On the weekend, I explored Shimokitazawa with my two young children. We got tired from walking around, so we decided to use the lounge at TSUTAYA as a cafe alternative for the first time. The one-hour course with alcohol was around 1500 yen. The atmosphere was like a business lounge at an international airport, with simple light snacks, sweets, and alcohol available. One good thing is that you can bring your own books into the store. It's perfect for chilling with a beer and reading magazines. The downside is that my 8-year-old daughter was charged as an adult, which I thought was a bit pricey for families. However, I think it's a good place to take a break when you're out and about by yourself.

If you register your credit card in advance for payment, there are discounts available.
