There is a restaurant above the Don Quijote in front of Takadanobaba Station. Of course, I can't read the name of the restaurant. It looks like it's read as "three cows crowded together"? I thought it was Chinese. I visited at 1 pm on a weekday, so it was not crowded. I ordered Yukkejang cuppa and iced coffee using a tablet for ordering. I wanted the Yukkejang soup, but they only had Yukkejang cuppa, so I ordered that along with iced coffee. I wanted it to be spicy, but since I ordered through the tablet, I couldn't specify the spiciness. The Yukkejang cuppa was okay, but since it had rice in it, the flavor was a bit diluted. The iced coffee was also just okay.

The Yukke had a light seasoning which made it enjoyable without being too strong. It was served with shredded cucumbers and apples underneath, which paired well with the meat and egg. The Galbi had less fat than expected, and overall it was delicious. The restaurant had great value for money and the food was served quickly.

I happened to stop by this yakiniku restaurant on my way back from the bookstore in the same building without checking reviews. The interior is clean and typical of a yakiniku restaurant. It was empty during lunchtime on a holiday. I ordered the pork bowl and a lunch drink on a tablet. The portion of meat was generous, and it came with salad and soup for 980 yen. The staff seemed to be of Korean descent, and although they seemed a bit inexperienced, they were very polite and likeable. It may seem presumptuous to comment on a yakiniku restaurant without eating yakiniku, but I thought it was just a normal, reasonably priced, and delicious place, rather than having any standout features.

In the morning, around 11:15, I had a lunch meeting with a customer. When we arrived, we were the only ones there, but around 11:30, other customers started to arrive. We all ordered the Kalbi set meal, which cost around 1,200 yen, and also added some thickly sliced beef tongue to our order. We ordered two sets of beef tongue, which ended up costing close to 2,000 yen. It was a bit pricey, but the taste was satisfying, so it was worth it! The Kalbi was the cheapest lunch option, but it was delicious. The soup was also tasty. I wondered how this place suddenly became so delicious. This place is really good!

Located on the second floor of a building with a Don Quijote store right next to Takadanobaba Station, this yakiniku restaurant (written as "Ushihishi") was visited for lunch for the second time on a weekday. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, and since it was before 12 o'clock, it was not crowded. Although I was tempted to order some meat to grill, I decided to go for a rice bowl or noodle dish this time. Last time I had the Kalbi hot pot, so this time I opted for the noodles. I ordered the "Kalbi Noodles for 1,180 yen" with free extra noodles. The dish was served in about 10 minutes. It came with a salad, small side dishes, Kakuteki, and Namul. The Kalbi noodles had a vibrant red soup with a generous amount of green onions on top. The spiciness was mild, just enough to make me sweat a little. The amount of Kalbi was decent, and the noodles were regular Chinese noodles, although some parts were not well separated which was a bit disappointing. The large serving was quite filling. PayPay was accepted for payment. Next time, I will try grilling some meat.

I found a new yakiniku restaurant in Takadanobaba called Ushishi. This time, I ordered the Ushishi course, which was amazing with 11 dishes for less than 7000 yen. The lineup was satisfying and I especially enjoyed the beef tongue, harami, and wagyu seared onigiri. The atmosphere in the restaurant was not too formal, making it suitable for couples and families. I'm happy to have found such a great restaurant.

Located on the 2nd floor of the Don Quijote building near Takadanobaba Station, this yakiniku restaurant opened in March. The name of the restaurant is "Gyugon Yakiniku," with "Gyugon" meaning "crowded" in Japanese. The restaurant offers courses with all-you-can-drink options, making it convenient for large groups. The courses are priced at 5,460 yen, 6,560 yen, and 8,560 yen, and all include tongue, which is tender and delicious. The restaurant uses a smokeless roaster, so there is hardly any smoke, which is great. Personally, I love the harami (skirt steak) the most. It's refreshing and tasty. When you go for yakiniku, harami is a must. I could eat harami forever! It was delicious. The hormone dishes like heart and diaphragm marinated in spicy sauce go well with highball. The cold noodles served at the end are just the right amount and deliciously chilled. The à la carte menu is a bit pricey, but the courses might offer good value. Thank you for the meal!

