Met up with a friend who works in Ningyocho and decided to have a meal together. I was craving meat today, so we decided to explore the area. We walked down Amazake Yokocho towards Hamacho and spotted a popular taiyaki shop on the right. We then came across a traditional-looking yakiniku restaurant and immediately went in. The interior had a nostalgic atmosphere, and the smell of grilled meat was enticing. We ordered some beer and a few appetizers. We toasted to our long-awaited reunion and enjoyed the kimchi. The kimchi had a rich and flavorful taste. The meat was well-marbled and the seasoning was perfect! We quickly ordered more beer and more meat. Today was definitely a meat day! For dessert, we ordered cold noodles to cleanse our palates before heading to the cashier. This old-fashioned yakiniku place is a gem in the neighborhood. Its unpretentious vibe might appeal to male customers!

It's a shame that it's not non-smoking, but it's a local yakiniku restaurant loved by the community. There was one person in the kitchen and one person in the hall, but the person in the hall was very nice. The original dressing for the wakame salad was delicious. The salted meat was also carefully marinated. It's a perfect yakiniku restaurant for casual daily use.

I saw a sign saying it's a long-established restaurant with delicious food, so I was curious and decided to try it out. However, the quality of the meat was not good. The beef tongue was tough and only seasoned with salt, there was no top tongue. The harami was cut into small, thin pieces and had a poor texture. The sirloin was on the firmer side and not particularly juicy. The liver had a slight odor. I don't like upper hormone because they remove the fat, but they only offer regular hormone which is thin and not very fatty. The kimchi was quite sweet and not refreshing, more crumbly in texture. In this area, I think Gyu○jo is far superior in terms of meat quality, attention to detail, and seasoning.

Ate: 2 portions of pork loin, 2 portions of skirt steak, 3 portions of beef tongue, rice, napa cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, oxtail soup, spicy rice cake, Korean seaweed, Chamisul soju, and beer. Everything was delicious. The owner is also very friendly. Highly recommend the beef tongue.

A classic Korean BBQ restaurant located within walking distance from Ningyocho Station and Suitengu-mae Station. The exterior and interior have a traditional feel to them. I visited with two colleagues and ordered the following: - Beef tongue with salt (1,850 yen) - Premium kalbi (2,800 yen) - Premium harami (2,200 yen) - Prime rib (2,100 yen) - Misuji (price forgotten) - Hormone assortment (1,800 yen) - Kuppa (700 yen) - Yukkejang soup (900 yen) - Cold noodles (900 yen) - Other drinks We started with the beef tongue, which is a good indicator of the quality of a BBQ restaurant. The texture and flavor varied between the different parts of the tongue, with some parts being more tender and flavorful than others. Next, we tried the premium kalbi, premium harami, and prime rib assortment. The premium harami had a great chewy texture and rich flavor. The premium kalbi had a good amount of marbling, but the price seemed a bit high for what we got. The prime rib was tender but lacked in flavor. The standout dish of the day was the misuji, with its fine marbling and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Overall, the other dishes were average. It's always a challenge to find a truly exceptional BBQ restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

Having yakiniku in Ningyocho at night. The restaurant is located a little south of Amazake Yokocho. The interior has spacious table seats, making it comfortable. The meat ranges from 1000 yen per serving, which is relatively reasonable in the Ningyocho area. However, for some reason, the beef tongue is a bit more expensive... a blow to someone who loves tongue. Overall, the restaurant is clean and offers good value for a casual dining experience.

Doll Town Yakiniku in Ningyocho! I wonder how long this place has been around. I'm not sure, but I've been going there occasionally recently! It's cheap and delicious! It's not overly fancy, just straightforward yakiniku! They have salad, namul, kimchi, oi kimchi, premium tripe, premium tongue, harami, kalbi, liver, and hormone, but I forgot to take photos of everything, sorry! I was too busy enjoying the food, it was so delicious! Despite that, the restaurant has a low rating on Tabelog, which is a bit unfortunate for them. The second floor has tatami seating for parties. Even the regular kalbi is delicious enough! I ate a lot of rice, drank highballs, and had a great time! I recommend the harami and kalbi!

To Kaofuen in Ningyocho! It's a hidden gem! They use A5 rank domestic beef, so the meat is really delicious! The kalbi and harami were juicy and amazing, I couldn't help but order more rice! The price for their finishing soup and kuppas was really good. Not only the meat, but the other side dishes were also plentiful and satisfying! And the variety of drinks was great too! I'm happy to have a delicious yakiniku restaurant nearby! I'll definitely go back again!
