I went to "Royal Coconut Garden" near the A5 exit of Tokyo Metro Otemachi Station around 12 pm on a weekday by myself. It's an Indian curry restaurant that I was curious about, so I decided to visit for the first time. The interior of the restaurant is very bright, clean, and stylish, with 6 tables for 4 people, 1 table for 2 people, and about 15 tables for 2 people on the terrace. Since there were empty seats inside, I chose a table for 2 people at the back. I decided to try two types of curry, so I ordered the 2 curry set for 1,100 yen including tax. In addition to the two curries, you can choose a salad and naan or rice. I chose naan. You can choose two curries from the following options: Today's curry (spinach and beans on that day), chicken curry, keema curry, vegetable curry, spinach chicken curry, mutton curry, butter chicken mutton curry, and butter chicken curry. I chose mutton curry and butter chicken curry. Soon, a glass of water, a cold towel, and a salad were served. The salad contained fresh cabbage, lettuce, corn, carrots, and sesame dressing, which was delicious. After about 5 minutes, the curries and naan were served. The naan was large and freshly baked, and the mutton curry had a moderate spiciness with tender mutton, while the butter chicken curry was surprisingly sweet but also delicious and easy to eat. The naan disappeared quickly. I noticed that the lady next to me chose the Ladies' Special Set, which seemed to be a great deal. It includes a salad, a choice of two curries, chicken tikka, and dessert for 1,050 yen including tax, which is 50 yen cheaper than the 2 curry set I chose. However, the naan seemed to be smaller in size. I think the Ladies' Special Set offers a good value for women. Payment can be made using various electronic money and credit cards, which was convenient. "Royal Coconut Garden" offers authentic Indian curry that can be enjoyed with naan, and I highly recommend it!
