I bought some rice at the Gyomu Super Oizumi store on 23.6.14 and also decided to purchase some fruits and vegetables because they were extremely cheap. I was surprised by how inexpensive they were. I got a red-fleshed melon from Ibaraki for 150 yen including tax, which is usually over 500 yen for one. It must have been a clearance item, but it was perfectly ripe and sweet. Melons usually cost over 500 yen per piece, so this was a great deal. I also bought a pack of mini tomatoes from Aichi for 298 yen including tax, which is four times the amount of the 198 yen pack at a nearby supermarket. And the freshness was just as good. Lastly, I got two corn cobs from Chiba for 198 yen including tax. The kernels were all intact and they had a decent level of sweetness. If you ever visit Gyomu Super, make sure to check out their fruits and vegetables. Enjoy your meal!

I went to a business super that opened near Oizumi Interchange in Oizumicho, Nerima Ward on September 22, 2016. The parking lot is located next to the store and in the back, with the side parking lot designated for compact cars only. This time, I mainly purchased frozen foods. Meat croquettes, 10 pieces for 185 yen including tax, French fry potatoes 1kg for 195 yen including tax, Big Menchikatsu, 6 pieces weighing 150g each for a total of 900g for 278 yen including tax, and meat dumplings, 30 pieces weighing 14g each for a total of 420g for 218 yen including tax. It's super cheap! All the frozen foods are reasonably tasty for the low price. Especially the French fries, the price is so cheap that it seems silly to buy them at a hamburger chain. Well, you have to fry them yourself, but the price outweighs the effort. The Menchikatsu, which is more expensive than other products, is voluminous and has a meaty taste, very satisfying! Highly recommended! The meat croquettes are cheap but not bad, with a slightly sweet taste. In addition to frozen foods, other products such as seasonings are also inexpensive. There are many big-sized items, making it a discount supermarket suitable for large families. Bon appétit!

There is an unusual deli corner at the Gyomu Super store, where you can get 5 fried items for 270 yen or 10 for 540 yen. They also offer bento boxes for around 350 yen, and the jumbo chicken cutlet is expected to increase in price soon, but currently is around 250 yen, which is quite reasonable. I purchased a variety of fried items for snacking, including 2 each of menchi (minced meat cutlet), ham cutlet, and beef croquette. There were about 10 different types of fried items available, so getting one of each might have been a good idea. The menchi and ham cutlets were about 10cm in diameter, with the ham cutlet being thicker. Both had a good meaty texture and made for a great snack. The croquette was generously filled with onions and potatoes, making it juicier than the menchi and ham cutlets.

【Visit Motive】A small supermarket closed down, and recently a business supermarket opened in the same building. My wife buys cheap and unique items (some Costco products, etc.), and I occasionally buy items to try if I can eat them. 【Atmosphere】The store is located a 32-minute walk from the station, with the store front sign as the landmark. The interior is similar to the small supermarket it replaced. 【Taste】 - Malted Coffee, 50% off calories, ? yen: Despite the name sounding like coffee milk, it's actually soy milk. Plant-based protein intake is said to reduce the risk of colon cancer, with plant-based protein being preferred over animal-based protein. Personally, I enjoy beef and other animal-based proteins, but I also actively drink soy milk, especially this one which I find to have a pleasant taste (suitable for most people due to its lack of strong flavor). My wife, who combines exercise and walks with supermarket visits, bought it because it was on sale and cheap.
