Personally, I preferred the new restaurant. The food was the same at both places, with thick sashimi and reasonable prices. The only downside was that despite entering before closing time, they kept reminding us that they were closing in 30 minutes. I understand they need to close, but it would have been nice if they were a bit more lenient, especially when we had finished paying but still had some food and drinks left on the table. It was a bit disappointing, considering the food was actually good.

Near Shinbashi Station, there are several branches of the popular Uokin series. I visited the second branch, which has two floors. I went on a weekday evening at 6 pm and by 7 pm, both floors were packed. The sashimi platter had 8 types of sashimi, 3 pieces each. They also offer a platter with 6 pieces, but for 3 people, the 3-piece platter is enough. The sashimi was thick and fresh, very delicious. The wasabi was also tasty. The salmon collar was fatty and satisfying. Surprisingly, the fried chicken was juicy and tasty, even though it's a fish restaurant. It's great to enjoy both fried chicken and sashimi. The only downside was the strong smell in the restroom, which was unexpected considering the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.【Access】⭐︎Address/ 36 1・2F RUE GLACIER BUILDINGS, 3-8-6 Shinbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo⭐︎Train/ 4-minute walk from Shinbashi Station⭐︎Parking/ Not available

It had been a while since I last visited Fish Kin, and this was my first time at the second location. The interior was clean and the staff was nice. When I made a reservation for six friends who had come from overseas, they told me there were only seats for six people even though there were seven of us. We managed to sit at a sunken kotatsu table and had a relaxing time. The sashimi was delicious, and overall it was a great meal. Thank you.

A large izakaya in Shinbashi famous for its seafood. The assorted sashimi platter is highly recommended. It's generous in portion and you can enjoy fatty seafood. The prices are reasonable. One thing that bothered me though... the men's restroom only had straw mats on the floor, no slippers or sandals provided. This doesn't seem very hygienic...

I didn't have a reservation, but since it was early, there was space at the counter. We wanted to order the largest sashimi platter, but since there were two of us, the staff recommended the smaller "Tamatebako" set, which was enough. The sashimi was delicious, with 2 pieces of each kind. We also tried the chilled nori tofu, which was not normally available, and it was good. The restaurant was full within 30 minutes of us arriving. It seems like making a reservation in advance is a good idea after all.

Visited on a Friday night. Didn't have a reservation but luckily there was an opening so I got seated. Reservations are a must for weekends at this restaurant. Ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. The sashimi was especially good this time. The popular simmered dishes were already sold out, so if you want to fully enjoy Fish Kin, it's recommended to come around 6:00-7:00.

After a long time, I met up with someone and had dinner after work. We toasted with a glass of draft beer and only took two photos, but we ordered a variety of dishes with three people. The sashimi was delicious, and the fried corn was amazing! The sweetness of the corn made it feel like a snack, and we couldn't stop eating it. Also, the tofu topped with seaweed was delicious!

I visited the seafood izakaya "Uogane 2nd branch" located a 5-minute walk from Shinbashi Station, right near the Shinbashi Sancho-me intersection. This was my first time at the Shinbashi 2nd branch of Uogane, although I have been to a few of their other locations before. As soon as I walked in, they asked if I had a reservation, indicating that it is a popular spot. Since it was my second stop of the night, I was looking for something light, but the complimentary dish was a cream croquette (500 yen), which ended up filling me up, leaving me with only drinks to enjoy, which was a bit disappointing.

It was so fun and delicious that I didn't take many photos, but it was really nice and grateful to be able to gather with a decent number of people on weekends and holidays from early evening, drink and enjoy delicious food. We ate and drank a lot and our stomachs were full. But let's make a reservation in advance!

There was a sake event near Osaki Station, so after enjoying some sake, I felt hungry and decided to have tsukemen at Rokurinsha. Then I headed to the main branch of Uokin in Shinbashi to have more drinks. Surprisingly, they were not open yet. When asked about other branches, I found out that this branch was already open. Since it was Golden Week and a weekday, this branch seems to open early. They served cream croquettes as a complimentary dish. I ordered sashimi, simmered dishes, fish roe, and enjoyed them with Japanese sake.

