I went to have afternoon tea at the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo lounge. It is located on the 40th floor, offering a quiet and elegant space with a limited number of seats. The afternoon tea costs 8,500 yen for a 90-minute session with free-flowing drinks. The menu includes various savory and sweet items such as bruschetta with tomato, bomba tuna sauce, sliced veal with tomato powder, whole wheat toast with smoked salmon and avocado, pies, tarts, sponge cakes, scones with clotted cream and jams, as well as a selection of tea and coffee. The mini-sized cakes available during afternoon tea are sold in the shop for 3,900 yen each. Despite their small size, each item has a high quality and tastes delicious. The tart crust is crispy and buttery, the sponge cake is fluffy, and the scones have dried fruits and a sugary topping. The salmon is fresh without any fishy taste, and the veal is moist and well-balanced with the bread. The drinks are refillable, so it's recommended to share a pot of tea with someone else. Overall, I had a wonderful afternoon tea experience with beautiful sweets and a lovely atmosphere at Bulgari Hotel Tokyo.

Enjoy an afternoon tea at the trendy Bulgari Hotel, where each dessert is elegant and meticulously crafted. The scones, especially, are enhanced by the orange and blueberry jam and clotted cream. The herbal teas complement the sweets beautifully with their natural aromas. The chic and open atmosphere allows for a luxurious afternoon experience.

I finally got to experience the much-anticipated BVLGARI Hotel afternoon tea, which was fully booked until September when I checked in June. Stepping into the hotel from the hustle and bustle of Midtown Yaesu, it felt like entering a different world. The spacious setting with luxurious table arrangements made it clear why reservations were so difficult to come by. The afternoon tea included three savory items, five desserts, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam, a seasonal tart, and more. BVLGARI is known for its chocolate, and the chocolate desserts were rich but not overly sweet, meeting expectations. The savory items had a distinct Italian flavor in just one bite. We could enjoy as much tea and coffee as we liked. Although the 90 minutes flew by, we were also able to take a stroll on the balcony, leaving us completely satisfied. The menu remains consistent, except for the seasonal tart, and I look forward to indulging in this luxurious experience again.

I made a reservation and visited at 12:30 on a regular day. Despite opening the table check reservation, there was absolutely no availability, and I was getting frustrated. Maybe calling would have been faster. But even if I called, it would probably be a 3-month wait... because there are only about 5 tables. However, this time, I actually made a reservation a few days ago when I visited the Italian restaurant next door. I was able to secure a reservation just a few days later. Is this a special slot for demanding guests? It was really lucky. The service is excellent. It feels worthy of the hotel with an accommodation fee of nearly 300,000 yen. The spacing between the seats is quite spacious and nice. The Richard Ginori tableware is also nice, giving off an Italian vibe. The large teapot is gorgeous and makes you feel luxurious. The food! Each item is delicious like a cake shop, undoubtedly one of the best in hotel afternoon tea. I've been to many afternoon teas in Tokyo, but I highly recommend this place. You can enjoy mini-sized cakes like the ones sold in the hotel shop for 3,900 yen each (it's a petit gateau!). It's a dream come true for women who want to try various delicious treats. Italian dolce is often thought to be sweeter and heavier than French pastries, something that can only be handled with coffee, not tea. But that's not the case here at all. It's like they made it more Japanese-friendly. There were various types of free-flowing tea available. Bulgari is also famous for its chocolates, so I tried their hot chocolate. It was rich in chocolate flavor, with a refreshing acidity, making it easy to drink and incredibly delicious. It's expensive, but I want to go again when the season changes. ★ AFTERNOON TEA - NIKO ROMITO 8,500 yen ☆ SAVORY Bruschetta al pomodoro Bomba con vitello e salsa tonnata Pane integrale tostato, salmone affumicato e avocado ☆ SWEET Millefoglie alla vaniglia Frolla, lamponi e nocciole Cannolo Siciliano Mimosa Profiteroles SCONE TORTA NIKO ROMITO TEA AND COFFEE SELECTION ===========

I visited for afternoon tea. The lounge had a modern and colorful atmosphere with a unique charm. The tableware and teapots were from Richard Ginori, and the silver 3-tier tray added to the elegant setting. The afternoon tea featured cakes inspired by mimosa flowers and chocolate-coated cream puffs, all beautifully presented. The scones were a bit different, with lots of dried fruits and a strong sweetness. The tea selection from JING's Tea included white tea, oolong tea, and Japanese tea, making it easy to find a refreshing option to pair with the sweet treats. The time limit was 1.5 hours, which felt a bit short, but overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

