I recently tried out a new Spanish restaurant that opened near Coaster, just a short walk from Shimokitazawa Station along Chazawa Street. I ordered a dry Cava and enjoyed it with a plate of Jamón Serrano, potato salad with aioli sauce, deep-fried eggplant, garlic shrimp, and finished with squid ink paella. All the dishes had an authentic taste and were delicious. The restaurant doesn't seem to be well-known yet, so there were plenty of seats available. It's a hidden gem!

It has a casual atmosphere with a feeling of being able to easily drop in for a drink. The cold appetizers and pinchos set were reasonably priced. The chef, a man, took a little time to come out. There are table seats, so families with children also come. The taste is quite ordinary. The presentation is nicely done. I would be happy if the albondigas were a bit more authentic.

I went to a newly opened Spanish restaurant near my house! The extravagant exterior and interior of the restaurant caught my eye. The orange walls really lifted my spirits. Don't you sometimes crave paella? I quite like it myself because I have a longing for Spain haha. Since I can't travel there often, I had high hopes for the restaurant to recreate authentic dishes. I went for lunch and the service was provided by a male waiter and a female chef. I chose the paella lunch set. The potato salad that came with it was delicious with olives and other ingredients. The croquette was a surprise! It was a jet-black croquette made with squid ink and soft chunks of squid, and the taste was amazing! It had the same richness as crab cream croquettes. The paella took 40 minutes to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The individual portion was cute, but the flavor was rich with the essence of seafood! Definitely the taste of the authentic dish. I will definitely come back for more. I wanted to thank the female chef, but she seemed busy, so I will thank her next time.
