When I was invited to a certain event, I received a thank-you gift. It was a Melting Chocolate Sandwich in Orange & Passion flavor, with 10 pieces in a very stylish box. Inside, there are chocolate langues de chat cookies filled with cream flavored with orange juice and passion fruit puree. It's not really melty though.

I bought this as a New Year's gift and also got a box for home. It's a cookie made using the Langue de chat method with chocolate in between. Inside the chocolate, there is a gooey orange sauce. The smallest box comes with 5 pieces, and they are quite heavy and satisfying to eat. The cookies are chocolate-flavored, and the chocolate is thick due to the sauce in between. Despite the dark color, it tastes quite sweet. The orange sauce inside is refreshing and not too sweet. I think it's recommended for those who like sweet treats or rich chocolate flavors.

I visited Tokyo Chocolatier Factory at Daimaru Tokyo Store on the 1st floor in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. It is located just a 1-minute walk from the JR Tokyo Station Yaesu North Exit ticket gate, making it easily accessible from the train. There is also a shared parking lot at the Tokyo Station Yaesu Parking West and East lots for those coming by car. I purchased a box of Chocola Baum (10 pieces for 1500 yen) this time. These bite-sized baum cakes are coated with chocolate. They are round and cylindrical with a hollow center. The outer chocolate coating comes in milk and white chocolate, and it is not too sweet. The texture is firm and the sweetness is just right, making it delicious. They also have a version coated with strawberry chocolate, exclusive to Tokyo Station. The packaging is cute and appealing, making it suitable as a gift for women. I would love to visit again when I have the chance. Thank you very much!

I bought MELTING CHOCOLAT SAND (5 pieces for ¥960) from one of the Western confectionery stores at Daimaru Tokyo. It consists of a piece of chocolate with orange and passion fruit sauce sandwiched between chocolate langue de chat. It is produced by Shinjuku Nakamuraya. I enjoyed it very much. It seems they also have stores at Haneda Airport and Narita Airport.

I received a Tokyo souvenir from the store "Tokyo Chocolate Factory." It is the Melting Chocolate Sandwich Orange & Passion Flavor. This is a new product for the autumn/winter season. It is a chocolate tablet infused with orange & passion sauce, sandwiched between thin, baked chocolate langues de chat cookies. The refreshing yet distinctive acidity of the orange & passion sauce stands out. It pairs well with the rich chocolate. This is delicious. Thank you for the treat.

After returning from a business trip to Tokyo, I bought the most popular small Baumkuchen at "Tokyo Chocolatier Factory Daimaru Tokyo Store" in Daimaru Tokyo. It was topped with chocolate and white chocolate. When I ate it at home, it was just okay...neither good nor bad. Thank you for the meal.

First visit in November 2021 (No.3171) to Daimaru Tokyo store, where they have a "Weekly Select Sweets" event featuring popular sweets from all over the country. I visit every week to try out the different shops. This fall, they have also opened 4 new stores, and I decided to visit one of them. This particular store is operated by "Ail Co., Ltd." established in 1980, and it is the first permanent store in a department store. The concept is based on a chocolate confectionery factory somewhere in Tokyo, offering playful chocolates and new sweets. I purchased the following item: Chocola Baum (4 pieces) for 540 yen. It is a delicious treat with bite-sized baumkuchen coated in chocolate, individually wrapped. Overall, it's a good product, although there isn't much to rave about other than the individual packaging. Thank you for the meal.

"The concept of the shop is a chocolate confectionery factory somewhere in Tokyo. Huh? Your concept is like 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'! Will the Willy Wonka with an okappa head come out (laughs)? 'Chocolabaum' is a Baumkuchen roll coated with chocolate and cut into bite-size pieces. The inner bag and outer box have a pop design. You're definitely 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'! Since it's a hot summer, I chilled it in the refrigerator. The chocolate and Baumkuchen got a little harder because of the chill. It seems better to enjoy it at room temperature..."
