I love raw liver sashimi, and this place offers a lot for a cheap price! Even though I ate a lot, it was still affordable. It's best to make a reservation by phone in advance or call ahead to see if they have availability when you arrive.

I happened to visit this restaurant! The interior is not very spacious, but we managed to get a table on a Friday night ☺︎ They serve unlimited cabbage as a starter with tasty seasoning ☺︎ We enjoyed dishes like chicken sashimi, asparagus bacon wraps, chicken skewers, avocado slices, twisted skin, pork knuckles, and green onions. The skewers were easy to eat, especially the chicken was tender and delicious! All the menu items were tasty, and I secretly wanted to try everything (lol). The prices are reasonable, so I recommend it! Next time I visit, I might try the chef's choice skewers ✳︎✳︎

I met up with friends for a small year-end party and visited this yakitori restaurant, "Niwa," which I had been curious about for a while. We arrived around 9 PM without a reservation, but luckily there was one seat available and we were able to get in! We ordered dishes like umesuisho, segimo sesame salad, and negi makoko. The staff were all energetic and provided just the right amount of friendly service, making us feel comfortable right away. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively and perfect for having a good time. The yakitori was really delicious, cooked just right with a nice balance of grilling and heat. The prices were also reasonable. If the average spending per customer was 500 yen cheaper, this place would become even more popular! I found a restaurant where the taste and service really hit the spot after a long time! I will definitely come back again! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

A yakitori restaurant that is hard to get into without a reservation. Today, even though I made a reservation for 6:00 PM, the restaurant was already full. I always start with ordering the raw liver with sesame oil, even though I don't usually like raw liver. The raw liver here is delicious with the flavor of sesame oil, and I find myself eating it quickly. The cabbage with salt dressing served as an appetizer is also tasty. I love the crunchy texture of the cartilage in the yakitori, such as the cartilage, tsukune, tsukune cheese, heart, chicken wings, and bonjiri. Some of the popular skewers were already sold out. The restaurant is quite smoky due to poor ventilation, but I find the atmosphere acceptable. Despite being full, there are few staff members, so ordering can take some time, but I find myself forgiving this about the restaurant. It's a place where you can enjoy a variety of yakitori at a reasonable price. Thank you for the meal.

I often go to this restaurant because it's only 2 minutes from my company and 5 minutes from my home! They use charcoal grills and the doneness is perfect, plus it's really cheap! The cost performance is excellent. There was a sign saying they are closed on Sundays for the owner's marriage hunting, which made me laugh. When I went with 4 colleagues, we ate and drank to our heart's content for about 12,000 yen in total. It's around 3,000 yen per person, but you can eat until you're full and enjoy getting tipsy. I will definitely visit again!

Recently, I haven't been to Amerikamura area much, but this time I happened to pass by and saw a very intriguing yakitori restaurant, so I couldn't help but go in. I mean, it said "Japan's best yakitori"! The restaurant was called "Yakitori Niwa". Since the self-restraint on going out has been lifted gradually and things are starting to return to normal, I still felt a bit nervous about going into crowded places, but this place had about 90% of the customers inside and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves peacefully. Moreover, even though it was raining, the door was open, which was a very nice point nowadays. When I entered the restaurant, the handsome chef greeted me with a smile. I thought to myself, "I'm glad I came here." The restaurant had a counter right at the entrance and a couple of tables for about four people each in the back. It seemed like there were a lot of regular customers that day. I sat at the counter and first ordered a draft beer. The appetizer was cabbage, crisp and sweet with a delicious salt dressing. You can order yakitori by the piece, which was great. I ordered "negima" (chicken and leek skewer) and "seseri" (chicken neck), both were amazing! The meat was juicy and perfectly grilled. I couldn't believe how delicious they were. Feeling confident, I ordered some sake. I chose "Shishinosato" from Ishikawa prefecture. It was refreshing and paired perfectly with the yakitori. The salted seseri and the leek negima also went well with the sake. It was delicious! I also ordered "sasami wasabi" (chicken tenderloin with wasabi) and "tsukune" (chicken meatball), both were fantastic! The texture and flavor were just perfect. I sat near the entrance, so I could hear the rain outside and feel the cool breeze coming in from the open door. The smell of grilling yakitori, the delicious sake, and the conversations around me created a pleasant atmosphere. And all of this only cost around 2,000 yen. Amazing value for Japan's best yakitori! Delicious! Thank you for the meal. ☺︎

I love raw food, so I really enjoyed the chicken assortment with raw liver, chicken sashimi, and more. The tsukune skewers were delicious, especially when grilled just right. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a small counter and two tables. It was quite crowded when I went, so it might be a good idea to make a reservation.

