Recently, Summit Store has been opening stores all over the place, but this Summit is quite different from the others. It is located on Setagaya Street, with a bowling alley on the second floor and the store on the first floor. The premises are spacious, with a golf driving range, batting center, and model homes also on site. I was planning to stop by Summit on my way home from work and get some half-price or discounted deli items for a cheap and convenient dinner, but to my surprise, all they had left were sushi. I guess towards closing time, most of the items get sold out. Lesson learned!

This is a review of the Summit supermarket. It is located along Setagaya Street, but I wonder if this Summit has been around for a long time. The building seems old-fashioned, or something like that. No Dan Brown here. I visited about an hour before closing time, and there weren't many discounts. The scallop fry was almost half price. The batter was a bit greasy, but it had a decent thickness and the scallop itself tasted good, so if it's on sale, it's not bad. I think it would be even better with cream added to make a scallop cream dish.
