On a day off, I went to a cafe in Hibiya that I had been curious about with my colleagues from work. It's about a 7-minute walk from Yurakucho Station and a 4-minute walk from Hibiya Station. I wonder if it's considered a street-level store? It's located in front of Hibiya Shante and Hibiya Midtown, and when you climb the stairs, you'll find the shop. The name of the shop is 'THE BLUE', and the interior, which is based on a blue color scheme, is luxurious with attention to detail in the decor. The inside of the shop is small, with 6 sofa and chair table seats and 1 egg chair seat, but there is also a terrace seat with a sofa and about 7 or 8 table seats outside, and pets are allowed. We made a reservation and were seated at the egg chair seat that you often see on social media! A photo spot popular with Instagrammers! It's fluffy and comfortable - I took several pictures. I was invited by my company senior who knows I love the color blue! We made a reservation for Monday, a public holiday, at 8:00 PM for THE BLUE dinner set at ¥3,500 per person. It's important to make a reservation as the seats are limited and each seat has a different shape and atmosphere. I chose the egg-shaped seat which seemed the most eye-catching. The dinner set includes Midnight Blue drink, three types of appetizers, shrimp with Americaine sauce, and THE BLUE - Vanille, Classic. You can choose from 3 drinks and 2 pasta options. The seats are cute and Instagrammable, but they are low so it may be uncomfortable to eat. The drinks and food arrived quickly after we were seated. The appetizers even had small blue heart shapes! The pasta had a chewy texture and was filling. Finally, the highlight was the jewel cake which looked colorful and tasted amazing! There are 8 cake options, each changing with the season, so I want to try them all! It was a great dinner experience and I will definitely come back!

I used it for lunch with my childhood friend. It was scorching hot, but I reserved a terrace seat with a pounding heart. I felt a little hot, but the mist and breeze made it bearable. The inside of the restaurant seemed to be freezing cold, so I think it was good to sit on the terrace. I chose a healthy salad lunch. Next time, I want to eat cake.

I used it for my friend's birthday! Every dish on the menu was really delicious! Both the taste and appearance were great, and my friend was very happy until the end with the cake. We had made a reservation, but since we went at the latest time after work, we were rushed towards closing time and told that they would be closing soon. I felt sorry for my friend. I also ordered a sparkling drink, which I found to be quite strong, so those who are not good with alcohol should be careful! On Sunday at 1pm, I had to wait for about 30 minutes before being seated. The interior of the restaurant is small with limited seating. It was a hot day, so I had to sit on the terrace to enjoy my cake. While chatting about the heat, the staff brought a small fan for me and even asked if I wanted to move inside once a table became available. There was a very considerate young man working there. The cake was a mousse, so it disappeared quickly! Be careful because the coating melts easily when taking photos.

It was nice to have the whole place to myself and enjoy a moment of luxury. I opted for two heart-shaped cakes and iced tea. The cakes were delicious, although not something I would crave to have again. However, I would love to experience that elegant atmosphere again. I believe that the price paid for the ambiance at a cafe is worth it, and my visit to THE BLUE was definitely rewarding. I spotted some other cakes that caught my eye, so I look forward to returning with someone who would appreciate those cute and lovely treats.