I went to "THE LOUNGE" at Bulgari Hotel Tokyo in Yurakucho Central Tower 40F, right next to Tokyo Midtown Yurakucho, from Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit. I made a reservation for the Classic Afternoon Tea on 7/11, which was the earliest available date. The tea set included a variety of sweet and savory items, all beautifully presented on high-quality tableware from the Italian brand Ginori. The scones were particularly delicious, with a hint of orange peel. The drink menu offered a wide selection of organic teas, coffees, and hot chocolates, with the option of unlimited refills for the premium drinks. Overall, the experience at Bulgari Hotel Tokyo was luxurious and worth the price. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

This was my first time entering Tokyo Midtown Hibiya. The entrance to the Bulgari Hotel is closer to the right end when facing Tokyo Station from Midtown Hibiya. When you go up to the 40th floor, you'll find a large chic door that opens up to a very lovely space with high ceilings. Bulgari Afternoon Tea: This time, I was guided to a seat by the fireplace. Normally, it seems like there are table seats by the window, but this time it was a special case. The sofa was comfortable and spacious, making it very cozy. I ended up staying longer than expected. The pastries and scones were all of high quality and quite luxurious! They were so stylish and cute that I almost didn't want to eat them! The variety of tea was also impressive, especially the matcha latte which left a lasting impression (I haven't had it anywhere else!). I definitely want to visit again!

Opened in April this year, the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo has a lounge on the 40th floor. Although they offer afternoon tea, you can also just enjoy tea there. It's recommended to go either early or late, as reservations are only available for afternoon tea. There are about 6 types of cakes and chocolates available, with each cake priced at ¥3500. - Millefoglie alla vaniglia: A pie with organic pistachio and vanilla cream. The pistachio cream is nicely squeezed between 3 layers of pie crust, although a crispier crust would be better. - Mimosa: A sponge cake with Strega liqueur and lemon-flavored cream. The lemon-flavored cream is surrounded by sponge cake. - Profiteroles: A choux pastry filled with vanilla cream and topped with chocolate glaze. This was the favorite among the cakes. They also offer cappuccino and iced coffee for ¥1800 each. Despite the high price for the size of the cakes, the ambiance is truly splendid, allowing for a very elegant experience.

Afternoon tea time. The passage leading to the lounge was too simple and felt like a maze. The lounge itself was luxurious and elegant. The afternoon tea selection was extensive, with highly aromatic teas that were very satisfying. The ingredients used in the teas seemed refined and of high quality. The desserts were not overly sweet, but lacked a distinct flavor, which made them a bit boring. However, the chocolate dessert was exceptional! The chocolate was incredibly delicious. The scones with clotted cream were a highlight, and the plain scone was particularly good.

This is the lounge of the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo, which opened this year and is directly connected to Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit. It may be a bit difficult to find if coming from the Tokyo Station side, but once you enter the entrance of Midtown Yaesu, go all the way to the back on the left side where the hotel entrance is located, and you will find an elevator further inside. I visited on a Saturday evening. Reservations are not necessary for just having tea, you can usually get in. Afternoon tea is also available. When you reach the 40th floor, just let the hotel staff know what you would like to do, and they will take you there. There are both terrace and indoor seating options. The sofas and comfort are definitely better indoors, but if it's crowded, you may only find seats available on the terrace. On hot days, the terrace can get quite warm. The view is of course great, with views of Marunouchi and the Imperial Palace. You can also stand and enjoy the view, so seating on the indoor side may be better. On this day, I just came for a light tea, and I had a rooibos tea with delicious cookies. The cakes also looked cute and tasty, so I would like to come back for some cake.

I had an afternoon tea set at the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo in Midtown Hibiya. The price felt reasonable considering the inclusive experience of the space. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, with enough space between tables to avoid feeling crowded. The hotel's ambiance was reflected in the decor, creating a sophisticated environment. The afternoon tea set was around 8,000 yen per person, and the classic design of the dishes provided a nice contrast to the modern setting. The tea was served in pots, and you could order refills. However, the service was a bit slow in bringing the second round of tea. Overall, I was satisfied with the experience of enjoying the space and the afternoon tea set at this price point.

