It's been a while since I visited the bustling streets of Shinjuku! Met up with a friend at 12 o'clock. There aren't many places open at that time, but I was curious about this particular restaurant that started serving at exactly 12 o'clock, so we decided to go there first. - Appetizer: Oyster Soboro - very delicious and perfect with drinks. - Fresh Oysters x2 from Ofunato, Iwate - fresh and tasty, made me want more! - Oyster Fry (2 pieces) - the fried oysters were a delight, especially with tartar sauce. - Oyster Miso Bagna Cauda - a huge dish with tasty oyster miso sauce. - Grilled Oysters x2 - the grilled oysters had a delicious broth and a nice ocean flavor. - Premium Malt Beer x2 - White Wine x2 The variety of oyster dishes and their affordability make this oyster bar a great value for money. The only downside is that the drinks are a bit pricey. The seating is limited, so it's best to visit during less crowded times or days. Thank you for the meal! ◎

Located right near Yoyogi Station, this oyster bar is situated in a warehouse in the bustling district of Shinjuku. There are various shops crowded together, creating a lively atmosphere. They offer a wide variety of oysters sourced from different regions across Japan. We tried fresh oysters from Hokkaido, Iwate, and Hyogo, all of which were rich and creamy, and absolutely delicious. The menu also includes a variety of dishes made with oysters, such as fried oysters, ajillo, and oyster kimchi. Every dish was delicious with plump and tasty oysters! Highly recommended for oyster lovers!

I went to the oyster bar in the Renjagai area of Shinjuku the other day. You can choose oysters from various regions to compare and enjoy. I recommend it for those who want to try different types of oysters!

I met up with friends and we were guided to our reserved second-floor seats. We ordered dishes like fresh oysters, grilled oysters, oyster miso, bagna cauda salad, and kakioko, along with drinks like umeshu highball and Jim Beam highball. I chose Miyagi oysters which were small and not to my liking. The oyster miso was very delicious and the vegetables were crunchy. The kakioko was also tasty. We picked the cheapest white wine, a Spanish one, which was light and had a mild flavor. We spent nearly 4 hours drinking, chatting, and having a fun evening.

I used this place as the third stop on my bar hopping adventure in the Shinjuku area! I was drawn in by the name "Yakigakiya" and entered as if being sucked in. This place is located in the warehouse annex area, where multiple shops are gathered in a building that feels like a food court. I had a luxurious feast of oysters, including grilled oysters, raw oysters, and oyster rice balls with salmon roe and sea urchin. The grilled oysters were juicy and plump even after being cooked. The raw oysters were large and creamy, making you want to eat as many as you can. The oyster rice ball with salmon roe and sea urchin had a fragrant and simple taste. The topping was too luxurious, right? The rice had a gentle flavor, complementing the saltiness of the salmon roe and sea urchin just right. It was delicious, and I definitely want to come back next time to try their rice dishes properly! It would also be nice to have a drink here from lunchtime! It was a very user-friendly restaurant.

A restaurant where you can eat oysters cost-effectively. The raw oysters were bigger than I expected. They have various oyster dishes, so it's recommended for oyster lovers. The casual atmosphere of the restaurant makes it easy to have a few oysters and wine as your first stop, then hop to other places, so it seems like a good way to enjoy.

I had delicious oysters. I ordered sparkling wine by the bottle, which was cheaper than ordering by the glass. The sparkling wine was refreshing and paired well with the oysters. The food was served quickly, and I would like to go back again!

