Ginza Akebono is a shop with various tenants. I love JRE, so I purchased from their store at Atre Otsuka. The store is small, but Ginza Akebono's space is wide and they have a good selection of products, which I like. I bought the spring limited edition assorted rice cakes! It includes 3 regular red bean paste, 2 white bean paste, and 5 limited edition cherry blossom paste. It's so cute and costs around ¥1600, but looks high-end! Instead of having the same flavor lined up, I think it's safer to have a variety in one set. These are cute palm-sized treats. You can also buy them individually at the store for around ¥160 each, which is quite reasonable. They are not too sweet and easy to eat, plus they are light so you can have one or two without feeling heavy. Each one is around 80kcal, so it's easy to keep track of your intake. Whoever developed these must have some knowledge of nutrition, haha. They seem suitable for people with dietary restrictions too. I heard that the cheese rice crackers are selling really well at the Ginza store, so I was curious. It's a generous amount for ¥1,000 and it's so delicious. I'm definitely buying this again. It's addictive. I'll buy it for myself too. It's perfect for home drinking parties, goes well with beer or wine.

Akebono's chestnut monaka. Limited time offer, autumn sweets. Eat red beans to ward off evil spirits. I feel like I'm warding off evil spirits almost every day, but it's a mystery whether I'm really doing it. Even if I ward them off, they seem to keep coming back, so it might be a mental issue... (Are you okay?) The chestnut monaka is shaped like a chestnut, with a whole chestnut inside the skin and a chunky red bean paste made from Hokkaido red beans. The rich flavor spreads throughout the mouth. Akebono's new chestnut monaka - Akebono's sweets - Ginza Akebono. A freshly harvested new chestnut in one whole piece. A crunchy and chewy texture with a rich chestnut aroma that is unique to the harvest season. www.ginza-akebono.co.jp Ginza Akebono 03-3988-8828 Tokyo, Toshima-ku, Minami-Otsuka 3-33-1 Atre Vie Otsuka 1F https://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1323/A132302/13163674/

JR Otsuka Station, located in the Atré Vie Otsuka building on the first floor, has a branch of "Ginza Akebono." The store has a fairly large sales floor area with a wide variety of products. They offer gift items, everyday rice crackers, mochi sweets such as daifuku, manju, dorayaki, and other confectionery items neatly displayed. I am very satisfied with the organized displays. They also have summer limited edition items such as Mizuyokan, Kuzukiri, and jelly. Today, I purchased a variety of rice crackers, each with 4 different flavors in a pack of 6, and the "Ginza Melon." Especially the latter, a melon-flavored castella cake, was delicious. A convenient store!
