Stayed for 2 nights with breakfast included on a business trip this time. It was a great choice even though it was a little far from the workplace across the Sumida River. First of all, the advantage is that it is close to the station. There are many dining options nearby for dinner, and the room even had a washing machine with a dryer and free detergent, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is new and clean, with a balcony offering a great view of Tokyo at night, including the Skytree. Breakfast was served at the restaurant on the 1st floor, with set menus due to infection prevention measures. It was a normal breakfast without any particularly memorable items, but there were no complaints at all. On the last morning, I took a walk to Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine with my subordinates before heading to work. I had a comfortable business trip experience.

On this recent business trip to Tokyo, I stayed at Tokyu Stay in Monzen-Nakacho. Prices for hotels in the city are increasing, making it difficult to find accommodation within budget. The hotel itself was average, nothing particularly good or bad. Monzen-Nakacho is a charming neighborhood, making it easy to find places to eat at night. It's also convenient as it's close to the subway stations (Tozai Line, Oedo Line). On the 1st floor of Tokyu Stay Monzen-Nakacho, there is a dining place called "San Choku Dining f's Kitchen" which serves as the breakfast venue. Guests can enjoy the buffet-style breakfast for 1000 yen (tax included), even if you're not staying at the hotel. The restaurant turns into a meat bar during lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu includes scrambled eggs, sausages, bread, salad, and coffee. While it's more substantial than a typical business hotel breakfast, it doesn't offer as many options as a city hotel. There's a mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and you can eat as much as you want. It's nice that they have 100% juice available. Overall, it's a good place for a quick meal.

I had to stay in Monzen-Nakacho due to a sudden business trip as my usual accommodation in Ningyocho was fully booked. The single room with breakfast included was 8,000 yen, which is quite reasonable for Tokyo. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am at the restaurant on the first floor, offering a buffet-style Japanese and Western mix. Although you receive a breakfast coupon at check-in, you can also have breakfast for 1,000 yen without it, and no reservation is needed. On the day of my stay, I enjoyed a vegetable salad, scrambled eggs, potato salad, macaroni salad, soup, bread, and vegetable juice. While the variety may not be extensive, it is more than satisfying for the price of 8,000 yen including breakfast in Monzen-Nakacho. You can also pay 1,000 yen in cash on the day. The restaurant has a large LCD TV on the wall, and during breakfast hours, they show news programs from private TV stations, keeping you entertained.

This is the breakfast venue at Tokyu Stay Monzen-Nakacho, located right near Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine. Even non-guests can use it by purchasing a 1,000 yen coupon. Originally called F,S Kitchen, it is used as the hotel's breakfast venue in the morning. The setup is more spacious and the food selection is better compared to other Tokyu Stay breakfasts. The staff is attentive to the buffet line. The scrambled eggs are commercial grade. It would be nice to have a wider variety of salads. There is a large screen inside where you can watch the morning news while having breakfast. Usually, I eat ramen or meat, so I took this opportunity to load up on healthier options like salads and yogurt.