In front of Takadanobaba Station, there is a building with a Don Quijote store where a new yakiniku restaurant has apparently opened. Although I am not particularly interested in yakiniku, when I looked at the menu, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only beef, but they also have a chicken thigh set meal for a reasonable price in the 800 yen range (*´▽`*) This is definitely worth checking out! The restaurant is called "Ushibun Yakiniku". The three characters for "Ushi" mean "crowded", so it reads as "Ushibun Yakiniku"! I was seated in the spacious and clean restaurant by myself, and was given a tablet menu and order machine. I checked out the lunch menu, and saw the chicken thigh yakiniku set meal for 880 yen. The amount of chicken seemed a bit small, so I decided to also order the luxurious beef tongue a la carte (*´▽`*) As I waited for my food, quite a few customers came in. It seems to be quite popular! I was served a tray with rice, wakame soup, bean sprout namul, kakuteki, salad with sesame dressing, and chicken thigh. All of this for 880 yen is a great deal! I quickly grilled the chicken thigh, and in the meantime, I enjoyed the namul and kakuteki with rice. The flavors were delicious! The kakuteki had a well-balanced taste, not too sweet, just right. The rice was so good that I couldn't stop eating it (*´▽`*) The chicken cooked quickly, so I transferred it to a small plate and enjoyed it with rice. The chicken was juicy and had a crispy, flavorful surface. It was so delicious! Next, the "Thick-cut Beef Tongue" arrived, looking quite luxurious with a name tag attached. I grilled it well on both sides until it was crispy, then cut it in half with the provided scissors and continued grilling it. It seemed to have quite a bit of fat, so I made sure to grill it thoroughly, then squeezed some lemon over it and took a bite. It was tender, with a slightly chewy texture and a nice amount of fat. It was delicious! I also tried dipping it in the sauce and eating it with rice, which was also very satisfying (*´▽`*) Apparently, you can get a refill of rice and soup. I was starting to feel a bit full, but since I only had two pieces of beef tongue, I was okay (laughs). Next time, I might ask for more chicken thigh. The bibimbap also looked delicious. The side dishes were tasty, so I'm sure the bibimbap dishes are also well-seasoned (*´∀`*) I'll definitely visit again when I'm in the mood for meat. Thanks for the meal today!

Located just a short walk from Waseda exit of Takadanobaba Station, on the second floor of a building that houses Don Quijote, is the recently opened Ushihishiyakiniku (牛犇焼肉). Although the menu and lunch hours were not clear from the store introduction at the entrance of the building, I spotted the word "lunch" as I approached the store during lunchtime on a weekday. The interior of the restaurant is clean and modern, with several table seats near the entrance and four more tables in the back. The menu is available on the table, but orders are placed through a touch panel. Rice bowls and noodle dishes start from 880 yen, with options like bibimbap sets, stone bibimbap, cheese stone bibimbap, yukgaejang, and kuppas. For the lunchtime barbecue, prices start from around 1,000 yen for 100g of meat. This time, I decided to try the Kalbi Kuppa, which costs 1,080 yen. The dish arrived in less than 10 minutes and came with a side of salad, kimchi, and pickled vegetables. The presentation was stylish, with a vibrant red Kuppa. The dish had a nice level of spiciness, and the Kalbi meat was like diced steak, flavorful and delicious. I finished every last bit. Payment can be made with PayPay. The prices may be a bit on the higher side, perhaps due to the convenient location near the station. I look forward to coming back to try their barbecue next time.

It's still not very well known so you can get in quickly without waiting, but depending on the time of day, it may be crowded. The beef kalbi and loin set meal is 1480 yen, with free refills of soup. Despite being reasonably priced, the meat is delicious, and the side dishes of bean sprout namul and kimchi, as well as the soup, are all tasty. I want to come back again.

I visited this restaurant because the nearby yakiniku place was closed. The place was clean and the menu was clear, making it easy to choose. I like that the meat dishes are clearly labeled. The meat was delicious, but the standout was the kimchi! It would be nice if they had private rooms.

I ordered the all-you-can-eat and drink course. Some items were different from the photos, but the salad had a good portion size and the harami was delicious. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and I was able to enjoy my meal leisurely.

It was delicious. A la carte ended up being expensive. Should have gone with the set menu.
