I was looking for a second restaurant when a staff member called out to me and I entered. It was a curry restaurant. Since I had already eaten a full meal, I had tandoori chicken and cheese naan as snacks, along with beer, highball, lemon sour, and wine. It was a good value for money. Thank you for the meal.

On my second visit, I entered the restaurant around 1:30 PM on a weekday, so the place was almost empty again. I wanted to try different curries, so I ordered the 3 curry set (¥1,200) with vegetable, mutton, and the daily special keema curry. It was delicious as always! The naan was also huge as usual. They even served me hot chai as a bonus (forgot to take a picture). Thank you for the meal. They have different curries available each day, so I'll try visiting on a different day next time.

An Indian restaurant in Shinbashi 3-chome. For lunch, they serve curry, but the staff calling in customers did not wear masks as before. I was stuck at the Nishi-Shinbashi intersection waiting for the signal to change, so I decided to trust the government's decision and chose the Shrimp Curry for 900 yen at the standing bar on Hibiya Street, ignoring the maskless staff, and went upstairs to find two people waiting for takeout and 12 empty seats near the previous customers. I told them I wanted the Shrimp Curry, but they said they didn't have it, so I ended up ordering the daily special "Shrimp Curry" for 900 yen. I specified rice and lassi. I was seated close to the previous customers, and soon more customers arrived, making it a pseudo-sharing table situation. I adjusted my mask and waited. The curry arrived in just 2 minutes, followed by a plate full of rice and vegetables a minute later. The vegetables were bland, so I focused on the curry. Although the curry wasn't very spicy, I managed to finish it, drank up the lassi that arrived later than the customers next to me, paid using a QR code before the customers next to me who had leftovers, and it took 12 minutes in total.

First visit. ◼︎Crowd level: Visited around 2 pm for a late lunch. When I entered, there was only one customer, but they left midway through, so it was almost like having the place to myself. Sorry for coming so late. ◼︎Menu, what I ate: Lunch set is 900 yen for 1 curry, 1200 yen for 3 curries. I chose naan or saffron rice, with salad and a drink included. I decided to go for the 3 curry option. From left to right in the photo: vegetable, fish, mutton curry. Each curry had a distinct flavor profile, with different seasonings for each type. The "mutton" curry was less sweet, with a stronger spicy and salty taste. The "vegetable" curry had a sweetness and a gentle touch of vegetables. The "fish" curry was also sweet, but with a different kind of sweetness that paired well with the ingredients. Honestly, this place had the most diverse range of curry flavors I've ever experienced, it was impressive. The combination of these 3 curries had a good balance of sweet and spicy. Since there were more sweet curries, I personally recommend adding a spicy one for variety. And the naan was huge! Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it. It might have been suitable for the amount of curry since there were 3 types, but my stomach couldn't handle it... a dilemma. Was it because of the time? They even gave me a complimentary hot chai at the end. So kind... It had a nice ginger kick and was delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal, I was completely satisfied.

This year was the first time I visited Lumina in six months. The daily special was Keema Curry for 900 yen. The staff in the kitchen had changed, and the friendly guy who looked like Freddie on the floor, as well as the guy who used to call people in from the street, were no longer there. But in this day and age, the prices have not gone up at all. It's really amazing! I'm grateful!

Curry restaurant revisit. Today, I had the mutton curry for ¥900. It was spicier compared to the other curries on the menu, which was good. It seems like there was less meat in the curry compared to before. However, I appreciate that they haven't raised the prices for a while. They used to have a limited quantity mutton "tongue" curry for ¥1000, which was delicious.

I visited my usual curry restaurant after about half a year. They had a shrimp curry special on Thursdays for ¥900 (comes with naan, lassi, boiled egg, and fresh vegetables). It seems like the amount of solid ingredients has decreased a bit, but it's amazing that they haven't raised prices during these times. Thank you m(__)m

I visited around 11:30 am! I was always urged by the staff to enter the store vigorously in front of the store, making it a bit difficult to enter. Today, I decided to enter with determination. Inside the store, there were no acrylic boards even during the pandemic, and the distance between the next person was quite close. I ordered the daily curry (900 yen). It was spinach and chicken curry that day. It was served in about 5 minutes. Naan was placed on the salad, making it difficult to eat the salad. There were options for "HOT" and "MILD" curry, and I ordered HOT. However, it wasn't that spicy, more like mildly spicy. The taste was okay. After eating the naan, I ordered saffron rice. It was a typical restaurant of the Innepa store. Not much of a feature. Saffron rice was also all-you-can-eat and there was no distance.

Last year, I mostly worked from home and had lunch at home as well. Since the beginning of this year, I have started going to the office about twice a week and have resumed having lunch around my workplace. About half of the restaurants that I used to frequent before the pandemic have closed down in the past two years. This place, however, I haven't been to in about a year and a half! I'm grateful for their continued business! Today's special lunch was shrimp curry for ¥900. The curry was light and the fluffy, giant naan was as delicious as ever. I'm still worried about Omicron and the sixth wave, but can we say that daily life is slowly returning?

