A renovated coffee shop in a former factory building was situated a bit further down the alley, with coffee bean bags stacked inside and a nice atmosphere. They also have another branch called Single O Hamacho in Hamacho. I asked for a takeout ice coffee, and they suggested a cafe au lait. The milk was rich and the taste was unique, with scents of stone fruit, citrus, and passion fruit. The fragrance was so strong that I got confused and wondered if I was drinking flowers instead of coffee. It wasn't too acidic, which I liked, and I was pleasantly surprised to have encountered such a great find in an unexpected alley. I'm thinking of going back to buy some beans next time. It's a blend of Ethiopian and Burundi beans, with a good balance of bitterness and acidity, and a refreshing taste. Very easy to drink and has a very good aftertaste. It's quite lively on weekends, with quite a few foreign tourists visiting. They offer both eat-in and take-out options, as well as selling beans and goods. An stylish coffee stand renovated from a factory suddenly stands in a residential area. The coffee here is lightly roasted and blended with fruits, so the aroma is very fruity and delicious. It's completely different from regular coffee. Please note that it is only open on weekends.

The milk is ¥500, and the coffee is quite fragrant with a strong espresso taste even though it has milk in it. I was impressed by how rich the aroma is. The latte is on the heavier side even with a stronger espresso. It might be a bit heavy for summer. I felt a floral-like scent with acidity. Coffee lovers will find it worth coming here!

Before eating eel in Sumida Ward, take a walk. I used to like dark roast (so strong it makes your throat dry) but now I'm starting to like light roast. My current favorite is single origin, Ethiopia! I'm wandering around looking for light roast coffee shops. I purchase coffee beans at an open shop renovated from a construction company. When you buy coffee beans, you can get a free espresso with milk. The drip from Ethiopia has a high transparency and the glass carafe is beautiful. The cup is a matte black color that fits perfectly in your hand. Since the weather is nice, you can enjoy your coffee outside. Relaxing and comfortable. Nice atmosphere. (Rainy days seem fun too)

Last time, unfortunately, the event was closed, so I tried the Ethiopian "Dumeso" for 500 yen. Just like Light Up Coffee, they served it in a stylish beaker. It was my first time trying the Dumeso variety, and it had a strong acidity with a cherry-like moist finish, making it delicious.

You can purchase coffee beans starting from 1,000 yen per gram, which is convenient! Each cup is carefully brewed with hand drip, resulting in a coffee with a strong fruity taste that is fresh and delicious. There are many coffee shops within a 2km radius, but this one seems to be a favorite. The open atmosphere makes it perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee under the blue sky on a sunny day. They are open only on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, so it's a good idea to check before you go.

I went on a local exploration. The closest access would be Sumimaru-kun's southern route, walking from the Hokusai Memorial Hall. It would be good to come after enjoying some food at Ichikatsuya Hosokawa. You could also stop by Misuzu for a Cafe au Lait Daifuku. The interior of the shop seemed to be made using the warehouse of a wholesaler. There were concrete floors and exposed plywood. Sacks of raw beans were piled up on pallets. At the back, a huge roasting machine sat, giving off a rugged rather than sterile vibe. I felt like I was in a situation where beans were roasted immediately after arrival at the port and then tasted. They didn't have Mocha single origin on that day, which is the most clear-cut favorite or not for me. They had a blend with two types of Ethiopian beans (natural and washed) and one Kenyan bean, so I chose that. Come to think of it, there was a blend called Three Africans somewhere. I never found a lightly roasted Kenyan that I thought was delicious, so I was a bit worried. Sugar Plum Blend Cup 500 yen. Extracted with V60, stirring with a spoon in the middle. It's probably not expanding much because it's quite lightly roasted. Two cups were extracted. The cup that arrived had a nice aroma. When I took a sip, I could vaguely imagine the berries that the natural Ethiopian bean had, but the acidity was more noticeable. Furthermore, it was bitter, and it stayed bitter for a while even after drinking. Was it the roasting? Maybe it would be different if I ground it finely at home and extracted it slowly, but I didn't feel like it would change dramatically. I longed for the sweetness of Ilga. Unfortunately, it wasn't to my liking.

My friend from the countryside, who was eager to go cafe hopping, came to the Asakusa area and wanted to visit this place. I'm not a fan of coffee, so I ordered a flat white with less espresso. They explained in detail about the coffee beans and even let me taste some. I chose a safe option with low acidity. I had a great time chatting with the barista about Australia. Although it's a bit far from the station, I think it could be a relaxing place for those who are particular about their coffee.

I had a drip coffee to go. The beans were from Honduras, with flavors of tropical fruits and agave nectar. It was indeed fruity and refreshing, and I enjoyed the taste.

Hot Milk Coffee 450 yen This shop mainly uses lightly roasted coffee beans, but I prefer dark roast. However, the fine foam milk matched well with the espresso and was delicious. The service was also good.