Instagram Account: Tokyo Mibu Gourmet @tokyo_mibugurume Yakigakiya Oyster & Wine Located in the Ren Street of Shinjuku, with table seats on the 2nd floor, this oyster bar is easy to drop by. The oysters are priced at 300 yen each, which is not expensive. I was worried they might be a bit fishy because they are cheap, but they were actually delicious. The oysters here are really tasty, even though they are in Shinjuku, which made me underestimate them a bit. They seem to have been disinfected, but we were advised not to touch the shells when eating. Both the raw oysters and grilled oysters were delicious. Today's raw oysters and grilled oysters were both really delicious, and the fact that they were large made it even better. When you order, it's a bit sad if they are small, but here they are big and satisfying. - Kaki Mapo Tofu: Quite spicy, maybe you don't need to order this? - Oyster Rice Ball with Sea Urchin and Salmon Roe: Extremely delicious, soaked in flavor, definitely worth a repeat visit! By the way, the staff are all good-looking. My Order: - Today's Raw Oysters: 1 piece for 300 yen - Grilled Oysters: 1 piece for 300 yen - Sea Urchin and Wagyu Beef Grilled: 2 pieces for 1,250 yen - Garlic Butter Grilled: 2 pieces for 720 yen - Fried Oysters: 2 pieces for 720 yen - Salmon Roe Grated: 2 pieces for 820 yen - Kaki Mapo Tofu: 1,000 yen - Oyster Rice Ball with Sea Urchin and Salmon Roe: 800 yen Recommended Points: - Easy to enter, great cost performance - Delicious taste - Service - Atmosphere - Will definitely come back - Date spot - Convenient location Yakigakiya Oyster & Wine @yakigakiya_oyster_wine 5-20-10 Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo Located in the Ren Street of Shinjuku Warehouse Annex 5 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station South Exit 1 minute walk from Yoyogi Station East Exit 5 minutes walk from Kitasando Station Exit 1 Opening Hours: - Mon-Fri: 16:00-23:30 - Sat-Sun & Holidays: 12:00-23:30 Price Range: 3,000-5,000 yen Hashtags: - Shinjuku Gourmet - Shinjuku Dinner - Shinjuku Date - Ren Street in Shinjuku - Almost Ren Street in Shinjuku - Shinjuku Oysters - Shinjuku Oyster Bar - Yoyogi - Shinjuku - Yoyogi Gourmet - Yoyogi Dinner - Yoyogi Date - Shinjuku Sightseeing - Tokyo Gourmet - Tokyo Dinner - Tokyo Sightseeing - Tokyo Travel - Yoyogi Oysters - Shinjuku Seafood - Yoyogi Seafood - Shinjuku Sanchome - Tokyo Oyster Bar - Shinjuku Wine - Yoyogi Wine - Foodie Adventure - Tokyo - Shinjuku - Almost Ren Street in Shinjuku Warehouse Annex - Shinjuku Izakaya

I really wanted to eat oysters that day, so I headed to the restaurant. They were not open yet, so I waited nearby for them to open. As a second option, I decided to go to another restaurant. The female staff who served us was very kind and polite, and she explained everything clearly, even though I was a little tipsy. Thanks to her, I was able to enjoy delicious oysters. I had about six grilled and raw oysters, and I was surprised to find out that they were all different types. I got to taste a variety of oysters, from refreshing to rich flavors. The restaurant was spacious, and the restroom was clean. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

[Date/Availability] I visited around 9 pm on Friday night. I was able to get in without a reservation. The place was almost full, including the surrounding alleys. [Dishes] I had 3 pieces of fresh oysters, 3 times, 5 pieces of grilled oysters, and grilled rice balls. [Impressive Points] The oysters were very delicious! [Comment] The alcohol was so light that I wondered if it contained any. [Rating Criteria] 5 stars: I would make time and visit with loved ones, even if it's far. 4 stars: I would like to visit regularly if it were nearby. I would also go back with friends. 3.5 stars: I had a good time. 3 stars: Neither good nor bad. 2.5 stars: There were some negatives.

The oysters were delicious. There were many types to choose from, so I asked the staff for recommendations, such as light or creamy ones. All of them were great, and even though I went to a different restaurant for my second round, the first one was also good. The white wine and sake were easy to drink and highly recommended.

I had oysters last weekend and remembered this place, so I decided to visit again. I went at 4:30 pm and the area was quite crowded due to the start of Golden Week. The restaurant was almost full on the first floor, but luckily I got a seat at the counter. I ordered a bottle of wine, just like last time. The garlic shrimp was my favorite, and the baguette and drinks went well with it. The grilled oysters today were large in size! The horse sashimi and potato fries, in addition to the oysters, were also delicious.