At this Indian curry restaurant with a higher price range, they are holding on and staying open while other dining establishments in Shinbashi are closed. The second floor was empty when I peeked in. The menu was handed to me after a while, offering a variety of curry, naan, and set menus at higher prices. It's common for Indian curry restaurants to have lower prices for lunch but increase them for dinner, which I find hard to understand. I ordered curry and naan for 1870 yen. The portion was average. The curry was quite sweet with little spiciness and umami. It cooled down quickly despite being served hot, and the flavor was weak. It felt like I was just enjoying the taste and texture of the naan. It was nice that the naan was cut into easy-to-eat pieces. The lassi served as a complimentary drink was thin and watery. The restaurant industry continues to struggle amid the ongoing pandemic.

Hello. I am the self-proclaimed Curry King. While wandering around the Shinbashi area, I stumbled upon a seemingly ordinary curry restaurant that caught my attention. Despite its unassuming appearance, I couldn't help but check the menu as it's a common trait among curry enthusiasts like myself. (Huh? Mutton Tang Curry? What's this?) Intrigued, I made my way to the 2nd floor where I saw a sign that read "Halal." The smell was enticing. I decided to enter. The interior of the restaurant had an Indian vibe. Although I couldn't find the Mutton Tang Curry I saw outside, the other menu items looked promising so I opted for a set menu. ◆Dinner Set A for 1500 yen included a choice of 2 curries - Mutton Masala and Dal Tadka. Mutton Masala wasn't part of the set, but after some persuasion, I managed to switch the Chicken Masala for Mutton Masala. I tried to change the Naan to Roti as well, but that request was denied. I chose a hot chai for my drink. ◉Dal Tadka was a hit! After the first bite, I was confident in my victory. This Dal Tadka had a nice, creamy texture from the cooked beans, allowing me to savor the richness of the beans. However, the garlic flavor stood out boldly, followed by a hint of cumin. This was it - a delicious garlic dal that I devoured eagerly. It paired well with the fluffy and crispy Naan here, but I imagine it would be even better with Chapati. ◉Mutton Masala consisted of mutton, onions, and bell peppers. The mutton was tender, but the gravy lacked the full flavor of the meat. However, the gravy itself was spicy and unique with whole spices adding a crunchy texture. Particularly, the cardamom gave it a refreshing twist. This Mutton Masala was different and enjoyable. As I left, I noticed the Halal certification on the outdoor sign. The interior was impeccably clean, but there were some aspects of hygiene among the staff that could be improved, especially in these times. Even legends like Jushin Thunder Liger continue to wear masks. Perhaps today was just an off day. It's a shame that a restaurant known for its flavorful North Indian cuisine could potentially receive low ratings due to factors other than taste.

After half a year since the end of the pandemic, I was finally able to go back to my usual lunch spot. I am grateful that my favorite restaurants have been able to stay open despite the closure requests. I was invited inside by the familiar guy who always cheerfully calls out to passersby. I couldn't see the guy who looked a bit like Freddie Mercury who usually works on the floor. Nevertheless, I ordered mutton curry with naan and lassi for 900 yen. The naan was crispy and fluffy, the curry was light, and the lassi was refreshing. It feels like a piece of normalcy has returned to my life.

This is my first visit. Following last week, I had lunch in Shinbashi 2-chome again. I arrived a little after 11:50 on a weekday and climbed the stairs to the second-floor restaurant. There were four customers already seated. I was guided to a table for eight and looked at the menu. The 3-color curry set, which includes three types of curry, seemed appealing, but the menu listed fixed options: chicken curry, vegetable curry, and fish curry. I asked the staff if I could choose the curry, and they said I could. I chose the hot chicken curry, fish curry, and the daily special butter chicken curry. I opted for naan as the main dish and lassi as the drink. You can choose between naan and rice, and the chosen option is all-you-can-eat. While waiting, I noticed the person next to me ordered the butter chicken curry very spicy. It seems they can accommodate various levels of spiciness. To my surprise, they then sprinkled a lot of black pepper on the very spicy butter chicken curry without even tasting it. It was a unique way of eating that I couldn't imitate. The butter chicken curry arrived first, followed by the lassi, and then the naan and three curries. Under the naan, there was a salad and half a boiled egg hidden. The salad consisted of lettuce, cabbage, and carrots with cinnamon-flavored dressing. The hot chicken curry had a good balance of sweetness from the onions and a decent level of spiciness. It had a hint of cardamom and large pieces of chicken. The butter chicken curry had a mild acidity and sweetness, also with a good balance. It also had large pieces of chicken. The fish curry was made with swordfish and had a strong cardamom flavor. The naan was slightly large, crispy on the outside, and fluffy inside. It was lightly coated with ghee and had a subtle sweetness. It was my favorite type of naan. One piece of naan was not enough for all the curry, so I used a spoon to directly scoop and eat it. The lassi was mildly sweet, which I enjoyed. Overall, everything was delicious. I would like to try the mutton curry next time. Thank you for the meal.