The Lobby at Bulgari Hotel Tokyo, located in Tokyo Station. It is the first Bulgari Hotel in Japan, opened in April 2023. This is the lobby lounge on the 40th floor. The design and decor are typical of Bulgari, with elegant touches that make your heart dance. On this day, I had a cafe here. I had the Pistachio Cream Millefeuille Cafe Latte. The design of the millefeuille is stylish, and the furnishings are also lovely. Of course, the taste is delicious. The staff, dressed in stylish uniforms, provide elegant service that reflects the high class of Bulgari Hotel. Next door is the restaurant. I would like to visit there next time. Thank you for the meal.

One month prior to the visit, a reservation was made by phone for two people at 4:30 pm on Tuesday! This is a lounge of a luxury hotel that landed in Japan for the first time in April 2023 as the 8th hotel in the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts Collection. ☆*゚* AFTERNOON TEA NIKO ROMITO (tax included) 8,500 yen per person - Savory bruschetta, Pomodoro bomba, Tuna sauce, Sliced veal, Tomato powder, Whole wheat toast, Smoked salmon, Avocado - Sweet pie, Organic pistachio, Vanilla cream tart, Raspberry coulis, Hazelnut ricotta cheese, Candied orange peel, Organic pistachio sponge cake, Strega liqueur lemon cream choux, Vanilla cream chocolate glaze - Scones, Orange clotted cream, Organic jam - Rhubarb tart - Selection of black tea and coffee. You can enjoy mini-sized cakes that are sold for 3,900 yen each in the shop, and organic Japanese tea that costs 2,500 yen per cup, making the afternoon tea a great value. Despite its compact appearance, the content is very satisfying by the time you finish eating. The limited 1.5-hour time frame includes all-you-can-drink options like organic Japanese tea and various cakes. The teas we had this time were: Organic sencha, Okumidori, Yabukita, Organic hojicha, Ichibancha, Organic Wako tea, Yabukita, Seasonal green tea, Mint flavor, Hot chocolate, Rooibos. The location on the 40th floor offers a view of Tokyo Station and Mount Fuji on a clear day. It was a blissful experience in a luxurious atmosphere. At the moment, terrace seating is available without reservations if the weather is good, which I found to be a nice option. The only downside is that despite being directly connected to Tokyo Station, it is located on the Yaesu side, so it is a bit far from the station. The restaurant has a rating of on Tabelog (as of May 2023).

BVLGARI HOTEL TOKYO Afternoon Tea I made a reservation by phone right after the hotel opened, looking forward to Golden Week. It was a wonderful space✨️ Afternoon tea at 'The Lounge' on the 40th floor. On this day, the wind was strong, so we sat by the window instead of on the terrace. The freshly baked scones had an orange flavor, with 3 savory items and 5 desserts. The seasonal tart was a refreshing tart made with Italian vegetables (I forgot the name). From Japanese tea to black tea, coffee, herbal tea, etc., we enjoyed a variety of drinks. On a day with a high temperature of 27°C, I started with an iced herbal tea for my first cup. From the second cup, I had Assam tea with milk. The tea was beautiful, cute, and delicious, and I was satisfied✨️ After the afternoon tea, I went out to the terrace, but the wind was too strong, so I quickly went back inside. There was also a dessert shop.

In April, the grand opening of BVLGARI HOTEL took place. Located on the 40-45F of Yaesu Midtown, this luxury hotel offers all suites and has been the talk of the town every day since its opening. The hotel features signature dining and bars by BVLGARI Hotels & Resorts, including Sushi Hōseki - Kenji Gyoten, Il Ristorante Nico Romito, and Bvlgari Bar. I had the opportunity to make a reservation for the Classic Afternoon Tea, which I visited recently. The stylish design of the hotel, with BVLGARI jewelry design sketches displayed in the corridors, was impressive. Upon arriving on the 40th floor, the grand doors opened to a world of sophistication. There is also a terrace where you can enjoy the tea if the weather is nice. Unfortunately, the terrace was closed due to strong winds on the day of my visit. I enjoyed the afternoon tea on a sofa seat, which included various savory and sweet items, as well as scones and drinks. The high ceilings added to the spacious and relaxing atmosphere, making it a comfortable experience. If I were to be greedy, I would have liked a bit more time as the seating was limited to 90 minutes.