The service was fast and the explanations were clear. The wagyu beef, sea urchin, and grilled oysters were incredibly delicious! The sake paired with the oysters was also amazing, so I recommend strong drinkers to enjoy both wine and sake with the oysters.

What I had was a variety of oysters: fresh oyster platter, grilled oyster platter, grilled oyster platter, oyster mapo tofu, and oyster rice ball with sea urchin and salmon roe. It was a lineup that oyster lovers would go crazy for. The fresh oysters were plump and delicious, and the grilled oysters were also amazing. The visual appeal of the grilled oysters was outstanding. The combination of ikura and sea urchin on top of the oysters was luxurious, including dishes like oyster sashimi and oyster fry. The oyster mapo tofu was packed with oysters, and it was a dish that went well with white rice. With reasonable prices, you can eat lots of oysters, making it convenient for both friends and dates. 🙋‍♀️

There were various types of oyster dishes available. Every oyster was fresh, creamy, and delicious. In particular, the ikura (salmon roe) and shirako (cod milt) topping was a divine taste. The wine was also reasonably priced at around 2,000 yen per bottle. I would love to visit again.

Today in Yoyogi, there is a drinking alley with 17 restaurants (7 in the annex and 10 in the main building) gathered, known as the "almost Shinjuku curtain street". It's a great place for bar hopping! Check out the Yoyogi curtain street Instagram @hobo_shinjuku. We started at the annex building with Yakigakiya, where you can enjoy fresh oysters from all over Japan. Menu items we tried: - Fresh oyster 1 piece ¥330~ (oysters from Aomori, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Hyogo, Nagasaki, etc.) - Yakigaki (grilled oyster) 1 piece ¥330~ - Yakikaki assorted dishes: sea urchin and wagyu beef grill 2 pieces ¥1370, garlic and leek with chili pepper 2 pieces ¥790, garlic butter grill 2 pieces ¥790, ikura (salmon roe) grated 2 pieces ¥900, spicy mapo tofu with oyster ¥1100, oyster rice ball with sea urchin and salmon roe 1 piece ¥880 You can enjoy oysters from various regions and a variety of oyster dishes at a reasonable price for the 23 wards. The sake is also very easy to drink and goes well with the food. This is a must-visit place for oyster lovers! Check out their Instagram @yakigakiya_oyster_wine for more.

To all oyster lovers, hello☀️ ZMA here. Today, let's go eat some delicious oysters, shall we? Oysters are so tasty, right? The place serving up delicious oysters is "Yakigakiya" in Shinjuku. This restaurant is located in the Drinkers Alley warehouse district, with 17 small shops inside. It's a paradise for drinkers, isn't it? - Oyster Platter: They serve a platter with 6 types of fresh oysters from Aomori, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Hyogo, Nagasaki, and Kujukushima. Each one has a unique flavor that is irresistible. - Grilled Oysters: Oysters are great raw, but grilled oysters are also delicious. The juicy meat is a must-try. - Oyster Mapo Tofu: A spicy mapo tofu with oysters that balances the spiciness and softness perfectly. - The Oyster World: Oyster fry, uni oysters, ikura oysters, basil oysters. A feast for oyster lovers. - Oyster Rice Ball: An oyster rice ball topped with ikura and uni. A combination that shouldn't work but surprisingly does. Overall, a delightful oyster-filled experience. Oyster lovers, make sure to visit and enjoy oysters just like ZMA did. Bon appétit!

I visited the famous restaurant district in Shinjuku for the first time. It was full of Instagrammable shops and crowded with young people. The shops were closely packed together, with cute neon lights, creating a world like in a video game. However, despite the current situation, they were cramming people into small indoor spaces, seating strangers face to face at tables for four, and the ventilation was poor, making the air stagnant. The food was mediocre, with the fried oysters lacking flavor and the sparkling wine tasting sour. We left quickly and went to another place to drink in Shinjuku. It might be worth visiting once for the experience, but that's about it.