Before I knew it, it had been a year since my last visit. I was relieved to see the same staff members, from the greeters to the floor staff to the kitchen staff. My colleague has become a loyal fan of another restaurant, so I had lunch here alone. I love the light and fluffy naan bread and the smooth curry here. I ordered the classic Mutton Curry (hot) for ¥900. It had a refreshing tomato flavor and a satisfying spicy kick. Despite the increase in consumption tax, the price remained the same. I appreciate the efforts of the company.

I arrived before noon, a few days after my last visit, but the curry was so delicious that I had to come back again. I ordered the Chicken Curry (MILD). Today's daily specials were Seafood and Butter Chicken. The curry arrived in about 1 minute, super fast! Then, the naan arrived in about 2 minutes. The naan was soft and fluffy, with a nice sweetness from the wheat. It was really delicious. The Chicken Curry (MILD) had a generous amount, was mildly spiced, and had large pieces of chicken that were juicy. The curry here is delicious, with a good aroma and flavor. The price is 900 yen, but the value for money is high. I rate it 3.8 stars.

I arrived a little before 7:00 and ordered Set A (1500 yen) with a cheese naan substitution (250 yen). Set A includes two types of curry, naan, rice, salad, and a drink. The curries were Fish Masala and Saag Paneer, and the cheese naan arrived in about 10 minutes. The cheese naan had a normal amount of cheese with a slightly salty taste. The naan was soft and slightly chewy, and the cheese naan was delicious with a crispy edge. The Fish Masala curry had a generous portion with a slightly sweet and spicy flavor, likely containing a few pieces of tuna. The Saag Paneer curry had a generous portion as well, with a slightly sweet flavor and four pieces of cheese. Both curries were delicious, with a strong aroma of spices and plenty of spinach. I ordered it because spinach is their specialty, and it was the right choice. The portion size was also generous. I would rate it 3.8 stars!

*Lunch Visit* (Food) Keema Curry (All-you-can-eat Naan and Rice, with Drink) @900 yen! The Keema Curry is packed with minced meat and not too spicy, allowing you to fully enjoy the richness and flavor of the curry. It's quite light, so it goes well with the Naan! The Naan is just the right thickness and chewy, you could eat as many as you want. (Atmosphere/Service) The restaurant has a typical Indian curry shop vibe. It seems to have a decent capacity, so you can probably find a seat even during lunchtime. (Overall) I was lured in by an Indian guy in Shinbashi, but it turned out to be a great find! It's interesting how Keema Curry can vary in taste even though it looks the same from different restaurants.

I decided to try out a new place in Shinbashi and ended up walking into a restaurant where I was the only customer on a weekday night at 6:30 pm. The place seemed to be showing a soccer game (Japan vs. South Korea, if I remember correctly) on the screen. The staff, all of whom were Indian, mentioned that the restaurant had been in business for 12 years. I ordered two types of curry (priced at 1,500 yen each) - Fish Curry and Vegetable Curry. The dishes came with turmeric-colored rice, salad, and naan. The Vegetable Curry had okra and cauliflower in it. Overall, the food was decently tasty. The service included complimentary papadum and hot towels. The final bill included tax, which was not indicated on the menu.

I came to eat curry after a long time! I arrived about an hour before the end of lunchtime. It was not crowded and I was able to relax. I ordered chicken curry. It came with half naan and half rice, and also included lassi. I got quite full. I think this place is one of the best for Indian curry around here.

Caught by an Indian catcher and lured in by the claim of being the first Indian cuisine izakaya in Japan, I entered out of curiosity. The all-you-can-drink for 120 minutes was 1500 yen as advertised. However, upon looking at the menu, I realized that the 500 yen appetizer menu that was mentioned outside was not available. Feeling a bit tricked, I decided to order with the mindset of leaving if I got upset. I ordered the following items: - Mutton Tikka (3 pieces for 900 yen): The spices were strong, and surprisingly, it was quite delicious. It tasted similar to what you would expect anywhere else. - Tandoori Chicken (Half for 1400 yen): I chose the half portion to avoid wasting food, but it felt more like two chicken legs! Still, it was surprisingly tasty. I asked the staff if there were any other menu items, and even though they initially said no, they eventually brought out a menu after some insistence. By that point, I was already satisfied. Lastly, I had the following: - Mutton Curry (1400 yen) - Naan (400 yen) The staff jokingly suggested a very hot curry, but I politely declined and opted for a mild one. The curry was delicious, and the naan was not too sweet, complementing the curry well. In the end, I enjoyed a lassi and left feeling satisfied. Thank you for the meal!