Afternoon tea at Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo (@bulgarihotels) ❤️ Niko Romito. Niko Romito is the head chef at Bvlgari Hotel. The cakes are mini versions of the cakes that cost around ¥3,500 at the patisserie shop, so the content is very satisfying. The standout "Choux Vanilla Cream Chocolate Glaze" has delicious vanilla cream and rich chocolate, truly exquisite! The "Tart Raspberry Coulis Dome Hazelnut" with rhubarb on the side was also delightful. The Bvlgari chocolate specialty shop offers delicious hot chocolate. The tea comes in a large pot, great for sharing. The service may be a bit slow due to the recent opening, so it's recommended to wait a bit before visiting. The tart menu changes seasonally, while the stand and scones remain the same year-round. Lastly, memories of the Bvlgari Hotel in Shanghai, a place I definitely want to stay at again. The Tokyo location costs at least ¥300,000 per night, so I'll wait for the prices to drop a bit before staying. #BVLGARIhoteltokyo #afternoontea #BvlgariHotelTokyo #TokyoMidtownYaesu #TokyoStationCafe #TokyoStationGourmet #TokyoCafe #TokyoGourmet #NunActivity #AfternoonTea #BvlgariHotelTokyo #Tokyo #Shanghai ✿ Menu ✿ Savory: Bruschetta Pomodoro, Bomber Tuna Sauce, Confucius Tomato Butter, Whole Wheat Toast with Smoked Salmon Avocado Sweets: Organic Pistachio Vanilla Chantilly Cream Pie, Tart Raspberry Coulis Dome Hazelnut, Cylinder-shaped Pie Ricotta Cheese Organic Pistachio Crumble, Three-layer Sponge Soaked in Lemon-flavored Stragarlikar (Cinnamon, Toushikimi, Saffron, Black Choji Pepper) Diplomat Cream, Choux Vanilla Cream Chocolate Glaze Scone: Clotted Cream Organic Jam, Torta Nicolo Mito Price: ¥8,500 per person (tax included) Time: 12:30-16:30, 90-minute limit TEL: 03-6262-6624 Address: Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo, 2-2-1 Yaesu, Chuo-ku, Tokyo #BVLGARIhoteltokyo #afternoontea #BvlgariHotelTokyo #TokyoMidtownYaesu #TokyoStationCafe #TokyoStationGourmet #TokyoCafe #TokyoGourmet #NunActivity #AfternoonTea #BvlgariHotelTokyo #Tokyo #Shanghai

On April 4, 2023, I visited the afternoon tea at The Lounge of the first Bulgari & Resorts in Japan, Bulgari Hotel Tokyo. The hotel is located on the 40th floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, directly connected to Tokyo Station Yaesu Exit. The interior is contemporary, chic, and elegant, with a terrace that offers a relaxing space despite being right next to Tokyo Station. Adorned with high jewelry and Bulgari's signature sophistication, the hotel exudes a luxurious atmosphere. The afternoon tea included a selection of teas, coffees, and Japanese tea, with a free flow service. The highlight was the Bulgari logo-adorned sweets made with Bulgari's signature gemstone chocolates. The warm scones with orange peel and waffle sugar topping served in a covered dish were particularly delightful. The savory bruschetta, tuna sauce, and veal slices were also delicious. The menu included a variety of sweet treats such as pistachio sponge cake, raspberry tart, and hazelnut ricotta cheese. Overall, the afternoon tea experience at Bulgari Hotel Tokyo was exquisite and worth the visit.

Bulgari Hotel opened in Tokyo's Yaesu district in April, and I recently had the chance to experience their afternoon tea. The hotel's interior is beautifully designed by Italian designers and features Italian-made decor. The lounge where the afternoon tea is served is small but elegant, with a limited number of seats available. The afternoon tea set, served on Richard Ginori tableware, was both glamorous and cute, featuring unique sweets like rhubarb tart and scones. The hotel's original desserts truly set it apart from other afternoon tea offerings. The service was a bit slow, so it's best to order early. I particularly enjoyed the Rosebud herbal tea. Overall, the Bulgari afternoon tea experience was delightful and priced at 8,500 yen including tax. Reservations are currently only available by phone.
