I usually don't care much about domestic beef, but when I'm stressed at work, I sometimes crave that sweet fat. Looking back at my past posts, I realized that even though I had been to this restaurant more than 10 times, I had never ordered the premium course! Maybe because I was always satisfied with the regular course, but I remember seeing some reviews on Tabelog saying that the domestic beef at this place was not that great, so I avoided it. So this time, I decided to challenge myself and ordered the Premium Course for 4378 yen! + Soft drink + All-you-can-drink alcohol for 1529 yen, totaling 5857 yen. Adding the train fare, it goes over 6000 yen. Normally, I feel like I could de-stress with good yakiniku or izakaya food, but anyway, let's go. To build up my appetite, I walked about 40 minutes from Furubuchi Station. I had made a reservation for 8:00 pm. I was seated right away, but... the seating was the worst! Of all places, I ended up next to a group of high school girls. I tried not to make eye contact haha. It seems like the stone grill menu was not available due to some malfunction. Since I focused on ordering mainly beef this time, I tried not to eat rice and just ordered meat and alcohol. I had 9 plates of meat, 4 glasses of alcohol, 2 soft drinks, and 5 desserts. Since I didn't eat rice, I felt like I could eat more meat and drink more alcohol. As for the evaluation of the Premium Course, the beef tongue was not good, but the domestic beef loin and kalbi were delicious. If that's the main purpose, I wouldn't mind paying an extra 1000 yen. The group of high school girls seemed to have come in around the same time and stayed until the end, making it uncomfortable. However, considering that all-you-can-eat would easily go over 3000 yen, I wonder if high school girls these days have that much money. With a 200 yen discount, the total was 5707 yen. It's a bit pricey, but with the all-you-can-drink soft drink option, it's not too bad. I skipped the fair menu this time, but I felt satisfied overall. - Kirin Ichiban Shibori Mid 2 - Oolong tea with black sugar - Raw makgeolli in a glass - Blueberry milk mousse - Cold sake - Cucumber kimchi - Bacon and cheese Caesar salad → It's a regular Caesar salad, but it's delicious with plenty of vegetables. The thick bacon is a nice touch. There's no cabbage in it. - Spicy kalbi soup → You can choose how spicy you want it, and I thought it would be spicy, but it had some kind of spicy chili on it. Level 2 spiciness is not that spicy. The crispiness of the leeks is delicious. - Special rib loin steak → I ordered it first because I thought I wouldn't be able to eat it later. I wanted to eat it with salt and pepper, but unfortunately, it wasn't a condiment. But it was right next to the condiments. It's hard to tell. The meat itself is flavorful and delicious on its own. - Thick-cut beef tongue → It's not as thick as a cow's tongue. It's thin. And it's hard to chew. Is the processing sloppy? I like beef tongue, but I probably won't reorder this one. - Ultimate kalbi with wasabi soy sauce 2 → It has that classic Japanese beef flavor with sweet fat. I usually eat it with wasabi soy sauce, which is not bad. It's a bit salty though. - Dodaka! loin → The loin has a strong meaty texture, which is nice. The seasoning is on the sweet side. It's quite tough, but delicious. - Premium kalbi 3 → It's the same as the one with wasabi soy sauce. It's delicious and rich. It's the main dish. - Grilled kalbi with grated radish and ponzu sauce → It looks greasy, but it goes well with the grated radish and ponzu sauce. - Chicken ramen to eat in a pot → This is the best. The noodles look like they're about to fall apart, there's a distinct instant noodle aroma, everything is top-notch. It's a good finish. It's light and good. - King Sloppy Le Monde 4 → Le Monde is delicious on its own. It's definitely delicious. The berry sauce with remaining grains also goes well. - Soft almond tofu