Data creation was completed about 100 times faster than expected, and I had no plans! I was saying, "I have nothing to do today!" and then T-chan said, "Let's go for a drink?" Unexpected invitation, but I'm going! It was sudden, and I wanted to go quickly, but I couldn't think of any place to go, and I wanted to go to a restaurant I haven't written a review for (I have a food log disease). Even though it's a revisit, I haven't written about it before, so here's the place! I visited this place about a month ago, but that day I was watching ISSA while drinking, so I was already a food log lover, and I had too many reviews to catch up on! Here are the photos from last time. First, let's start with a beer... Asahi in a bottle (520 yen) to start. I chose some yakitori and side dishes that caught my eye while enjoying my beer. Appetizer (salted cabbage) - a tasty dish to eat in between yakitori. I love the salted sauce on this one. Chicken raw liver with sesame oil (400 yen) - a very clean raw liver. It's definitely delicious! The volume for 400 yen is great. Burdock pickles (290 yen) - a pickled dish with a sweet and salty soy sauce base. Perfect as a side dish. Yam kimchi (290 yen) - the crispy texture of the yam is great. Tsunagi (140 yen) and Segimo (140 yen) - two items I couldn't try last time! I especially love Segimo. It has a firm and juicy texture that's really delicious! Tsunagi was also delicious and tender. Tsukune (190 yen) - T-chan's favorite! The small soft bones in the tsukune are impressive. I personally like the sauce seasoning here. It's delicious! The heart was also simply delicious. Grilled rice ball (280 yen) - T-chan always orders this if it's on the menu at a yakitori restaurant. I didn't know that at all. The outside is crispy and fragrant, and when you break it with chopsticks, the rice inside is soft and fluffy. Grilled rice balls are quite interesting! Each restaurant apparently has a different version, so I might want to order it if I see it at another restaurant. The chef here has a really loud voice, and for some reason, his imitation is amusing, so that's also a plus. The female staff and the chef were chatting a lot at the counter, and even though we didn't talk much, the chef remembered me from my visit a month ago and said, "Thank you for your continued support this year!" So I have to keep supporting them! If the drinks were a bit cheaper, it would be perfect, but the sweet potato shochu on the rocks was good, so I'll drink that again! Thank you for the meal! ♥

When I was living in Kansai, a colleague told me about this restaurant. This place is really good! If it was nearby, I would make it my regular spot. The yakitori here is incredibly juicy. Even the typically dry gizzards and liver are juicy. It's really delicious! Among them, the chicken tenderloin is the best. You'll be drowning in the meat juices. And the meat is thick and substantial. When you come here, be sure to order the chicken tenderloin. Once won't be enough! According to my colleague, the potential of the potato salad is high. lol

This is a delicious and cost-effective yakitori restaurant that I really like. I visited the restaurant alone around 5:30 pm on a weekday. It's always crowded with customers at this popular restaurant, so it's best to go early to secure a spot. The sashimi assortment for 470 yen is a steal! It's just the right amount for one person, which is perfect for solo diners. The yakitori starts at 100 yen per skewer, and each skewer has a generous portion, providing a satisfying meal. They also offer a variety of vegetable skewers, which is a nice touch. If you're looking for delicious yakitori near Amerikamura, I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I started exercising in Amerikamura and naturally got hungry afterwards. However, I didn't want to ruin my workout by eating a heavy meal. While pondering this dilemma, I caught a whiff of something delicious... which led me to enter this restaurant. I sat right in front of the grill. Despite intending to eat just a little, I ended up ordering more than I planned. I ordered yam, heart, wasabi chicken, cheese meatballs, and raw liver... all soy sauce-based, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Delicious. The cheese meatballs were a great choice, watching them being grilled right in front of me. The soft meatballs with sauce and cheese, the smell, it was a perfect order! The raw liver... the menu said "3 kinds" but there were only 2. It included liver and heart. No hint of bloodiness, it was delicious. I topped it generously with garlic, ginger, and wasabi. The restaurant had a mix of regulars, tourists, and newcomers like us. The owner was always smiling, overseeing all the cooking stations. It was a pleasant atmosphere, to say the least.

Hello, good evening! Today, I came to "Niwa" located at the end of Amerikamura, which I had been curious about for a while. The interior of the restaurant mainly consists of a counter with tables in the back. Since I went late at night, there were regular customers at the counter. I quickly placed my order. The crispy skin with ponzu sauce was delicious. The chicken liver skewers were consistently tasty. The "tori-wasa" for 290 yen was amazing! I ordered 5 skewers of yakitori. The portions were generally large. The "seseri" was tender and the "negima" with sauce was exceptionally delicious. Overall, all the yakitori was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The best yakitori in Japan!!! I'm really curious. There may be issues with location and timing, but it seems like there are a lot of drunk customers. I decided to order a few dishes and leave it up to the chef to grill the yakitori. Cabbage with salt sauce is served as an appetizer. The flavor is strong and goes well with alcohol. I enjoyed chicken skewers and raw liver with my drinks, and more yakitori kept coming out. The sauce here is like a steak sauce with onion paste, and it goes well with alcohol. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back again.

I visited on a regular night. The restaurant had a counter and a few table seats. I ordered the following items: - Heart (salt) 110 yen - Chewy and crispy. - Seseri (salt) 140 yen - Nothing special. - Negima (green onion and chicken skewer) 170 yen - Generous portion. - Tsukune cheese (chicken meatball with cheese) 220 yen - Not very tasty. - Misaki (chicken tail) 100 yen - Tough part. Best today. - Liver with sesame oil 140 yen - Rarely cooked liver with sesame oil is a good combination. In summary, the taste is average, but the prices are very cheap and the portions are good.

This is a top-notch yakitori restaurant in Minami! It is located in Amerikamura, just past the Korean Consulate and the first left turn, on the left side. My absolute recommendations here are the raw liver, chicken tenderloin, skin, cheese, and tsukune. The raw liver is a must-try, just look at the picture! The chicken tenderloin is fatty and delicious, while the skin is crispy and perfect with drinks. The tsukune is well-made and the sauce is tasty. I highly recommend these dishes, so be sure to try them out!