I visited the second branch of Uogane in Shimbashi, which is about a 5-minute walk from the west exit of the station. The restaurant has around 40-50 seats, including counter and table seating, and it was lively around the beginning of the evening, around 7:00 pm. We started with a spicy mapo tofu as a complimentary appetizer, which paired well with our first beer. A must-order dish at Uogane is the nori tofu and tamatebako, which we also tried. The nori tofu had a slightly strong starch taste, but the texture was good and it went well with alcohol. We also ordered the fried nameko mushrooms and simmered fish head, which were both delicious and the fish head meat was incredibly tender. The service was friendly and we had a great time getting a little tipsy. Thank you for the meal!

I went after a long time! The taste was as good as always!! There were 6 of us, so they served the sashimi assortment on one plate. It looked amazing haha. I love the seasoned abalone at Uokin, and it was incredibly delicious as always. I will definitely go again!

At the original location of Uokin Group in Shinbashi. Today, I reunited with a former colleague from my previous workplace at the second branch. It's been a while since I last visited Uokin, but the cost performance is still amazing~! The fresh fish dishes are all great value for money, both in appearance and taste. The sashimi platter had not just 3 varieties but was packed full of different kinds, haha. The staff recommended ham katsu was also generously portioned and crispy, so delicious~. Uokin Group never disappoints, which is great! I will definitely come back!

Visited on Tuesday at 5pm. As rumored, the food was delicious and the portion size was generous, making it a great value for the price. The seats were filling up around 6pm, so I recommend making a reservation before visiting. Some of the recommended menu items were sold out, so it's a good idea to order early if you have something specific in mind. I would definitely like to visit again.

I arrived at 7:00 pm and the tables had already turned twice, indicating that this is a very popular restaurant. The sashimi platter was fresh and plentiful. There were many delicious grilled fish options, but most of them were already sold out. I recommend going early.

Three of us made a reservation and visited the restaurant for the first time at 18:30. We started with draft beer and were served tofu with minced meat as a complimentary dish, which was delicious. Since it was New Year's and a fish restaurant, we decided to go with sake. Of course, we ordered the special seafood platter, which was amazing. It included large shrimp, octopus, sardines, yellowtail, sea bream, tamagoyaki, and grilled fish. In addition, the seasonal oyster fry was served hot and crispy. The simmered flounder was also delicious with the broth soaked into the fish. The belly meat was also very tasty. The sake selection was great, including Yukinobijin, Oze no Yukidoke, and Kankuichi. And the best part was that it was all very affordable. The cost performance was excellent.

As always, the sashimi platter with great cost performance is popular recently, and the tofu with seaweed was also very delicious. The freshly fried cream croquette served as an appetizer was perfect with beer while waiting for the sashimi. This restaurant is definitely a good place to visit. I will come back again! ^_^

Located in Shinbashi, this restaurant, which has several branches, mainly offers seafood dishes. I finally visited for the first time and had a great experience at the second branch yesterday. The atmosphere was nice and all the dishes were really delicious! I highly recommend ordering the assorted sashimi, which is beautifully presented in a box for two people. One dish that many reviews mentioned and I also recommend is the green ao-nori tofu. The tofu soaked in warm soup made with ao-nori and ginger is perfect for the upcoming season. This is a great restaurant, so be sure to check it out! #Tokyo #Shinbashi #Izakaya #TokyoGourmet #ShinbashiGourmet #TokyoIzakaya #ShinbashiIzakaya #Uokin #SecondBranch #Headquarters #Foodie #PopularOnTabelog #HighlyRated #IzakayaLover #BeerLover #SakeLover #Foodie #Delicious #GreatFood #WeekdayDinner #SalarymanFoodDiary #SimpleLiving

When I went to the main store, it was crowded, but the second store was empty, so I walked a little further to Sakurada Park. Since it's Uogin, you should go for sashimi, but this was actually the third place I visited that day, so I couldn't handle anything heavy anymore. I had some pickled mackerel and Iburi Gakko for a light snack. The pickled mackerel is eaten by picking it up with seaweed and rolling it, which was the best choice in this situation.

I made a reservation at this restaurant for a social gathering with new company members. We were able to reserve a table from 7:00 pm. We climbed the external staircase to the second floor and took off our shoes at the entrance. The staff stored our shoes in a shoe locker and returned them to us when we left. When I dined at Uotetsu Kan in Ikebukuro the other day with two people, we ordered the Tamatebako sashimi platter. This time, with three people, we ordered the six-piece sashimi platter. Compared to the previous assortment, it felt like the portion size had decreased. The simmered kinmedai fish came with rice at the bottom. There is a good variety of sake available. However, it was a bit difficult to find a waiter/waitress as there seemed to be fewer staff members and they didn't respond promptly when called, which was a bit disappointing.
