dessert. The total cost was reasonable, around 2000 yen per person. The restaurant is also available for private parties, making it a great choice for small gatherings. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience!

Nowadays, the closed Tsukiji seafood shop is said to be the owner of this okonomiyaki restaurant which has just opened. The exterior looks different from other okonomiyaki restaurants, with a stylish and clean interior, making it perfect for an okonomiyaki date. The staff cooked the okonomiyaki for us, so we didn't have to do anything! It's great for those who don't know how to cook okonomiyaki. We started with grilled nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch), which was a first for me. It was delicious, especially with beer. Before heading to the okonomiyaki, we ordered various dishes like kimchi, salted squid guts, raw oysters, and even gyoza (surprisingly found at an okonomiyaki restaurant). The most popular item, the Mentaiko Mochi Okonomiyaki, was topped with double cheese, making it even more popular. The addition of Parmesan cheese as a double topping was new and delicious. The okonomiyaki was filled with a whole belly of Mentaiko from Mentaiko Yamaya, making it quite luxurious. The flavor was enhanced by using broth instead of sauce. Pouring it on gave off a wonderful aroma of broth. It was delicious. To finish off, we had seafood okonomiyaki and yakisoba. We definitely ate too much! Among the many okonomiyaki restaurants in Tsukishima, I hope this one does well! It's a great option for a date, seriously!

I visited this restaurant for an early dinner on the weekend at the invitation of a friend who wanted to try out their specialty seafood monjayaki. Despite my initial hesitation, I was intrigued by the idea of a monjayaki place that focused on seafood, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant had a sleek and stylish interior, and I was excited to see what they had to offer. We started with dried throat fish, which the staff recommended as having a particularly good quality that day. The fish, oysters, and monjayaki were all cooked by the staff, ensuring that we got the best flavors. The dried throat fish from Shimonoseki was especially delicious, with just the right amount of fat. The kimchi and salted squid were also surprisingly tasty, and I wonder if they were homemade. The grilled oysters from Iwate were juicy and flavorful. The shrimp and meat dumplings were filled with chunks of shrimp. The monjayaki with cheese topping, bonito flakes, and chicken broth was rich and savory, with a wonderful aroma when the broth was spread on the hot plate. The two types of cheese were a nice touch, especially the Parmesan that was freshly shaved at the table. The seafood okonomiyaki was packed with ingredients. I couldn't resist ordering yakisoba as well, just to top off the meal. Although I hadn't planned on eating so much, the menu was so tempting that we ended up ordering a lot. The owner also runs a fish market in Tsukiji, so the seafood here is of top quality. It's no wonder this place is a popular monjayaki spot. The fact that you can make reservations is also a big plus. They also have a decent selection of drinks, making it a versatile option for dates or family outings. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert this time, so I'll have to come back for that next time! And I appreciated the nice touch of the staff spraying some Fabreze for us as we left.

Grilled buttered oysters, shirako with ponzu sauce, and mentaiko mochi monjayaki. It seems like a restaurant run by a fishmonger from Toyosu, and the seafood was delicious. They made the monjayaki right in front of us, and it was very tasty.

This is a valuable smoke-free monjayaki restaurant for lunch on weekdays. I visited here because the mentaiko monjayaki is popular. There were no customers, probably because it was a weekday. However, based on the high ratings, I decided to go in. The interior is clean and has a stylish atmosphere. - Mentaiko Butter Soy Sauce Monjayaki: This dish has plenty of mentaiko on top, along with roughly chopped cabbage and lots of butter. The dashi broth is a seafood-based ago dashi, which gives it a rich flavor. You can really enjoy the taste of mentaiko in this monjayaki, it's very delicious. - Seafood Okonomiyaki: It contains shrimp, octopus, squid, and scallops. It's rare to find scallops in a seafood okonomiyaki. This dish has bite-sized pieces of seafood generously mixed in. The texture is fluffy and light, and it tastes delicious. - Yakisoba: This yakisoba contains choy sum instead of cabbage. It also has bean sprouts, pork, and is seasoned with salt, pepper, sesame oil, and sliced chili peppers for a slightly Chinese flavor. The finishing sauce is light and not sticky, making it easy to eat. The interior of the restaurant has a stylish atmosphere, and the flavors are rich without being too salty. It's a monjayaki restaurant that is considerate of pregnant women and families with children because it is smoke-free. There are only about 5 seats, so you may have to wait on weekends.
