On this day, my husband and little Chi went to a relative's house-raising ceremony. It's been a while since I had a night to myself. Before giving birth, I would have been looking at my phone to see who to invite out for drinks, but now I just want to relax at home. So, I bought some deli dishes from a shop that opened in late July in front of Numabukuro Station. It's where the relocated Chimugukuru used to be. What I bought here was... - Chinese salad with dried tofu for 313 yen I brought in the laundry, organized the nursery's dirty clothes, took a bath, made a soda mix with the Suigin bottle I recently bought, and took a bite while watching Wakako Sake. It tastes like a typical Chinese jellyfish salad, but the accent of cilantro is great. And when you pour in the Suigin soda made with yuzu, green tea, ginger, and gin... ε=(´∀`*)プシュー Happiness♡ Just as I thought that, |*´ー`*)ノ|Ю ガチャ "I'm home!" (´°д°`)エーchee's solo drinking party is over w - Stick chicken with homemade rich sesame sauce for 421 yen This was the bountiful drinking party with my husband and little Chi, who came back with a lunchbox served at the house-raising ceremony. It seems to be chicken breast, but it is moist and tender, and the rich sesame sauce in the menu name is also delicious♡ My solo time was just a moment, but I was able to enjoy the lunchbox served and had a luxurious drinking party! Thank you for the meal!

Souhan is a store that specializes in deli items and bento boxes, with locations in Higashi-Nakano, Shin-Nakano, Shin-Okubo, and now Numabukuro. I have visited the Higashi-Nakano and Shin-Nakano stores before, but I didn't intentionally go to those locations. I ended up there as a last-minute substitute when the original place I wanted to go was closed. This may have skewed my perception and evaluation of the food. So, this time, I decided to visit the Numabukuro store directly. I was considering getting the 640 yen beef tendon stew bowl or the 780 yen daily bento, but the staff informed me that they were running late with cooking rice and couldn't offer dishes that required rice. I was a bit taken aback by this, especially since it was lunchtime. If this was a ramen shop, I might understand, but for a bento store, it seemed odd. Despite my initial frustration, I ended up buying Korean chapchae with beef and vegetables for 290 yen plus tax. The chapchae had a nice texture and balanced flavor. However, it wasn't very filling, so I also bought a triangle onigiri bento from the supermarket for 298 yen plus tax to satisfy my hunger. Comparing the two, I found the supermarket bento more reliable than Souhan.

A takeout shop for deli foods and bento boxes recently opened near Numabukuro Station. The name of the shop is "Vegetable + Rice." I decided to stop by for some deli foods after lunch. The name seems to be quite common these days, as there are more of these shops popping up in the area, but this was my first visit! When I entered, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who seemed to be handling everything alone. Most of the bento boxes were already sold out, but since I was there for deli foods, it was fine. The shop had just opened but it was already quite popular! I ordered the "Salt and Lemon Marinated Chicken Karaage," "Pumpkin Potage," and "Cheese-filled Melty Menchi Katsu." They mentioned that if you add them on LINE as a friend, you get a 100 yen discount on your first purchase and earn points, so I signed up on the spot. They accepted various cashless payments, and I used PayPay to pay. They put the deli foods in a basket for me to carry, and I packed them into a bag at a soccer table in the corner of the shop before taking them home. For dinner that evening, I tried the deli foods. The karaage came with two large pieces, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It had a tangy flavor similar to salted lemon. It was really delicious! The potage soup was creamy and smooth, and there was quite a generous portion. The Menchi Katsu had a lot of cheddar cheese, although it didn't melt as it had been a while since I bought it. The orange-colored cheddar was prominent from the first bite, and it was rich and flavorful. There was also a unique menu item like a miso soup with a day's worth of vegetables. Overall, even though the dishes didn't feel particularly healthy, they were all tasty! The prices were also reasonable. The menu is updated every Wednesday, so I look forward to trying new items on my next visit.
